Hey welcome back to my channel. Obviously you see something a little different here. You will notice. I kind of have something a little different about me. Something'S changed so in this video, as you can see, obviously, by the title, I am going to tell you guys what not to do when you're trying to get ash blonde hair and hopefully for you, you don't make the mistakes that I did and you enjoy this Video, you learned some stuff from it so before we get started in this video, please do me a favor and hit that subscribe button. Give this video and like and also hit that notification bell to get alert. So when I have new videos, so to start off, this hair is from. I see, hair and I have worked with I see, hair before on a previous video on my water waves, wig video. If you have not seen that go and check it out, it'll probably be a little thing right here. You know they came back to me and was like hey. We want you to do another video and I was like why not go blonde. So obviously I did just that before I tell you about the mishaps and just the whole mess of me trying to do blonde hair. I wanted to what let you guys know that there's a video is not sponsored whatsoever. They ain't paying me to do these videos. Sadly, so all these opinions about this hair are my own. I'M not gon na lie to you. Blonde hair is hard as to do like blonde wigs, especially to just blend into your skin, and also blend into your scalp or whatever. I'M going with this just to make it look realistic, make it look unlockable just make it look like you, don't have a hat sitting on top of your head is hard is like. Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm just I'm not that good with wigs, like I thought I was you know. Maybe I just can't die here to save my life, maybe I'm just very unlucky and it takes me a long time to lay a wig. That'S why you know, I don't show you guys the kind of step to step thing about how I actually lay my own hair, because it's just a mess like it's a mess behind the scenes. It just really is so to first start off with how to get this color um. I messed it up so bad. Like my hair turned purple, it turned light. Lavender and honestly, you know I wasn't really hating on the color, but that's not the color. I was going for so I have to do some tweaking. I just have to do the whole nine to just get this hair color to be. The color is right now, so, if you're looking for a five minute ash blonde tutorial this ain't it so you know, go ahead. Click out this video, but if you want to learn how to fix your dyeing mishaps, when dyeing 6:13 blonde hair, you know I got you we're gon na be okay. We may suck a guy in here, but it's going to be okay, we're not professionals. So first I use the Revlon Colorstay light ash blonde. You probably have seen so many people use this there's like three different ash blondes. So there is light ash blonde, there's medium ash blonde and there is dark ash blonde, get light ash blonde. If you really want kind of achieve around this level of lightness, because any other thing is gon na make your hair so dark, and I got in dark ash blonde for a another week that I was trying to do and it just turned brown honestly, it turned Brown, maybe I messed up - I probably messed up, but it turned brown. So I was like you know what let me get the lightest of the light ash blonde and see how that works. So the only thing bad about light ash blonde with Revlon Colorstay. You might see it at your CVS. Is your local Walmart's, your local? Whatever you got around the corner around me in my vicinity and my area within 50 miles of me within a hundred miles of me, they do not sell the light ash blonde. So I finally found it on Amazon. I will leave that link down below. If you want that, and you can't find it in the stores around you yeah, they just have a limited supply. I guess they just don't sell it in the stores anymore. So, like I said, I got it off Amazon and I got it for only probably like 3 bucks and some change. They keep changing the price on me, but whatever have put it on the 6:13 hair, you will see a clip right now how it came out. The box fresh in my hand, 6:13 yellow brassy ugly to me hair. So, of course, what you want to do is you want to tone it, and I didn't sit there and put. I did not tone it with some shampoo or or conditioner any of those purple shampoos or conditioners. I did not do that because if you want to keep your hair at least a little bit blonde like this, have a little bit of warmth in it while still having like an ashy color. You don't want to do that because if you put some purple shampoo or conditioner on it before you go in with your dye or your toner, it's gon na turn. Your hair are very, very, very white or very, very, very silver. And so I have made a mistake with some previous hair, but I was looking like completely white gray hair, and that was just not the color I was going for and so once you tone hair and you take the brassiness out of it. It is so hard to put that brassy born any type of not purple blue or gray undertones and take that out of the hair, it's very hard to do that. So I just went straight in on the 613 yellow hair, with this Revlon Colorstay light ash blonde. So you are probably like: okay, simple is box dye? What can you really mess up? I did, and so I don't understand how people put the hair all over the wig and saturate it completely every single strand. I don't know how they do it in. Like ten minutes or less because once you start dyeing it - and it starts going 10 minutes 15 minutes 20 minutes and to you applying that hair is getting darker and darker more purple, just a deep, plum, purple color, and so when it's super dark like that, it's Probably over processing the dye is probably over processing. It should be on there probably like I think, 20 to 30 minutes tops. So I'm just really. I don't know I'm just really slow at putting dye on hair. I can just not do it with the quickness. I didn't and it over processed and they turned my purple, so I was sitting there with lavender hair. You know I was trying on different lights, putting it outside and sunlight cuz. I was like my hair is not purple like it and I trip in like you know, but it was lavender through and through. So I was like, oh my god, so I let it sit in some water. Some residue of the guy came off, but not all of it, so I'm here googling, you tubing all the ways to fix over toned over dyed blue purple hair. So I came across this quick little tip, which is mixing lemon with conditioner slapping it on and letting it sit and depending how much of that cool tones you want to take out of the hair is how long you let it sit on there. So I did that in that first I was like you know like it's not gon na work like lemon and conditioner like please, oh, I left it in overnight. Saturated the way completely like I didn't do specific measurements, but I would say: do two parts lemon juice? 1 part conditioner, however much of it and, however much of hair you need to saturate it in depends how much you put on there. So I left it in overnight and I woke up in the morning and you'll see this clip right here. I washed it out and it was this color and I would say this kind of is the perfect color I was going for, like I kind of was going for a tiny bit a sheer, but I was like you know I like. Let me stop testing my look like. Let me just be satisfied with this color and leave it alone. So that is what I did also also other people didn't do it, but I mixed some silicone mix into the lemon juice and conditioner, because I was just worried that it would just strip it of like all its youth. The hair is already bleached blonde, so you know your hair. Is it's not the strongest so with silicone mix it kind of like puts a silicone barrier onto your hair. So when or curling it, it kind of gives it more of a luster and shine back to it. So that's what I did you that's optional. You don't need that to take the purple or blue tones out of your hair, but I just use that as a precaution, I strained it and I added some curls into it like I usually do, and so I am pretty happy with the color of it. Um yeah, like I said that is how you fix over toned hair now onto just making the hair. Look realistic, like you know, you know how to slay here if you can make blonde hair or any different color hair besides black or natural colors, look realistic, like it's growing out of your scalp like if you can do that with ease. You got this slain wig stuff in the bag me, i fumble the bag and I do not so blending it into my skin tone was so difficult like even now you might be like. Oh, your hair looks nice. I mean yeah, it does for the video, but in person I would say I could have slayed this hair a hundred times better and with my next install of this hair, I probably will slay it hopefully a hundred times better, with icy hair to go into details About the specific wig and the quality of it, and all of that, since there are 22 inch hair, it came. It came in this little icy, hair box and it also came with a little pamphlet and stuff about how to take care of your hair and all that stuff and their social media also gave me some eyelashes I'll, probably put like a little picture of it. I use them and yeah so with that being said, this wig is a lace frontal and it has a pretty good amount of parting space. I'M like I'm a little scared to get super close in the camera because, like I said I did not lay this way to perfection, so I mean I'm just gon na get close to the camera and show you, but it has I'm gon na say. Ah, why do I never like read the details before I go on camera, but it has a good amount of parting space. You came in a medium brown lace and with that being said, that is the issue like I. I think this hair is pretty good. It does shed a bit, but honestly, every blonde wig or hair, I've, gotten or bundles kind of does shed quite a bit, and it probably is also shedding, because I put it through the most with over processing the dye and then putting conditioner and lemon juice on It so that's probably my fault, but um whip this back to the lace with this medium brown lace, like that's, probably my biggest con with this hair it just we need to stop using the medium brown lace like it blends in with no one like I don't. Even know why they came up with that beige brown lace color, because if you it's kind of easier to like bleach it and put foundation on it when it's like a natural black color or just natural dark hair colors. But when it comes to lighter hair colors. Maybe just for me, but I know for a lot of people if they aren't used to working with a lighter hair and trying to make it look. Unlockable, it's gon na be a hassle because, like even now with my with putting brown foundation on the lace, it still just didn't look realistic. It just still kind of looked like a lace frontal, which I mean it is, but you want it to look as realistic as possible unless you don't, but most of y'all probably do. I did not bleach the knots and I would have advised anybody not to bleach it, because the hair is already bleached. So you know that the hair is weaker and I just was too scared to bleach the knots and have my frontal falling out this medium brown lace like it just needs to be discontinued. All the companies need to just come together and have transparent, lace, have HD lace and everybody will be happy. You know if you are going with blonde hair, try to look for a transparent lace, because it will just make your life so much easier and the lace is also thinner. This lace is kind of one of the more harder laces, so that also was hard for me to blend and make it super flat and just look like scalp this hair, I would say it's probably like a thinner density. I'Ll probably say it's like a 120 or 130 density. It is a kind of more natural thickness of a wig um. I feel like it could be a little thicker. The end I never cut my ends. I kind of weirdly, like my ends, a little bit. Wispy cuz it I don't know, I just do so like the ends could be a little thicker and just the wig in general could be just a tad bit thicker. In my opinion, before I go just a little heads up with doing blonde hair, if you just if you're struggling like me, just weird tips that I feel like might help a little bit, but for me um just to make it look more natural and just fit In with my makeup more, I didn't contour my forehead because for some reason it like a super harsh contrast and from my hair to my face. It just looked like a super harsh flashback. Merry contrast, just random, and also that, helps to not get Foundation and product and makeup and to if you're, going to do baby hairs. This chin, your wig a little bit lower to frame your face a little bit more when it comes to lighter hair and when you are going into pluck and put possibly put baby ears, because it just looks like it's more coming out of your scalp. Rather than floating off of your head, so that's another little weird tip, I think, would help when you are dying at ash blonde work really quickly like try to just don't try to part it and do sections try to just cover the wig as much as you Can with dye because it processes a lot faster and 6:13 hair is as light as you can get, but is going to process even faster and to not just have the hassle of trying to fix it afterwards. Just work as quick as you can also another thing make sure you have some oil or wax to put on your hair because with blonde hair and it's kind of like a lot of flyaways that you see blonde hair in general looks drier. Then darker hair. So don't be afraid to put some oil or wax onto it, because it'll just look more uniform and it will look less dry and more healthy. So that's another little tip before I go all the information about this wig, the hair dye everything I use to fix it. Just everything I use to try to just save this install will be in the description box down below. If you have any questions that I may have left out in this video go ahead and leave a comment down below. Thank you again. I see hair for working with me again.
