What'S up y'all, my name is welcome back to my channel, so today's video is going to be a part two of how to dye black hair and make it red without any bleach. So i really hope you guys enjoyed this video. Please, like comment share and subscribe, and let's begin alrighty, so we're not using l'oreal high color highlights: okay, that's a dud! We ain't using that no more! We are going to be using the good girls over at ion we're going to be the eye on uh. The true tones for dark hair yeah we go and we're going to use the color red and then all the other products that y'all see on the screen right now. Okay, so um y'all, have been saying l'oreal high color highlights has not been working for y'all. So i was like okay. What else could there possibly be? I know there's one by chi, but you can only get it at cosmoprof, so i was like okay, let me get something that's ready readily available and i haven't seen anyone really talk about this one. So i was cruising through my local sally beauty. You got me and i saw that they had that for dark hair. I was like okay. Is it the exact same and the girl said? Yes, that's okay bit we're gon na buy some. So i did like a test trial on a different way for a wig order, but we did burgundy. I don't care about broken damage, so we're gon na do bread again. Okay, so we use two boxes of red and all things that nature um and y'all see me now i protected the lace because we don't want no staining of the lace. I know, but i got time, but that's we use the vaseline and we also use even wonderlace spray to protect the lace from staining and then um. Now we are using the two tubes and we are cutting open and then putting it in a plant jar. I feel like that's the biggest bowl i have, and i don't want to use um like a something from the kitchen girl. I don't. I don't want to use it. So i just used um a plant pot to be honest with you. I don't have it for any all. My plants have outgrown the small pots, so i just use them now to mix colors and all things that nature so um we're squeezing the tubes in there and then we're going to take our 40 volume developer. 40. Okay, i don't i've, never tried it with anything. Less. I'Ve only done this twice now and they have both been success stories. Okay, so i don't wan na hear anything saying. Oh, i tried this, but it didn't work out. I'M showing you literally every step and every product that i used okay, so i don't want to hear pim about anything all right, so we're mixing it thoroughly, make sure there's no chunks in the developer. You wan na even smooth application. I don't i can. I cannot tell you what i used like the amounts of developer. I use i don't measure, i ain't got confident. Okay, i don't measure, i just go with the flow, i'm very gold to flow. I don't have time to have order in my life, so yeah we're just mixing it thoroughly in the plant pot or whatever, and then we are going to take our sections and we're just going to slather it all over. Okay, we're just going to slather all over it, but we're also going to take the dye brush and make sure that we're applying to directly on the root, because we don't want like any. We don't want splotchy pieces of hair, okay, so we're gon na slather. All over with our hands and our gloves and making sure that it's like really rubbed into the hair and also combing it as we go just to make sure that um what's the word every strand is coded okay, because we want everything to be read. Okay. Now, what am i doing with this wig? I cannot tell you because they sent it to me, but they didn't want to pay me so now, i'm stuck with a wig. I don't know if i want to like do i want to put on my head not really because i don't like red, i don't i don't like red on me. I mean i like the red i like red clothing on me. I don't like red hair on me, so i don't know. Maybe it's just stuff decoration for right now i don't know who knows maybe i'll do it add it to a wig sale? I don't really have any other wigs to sell, though, although i do have some ideas for um for some wig projects who knows we'll see we'll see we'll see anyways yeah, so we're just slathering it all over. I have my cornrows out because good, i think i tend to be putting hair on while i'm dying here, so we're putting it all over making sure that we're massaging it in and applying it directly to the root making sure that every coat strand every every strand Is coated not the other way around? Okay, so yeah? This part is going to be really sped up because girl, i'm just doing the same thing over and over again make sure that everything is good. Okay, i'll check with y'all later dinosaurs alrighty. So in the previous video from last year right, you all saw that i used my the ion absolute perfection step. One booster, i think that's what it's called. I don't know, and while it does slow down the process, i think it just depends on the quality of hair that you have to be honest with you, but this wasn't not great quality, so i feel like whatever hair you have girl. If you use the ion without the um step, booster thingy, because that slows down the processing time - and it takes longer for your hair - to lift this straight 40 volume developer mix with the color, so you're good to go the hair. This hair sheds - and i didn't really like it but um yeah, so we're just applying it all over making sure that um, you know, since the the lace is protected with the vaseline and the even spray you can be messy. You don't got to worry about your lacing, because it's not going to stain it's protected. Okay, all right so now after combing everything through we're going to get our foil okay. I didn't do this last time, but i didn't feel like waiting. You know like i think, because i we only we're only doing three hours of processing instead of four. I think it was last time three. Okay and three did it well, because we used foil. Okay, we covered the root to the tip all over, and then we trapped the heat with a plastic bag and then for extra razzle dazzle. We moved the wig over on top of the what's. The thing called the floor register where the heat vent is that thingy put it on top of there. So i can really. You know i even turned up the heat in the house because my house gets cold, so i put it up on top of the um heater for three hours and let it rock - and then this is what it looked like two hours into processing get into it. It'S already lifting, oh, it was really great okay. So now we are rinsing everything out um i tried to get as much of the color out as possible. Um, i didn't really wait. Till the water ran clear up until uh was, i think, called when i used the dawn dish soap, because again we have the vaseline on the lace and regular shampoo, don't rinse that out. So i didn't really. I didn't use shampoo yeah. I didn't use shampoo to rinse out the hair dye from um the ion true tones. I didn't use it. I just used dawn, just use dawn and just to make sure that that all the vaseline and the even was out because um last time. I think i just used regular dish soap and that took forever to rinse out. So no, i use that once that specific one all i had to do was two cycles and we were good to go okay so and then um that got rid of the. What'S that thing called the remaining like leftover red diet, i was running through alrighty and then your last step is going to be obviously the colors here, because girl red bleeds. It bleeds like a okay, so you want to make sure that you get your eye on color sealer and then just slather it all over and comb it through, as if it's like a deep conditioner um. I left it in for 30 minutes and then i just rinsed it out, and then that was it so yeah just let it process for 30 minutes so that it can like really seal the color in and then i rinse it out with cold water alrighty and Then this is how she ends up looking into it: she's a bright red girl. Alright. So i really hope you guys enjoyed this video, please just like comment share and subscribe, and i will see y'all next time. Okay, bye, that was
