#mayvennhair #wigtutorial #wigmaintenence

Hello, everybody. Today, I am going to be showing you how to shampoo and restyle your wig, just like its brand spanking new, I'm going to show you how to get all this body and all just movement in your wig that you had already for so long. A lot of people have been saying that it's kind of hard for them to take care of wigs and they don't really know how to go about watching it and restyling it like how it was when they first got it. So today I'm going to be doing a tutorial on that. The first thing you're going to want to do is to fill up your sink at the house and put it on semi hot water. You don't want it to be burning hot, but you do want to be able to release all the residue I'm just going to be using some regular old, 7 and 1 oz II shampoo. I was running low because I didn't want to like wait for it to get all the way to the bottom to pour out. So I just put water in it: shake it up and then take everything out of the pump and basically just fill up your sink and swish all the shampoo around remember. This is hot water to release up all the residue, and this is the dirty wig that you've been wearing for so long and now you want to wash it so put the wig by itself in the sink with the shampoo in the hot water and you're gon Na dip it in and out and make sure that you're really getting all the hairs and all the scalp area of the wig, massage your hands do the hair wring it out, push it back in dip it in and out of the water swish it around shaking The wig in and out and dipping it in and out of the water, this wig is colored. Of course, if you saw in yesterday's tutorial, I showed you guys how to color this wig and the client had a hard time. You know it's restyling, the wig, so I was like you know what send it back and I will give you a tutorial on how to do that so dip it in and out, then I use shimmering light shampoo just to refresh the lace you guys know to Use you guys know to use purple shampoo to counteract any brassiness and the roots, and when you wash your wig, you want to remember to as well just to kind of give it back that natural scalp color and not have anything brassy, because it does fade over Time, the more you wash it so remember to refresh it with the purple shampoo, then after you dip it in and out, and let the shampoo sit for a bit then wring out that water rinse everything out of the wig as thoroughly as you can just put Your hand under where the closure or the frontal would be, and just rinse in a downward motion rinse inside the wig squeeze it out and when you squeeze it out, lift the rest of the hair up as the water goes out of this sink. That way, you won't be going backwards and putting everything you just rinsed out back in the hair. So we're going to do that all over again warm water, hot water, put the shampoo in the water swish it around, and then I like to put shampoo in the wig cap to really shampoo that as thoroughly as possible, get in between all the tracks dip it. In and out dump out all that water rinse it out and rinse it all over again rinse inside the wig, like it's a bowl, let the water run through it just so. You know that you're really rinsing out. All of that shampoo bring it out and, as you can see, the sink is starting to turn blue from the color saying that we use in yesterday's video. But don't worry all you really need is the bleach and a spray bottle, and it goes away within minutes. So you're not going to ruin your at-home sink, taking the Moroccan oil conditioner, I'm running the conditioner thoroughly through the hair and I'm finger detangling it. Oh then we're gon na go ahead and rinse that out make sure you really detangle the hair in a downward motion. This is the perfect time to get out any kinks if there are any and rinse in a downward motion focus on the top. Until you really feel no more silkiness in the hair, you really want to make sure you are rinsing out all of the conditioner thoroughly Esterly as possible. If you keep your wig in a downward motion, you're gon na really save yourself some time and detangling the hair. So rinse rinse rinse rinse rinse. You want to keep on renting until it's not silky anymore and then I take a paddle brush and I just detangle the hair starting from the ends and work my way up to the top just to make sure you're, not cooling. Any of the hair out and then you're gon na want to wring it out as best as you can. Once I wring it out, I put the wig on the mannequin. I put the parting I would like, and then I lay the baby hairs with some loose and then I comb the hair down and just let it sit like that, and so the baby hairs are done. Like I said in yesterday's video, if you wanted to wear this hair and a loose wave, you can definitely do so after you comb it out just spread the hair out with your fingers like I'm doing right now, and if you want to define the waves, I Would personally use some mousse or some conditioner, regular, conditioner and or mousse and just scrunch up in the hair leaned the weight to the side, leaving the wig to the back, laying the wig to every side possible and scrunch up in the hair? And then, if you really want it more defined, get a cotton t-shirt and scrunch up with your hands in the cotton t-shirt and let it air dry overnight. I have mine set up on my mannequin, I'm just showing you guys how I have the towel down below, because the hair is colored, so the driplets will be blue or pink or red or whatever color. Your wig is so make sure you leave a towel and just let it air dry give yourself a whole night. You don't want to waste your time, blow-drying it so after the hair air-dry. This is what it looked like, and this is. This has absolutely no product whatsoever in the hair. As you can see, it gets fluffy. It'S cute, you can wear it just like this. If you want it to, you, don't have to do the next steps. If you want to wear it in a loose wave or maybe you can wear it in a loose wave like this, and then you know in a week or two you could um Flatiron it. So, as always, you guys know me, I like to do all my partings in a u-shape for the most part, and I do two rows at a time. The trick to getting hair with lots of body is hairspray. Yes, hairspray. I know we're not curling. Today, we're gon na be flat ironing today, but hairspray is literally the secret to getting hair with lots of body and lots of movement. Then I'm taking my carbon comb. It'S a carbon comb is basically heat resistant, so your comb is not going to melt or anything when you do the comb chase method with the flat iron, so a trick with your flat iron, if you're, finding that your flat iron isn't getting as hot as it Used to make sure you turn it off, put it on the low setting turn it back on and let it heat up to the fullest potential of the low setting and then later, when its heat up all the way at the lowest setting possible. Then turn it all the way up to the highest setting and your flat iron and basically be like branded so starting at the top. I'M using a lot of tension, I'm squeezing the flat iron really tight and I'm going all the way down with the comb in front of the flat iron. It'S gon na be crunchy at first just comb through that and then go down once more with the same amount of tension. Squeeze the flat iron go, really really slow and go all the way to the ends with the comb in front of the flat iron. That'S called the comb chase method is going to help you to get the best smoothest, straightest Flatiron possible, just because all the strands are aligned with each other. The rest of this is going to be sped up. You could do it in the same hand, you could do an opposite like this, but yeah hairspray. That'S the trick, guys! That'S the trick to laying down all the flyaways all the little hairs that stick up throughout the bundles. You use hairspray as you flat iron it and hairspray as you curl it now. I'M just gon na speed up the rest of this now that you guys see how I've done it with that whole first section, the hair has lots of movement lots of body, and this is gon na make your wig feel like it's brand spanking new and I Haven'T used anything in this hair but hair spray, so you really don't need serums, you don't need oils, I mean if you have really damaged hair. You might need that, but with the hair that I provide in the description box below, you really won't need much product. The hairspray to be honest and a little mousse, so, as you can see, I have done two big subsections. This is about four rows of hair. It has lots of movement, lots of body and it's super silky straight. So if you guys don't know, I have a brother who is a singer and he is an openly gay pop singer from the Bay Area in California and the music that I've been playing. In the background of my videos, lately has been his original music. I will leave his music down below and you guys can hear his music. He sings about his boyfriend. He sings sings about past experiences with boys and yeah. He'S just amazing - and I just want to tell everybody about his music - so enjoy the music as the rest of the video plays. I will have slo-moes at the end and pop in and out for more tips and tricks, but until then here is Princeton banana feed. Please here's a tip for holding the flat iron and the comb at the same time is I hold the flattering like normal, and then I put my middle finger out to it, makes it easier to pinch the pigs. At the other hand, when you do the Conan - I I that's my new, I can't I can't love him more than myself. I can't, and I love myself, give it travel and to spirit yeah. Yes to love, yes to no! No, no! Take this greatness to man. Guess I'll see you later so super stuffy and super straight any head turn in the neck roll and you attitude in anything you anytime, we lose. The hair is going to when you're ironing style it like this and wash it. The main key to shampoo in your weight units is to really thoroughly shampoo it thoroughly rinse it everything you do has to be thorough. That is the major key, but thank you so much for watching. I am so excited for the daily episodes so make sure you are subscribe. Thanks, guys see you tomorrow, your touch came by so going back.
