Hey everyone: it's andrea welcome back to my channel if you're new, welcome and if you're not welcome back now. Today'S video i'm going to show you how i dye my first headband with the color black now in the last video i unboxed the wig for the first time i told you my thoughts. I showed it off all those good things and, if you've not seen that video go ahead and check it out, i will be sure to put the link below now. The wig that i am referring to is this wig here it is by julia's hair, and this is not only my first ever wig, but also my first headband wig before we get to it, don't forget to rate comment and subscribe subscribe. Most importantly, click that button below in order to dye the wig black. Today we are going to be using the l'oreal paris ultimate black natural one color and yes, let's get started all right. All these items come with the die. First and foremost, you need gloves, followed by the color cream, the color gel and the color conditioner pour the color gel into the color cream and then shake vigorously once all shaken up we're ready to begin. I know this looks a little ghetto, but i needed to make sure my counters were protected and i wasn't going to dye all the white countertop around my sink. So that is why i have a trash bag surrounding the sink. Now that that disclaimer is out of the way here, i'm showing you more of the color of the wig, as you can see it's more of a brownish color and it actually looks a little red here which is interesting. Now i'm starting the dyeing process beginning in the front of the wig. You want to make sure that you start in the front, ideally just in case you run out of dye in the back, not gon na lie for a second. I thought i needed a second box, but we didn't need to. I had enough dye to do the entire wig. The total application time for the wig is 25 minutes. You do not want to exceed the 25 minutes, so ideally it will take you about 15 minutes to put in the entire die and then let it sit. The remainder of the 25 minutes, which is exactly what i did one more thing to note, is that, ideally, you want to coat every single strand of hair with the hair dye. I essentially ended up going track by track to make sure i got every single piece of hair time to wash out the dye. Ideally, you want to keep rinsing it out until the water turns clear once the water is almost clear, then it's time to condition the hair we're going to use the conditioner that came with the box, which was number three now ideally you're, not supposed to use the Entire contents of this conditioner, but it's fine and it's a wig. So i don't i'm not going to be washing this every single week because i'm not going to be wearing it every single week. So essentially you will condition the hair. Let it sit for two to three minutes and then rinse it out alright y'all. So, as you just saw, i went ahead and dyed the wig black. It is still wet. This is what it looks like in the wet state. As you can see, it's definitely darker than before, but i'm gon na go ahead and let this air dry, i may also diffuse it and then i'll come back and show you the final result all right y'all. So i just finished drying the hair. I ended up defusing it after all, for the most part, it's pretty much dry. It is damp in some areas, but this is the hair. This is the new and improved wig in a natural jet black color. I absolutely love this hair. I think it's a great shout out to julia hair again, if you want to know everything there is to know about this week, be sure to check out the video in the description box below in that video. I share all of my thoughts on the wig and yeah thanks again for tuning in with me today to watch me turn this hair black.
