Watch Me Slay This Wig!!! **Detailed Tutorial** "Mermaidiana"

Okay guys so today we're gon na be covering another week. This week was made by me and the hair was not provided by me, but it was me if I'm not sure where the hairs from my client kind of just drop it off in a gift bag. So I don't know where it's from, but it is really nice, it's very soft something I wish it were from and I'll link it below for y'all. You can see all of my get you a wig. Yes, I made this way guys as you can see here. I have went through and weave out a few pieces because these pieces are gon na be lighter than the rest of the week, so I didn't go in and weave out so many pieces, but I don't want a lot of highlights just like on the top. Basically, I don't want to do highlights throughout the entire week. That would have click entirely too long. So just leave a few pieces on the top, and these pieces are gon na be lighter than the rest of the week. The way we're coloring today is gon na be purple, but I'm going to be using two different purples. So the top half of the wig see purple passion but kiss colors temptation, and I don't know if you guys can see it'll focus and if you got to see right here where it says level six. But that's what it says. It says level 6, so level 6 lets you know, basically how light your hair needs to be in order for this color to come out the way they're supposed to come out. This is the other color that I'm using this one says intense purple. There'S going to be on the bottom, so what are you doing? I'M ready? Oh, wait. The water color. This one is also level stakes. This is a color swatch. These are the different levels. So this is a level 6. So, basically, you can get that purple color, with only with your hair, only be in this light. So we have right here. 613 would be 613 with your level 10. So this is for people that don't understand why you need why you need 613 here in order to get certain colors is because those colors won't penetrate unless you have 613 here you can't turn black hair pink and one process is not get this color, which is A lighter, more pest early, looking color can't see it, but it says level 9. So your hair needs to be a level 9 and I'm gon na go ahead and tease this since we are doing ombre last video teasing it first or back call me or whatever you wan na call. It will give you more of a blended look instead of having dark purple and then hyper, so it'll be marbling it you don't have any blunt color lines. If you tease it first, so I'm going to go ahead and do that and I think I want the lighter purple to start about here. Oh you're gon na put it all the way up and soon until where your teeth, you can see it still, it still has some out the TV. Maybe you want to comb this out. Can you see how it's like it has like a blender with? Instead of adjusting straight across purple, this is my rubber band. It is off. Obviously the root part is gon na get some purple on it, but I don't want all of this to be that dark purple, so I'm gon na hold this out. The lighter highlight actually some more lavender. Don'T all have this purple range, so what I'm gon na do is mix this with some conditioner if you're gon na do this make sure the conditioner is white. I'M gon na mix that, with this to make it lighter, and then I'm gon na put this on the hair that I actually just went through and brushed over, will be processes and then I'll be doing this. So a be back, I'm gon na go color bones and okay, so I'm I needed a new color and this process for so now. I'M gon na go in and begin washing. I'M watching this wig with my naked moisture Edition, which is sulfite sulfate free and that's what you want to use when you're doing watercolor, because any sulfates will definitely get rid of any product that you put in there, not sure how well everything is deposited. Since we did put it on using the water, I also used my naked honey and almond moisture whip conditioner, which I forgot to show you guys so right now, I'm just showing you how nice this frontal looks like it's so pretty I didn't even have to pluck It I didn't have to cook it at all, I'm not sure if it was pre pluck, but it looks great. I didn't have to do anything to it. So now I'm preparing to mold the hair, so I'm using a part on the side. That'S the look that I'm going for that's the vision I had in my head with a deep that part everything please making sure that part is straight and then you're going to take a spray bottle and wet that hair down, so that we can begin molding and To mold the hair down, I'm using my Nairobi phone, I prefer Nairobi foam over any other phone because your hands don't get sticky and it doesn't run y'all see me using my little blue. I put that right under there because my wig it will spin around and spin around spin around while I'm trying to style it. So that's why that's under there it looks dirty because it has Foundation and all kind of stuff on it. So just excuse my little little washcloths right here, i'm just mulching it down nice. You take that so I'm taking the pan out of the lace goes head in the race and I'm gon na pin the do-rag down in the front and I'm gon na take another pan and pan the do-rags down on it back and that's how you make sure You got that Durga as tight as possible because just placing it on there is not really gon na do any good and I'll. Let this sit overnight. So now it's the next morning I am taking the duex off and voila lady slay not betrayed and you're just gon na comb that mole out. But you don't know the way to which it isn't, because nairobi phone doesn't do that on. Your hair will still be soft if you're using any other phone. It might just be crispy and crunchy too next morning. So you definitely want to comb that out. So I'm gon na start hot combing with my auntie hot comb. It is electric and I'm gon na be using my character, wax stick to lay down all the flyaways, so I do anything special here. You literally just made that wax stick on those hairs. I mean I have comment going directly and we'll get until, but I'm making sure every time I do a pass. I'M making sure that my the spine of my comb is pressing down on the hair, because that's how you get excited so I had to buy me a new razor comb. I do have a professional razor comb that I hate, because I don't notice because I'm left-handed or whatever it's kind of difficult for me to use, I rather use the beauty supply store one. But I'm just taking my razor comb and adding in some layers. Layers are absolutely necessary if you want those big voluminous, curls and neat layers, it doesn't have to be super short layers. It can be long way, but you need some kind of layers. If that's what a lot of people tend to think. Oh, you need five bundles to get a certain. Look when really you don't you just need layers layers give them. Let'S give the illusion that the hair is so right. Now I'm just curling using my Conair 1 inch barrel, curling iron, and when I get to the right side of the head, I curl away from the face, and then I don't know if you guys can tell. But when I get to the top, I hold the hair straight up on a girl that also gives it more volume and just call me everything out trying to get a feel for how I wanted today. Josh stood there, for I don't know how long comb that Bank back and calming it forward, because I'm just such a perfectionist and it was not all in the way I wanted it to fall. So you're gon na see me comb it back a couple of times like how it is right now. That'S like a I want to say a grandma bein just like how I had cells little flips. I don't like that. So I decide to keep messing with there's. So much, and it's mainly because of layers the latest also gave the hair. My job fell in love with this color, even just staying here, watching it going back just so pretty so what I ended up doing this is the bang wasn't falling the well my fall. I went ahead and turn my hot comb back on and a hot comb the hair going in a forward motion all the hair in the bank. This is what I ended up doing to get that bang to fall more in the face. Yeah, I'm combing it back calming it for trying to get it right. I know like what I'm doing my actual clients head. I know they'd probably be like if she called me damn dang bag almost uh, because I will literally sit there and comb the bank deck.
