Hey guys welcome in today's video we're going to be talking about how to blend colors for trendy bugs find your beautiful the two basic ways on how to blend colors the alternation technique and the progression technique. I used the darling, superstar silver color. This hair is 100 %, sunny the best braiding hair extension. You can ever get anywhere and I also used super soft break 39 more, like burgundy color yeah. So I blended this too, and the technique I used was the alternation technique. For this point, you're beautiful before you get into the blending process, you have to decide on the proportion. Do you want to do a 50/50 blend or a 70/30 blend? So now, I'm just gon na cut this hair extension and then blend it using the alternation technique. So I'm cutting this hair into two I'll. Do it to Pat cuts for the first braiding hair extension and then I'll quickly pick the tips just to have this feathered effect. So my first hair is here now in alternation. You place both hair side-by-side at the midpoint. This way, and then you pick equal amount of both colors spare time once you're done with that just mix the colors. This way again, this is looking really nice. You see, there's a uniform blend of both colors and it comes out. Looking so beautiful for progression technique length is of utmost importance, ensure that one lens is obviously longer than the other lens so that you can have that longer length at the tip of the hair. Now this is what you get when you do a blend. This progression you get to have only one color at the tip, and this usually looks more beautiful, then having to join colors when you're braiding that sometimes look really tacky, so it's best to blend it. This way, I'm gon na cut the burgundy into four, and I will cut the silver color into two. So this way we'll have the silver color all the way to the tip and burgundy would just be from the roots to meet strand. So this is what you get when you do. The progression technique is so beautiful and you get a single tone right at the tip. I hope you enjoyed watching this video.
