Bleaching Wig Gone Wrong?! | The Perfect Fall Color | Hj Weave Beauty

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel in this video i'll, be showing y'all how i got this hair, this gorgeous color, so yeah. If you want to see how i slayed this wig, then just keep watching. So this is the wig. Oh, my gosh! This is the prettiest box that i've ever seen now. I'Ve had hair from them before, but they definitely upgraded on the boxes. Oh by the way, i did my nails last night they're not finished, though they also have these cute bags. Now i love bags like this because they're reusable and they just protect your wig, like really good, so we're gon na see what we got in here. This is a 24 inch um curly wig i'll have the info on it on the screen, but it came with. Oh yes, so it came with the rat tail comb, the good one, the good rat tail comb, a wig cap and also one of those good clips, and then it also came with the straps. Just in case you might want to insert some straps onto the wig. So that's very convenient so now, let's check out the wig. Okay! Yes, look at this, so y'all. What we gon na do today is bleach this hair. We are gon na bleach, this hair and we're gon na dye. It like a ginger type of color and see how the bleach takes to this hair so yeah. This is how it looks before super duper. Soft doesn't stink at all, it's not shedding, so i think we're gon na have a good time with this. So yesterday i went to the hair store and i spent 60 dollars on hair stuff. If you watch my um how to bleach knots video, then you know that i have this big bucket of bleach powder that i had before, but i had to re-up because i was running out. You'Re gon na need a lot of bleach powder and developer. If you want to bleach a whole wig and then i got 20 and 40 volume developers, i think i might just use the 20 because i really don't need it that light, because i'm a diet, um orange after anyway. So i think i'm going to stick with this one. The dye i got is cajun spice, so i'm gon na do the watercolor method. With this yeah. I think i'm gon na bleach the knots first and then i'm gon na start dyeing the hair, and in this case it really won't matter. If you get bleach on the hair, we bleach the knots because we're gon na be bleaching the whole wig so okay, so i put the bleach on the knots um and honestly. I was gon na wait to do this. Well, i was gon na. Do this rinse? It and then start dyeing the wig, but i think i'm just start dyeing the wig now, because i'm just impatient, i really don't feel like waiting, and i would like for all of this to be done like around the same time. So we can move on to the next step, so yeah, i might just start putting bleach all over this. I don't even know how i'm gon na do it. So i'm about to put the wig like right here in my chair. I have a chair right here. I'M about to put it in my chair and um. I put this bag over it so but yeah i might have just put the wig right here. Put my gloves on and dye it. I'M gon na try to show like some of it as i'm doing it, but it's hard to kind of put the camera where y'all can see where i'm doing it at. Does it really matter if this batch of bleach is a little bit more watery, because i mean it's actually better that way, so it can like spread around easier, so i'm just putting more to 20 volume developer, just mixing it up. I probably should have used so so i just got out the shower. I took my braids out y'all. So if you watched my video before this, i had braids in i needed this wig to lay flat because it's bomb. This is how it looks um yeah about to just install it, i'm going to do an updated like install video, but this is really just to show y'all how the curls took to the bleach and it's still pretty like curly or whatever, but yeah i'm about to Um install this and then do my makeup and then i'll be back. So this is how my hair is looking um like i said, the curls are very loose um, but i still really really like the hair. I actually kind of like it like this, because it's not going to be too puffy but yeah. I just wet it and i put a whole bunch of foam wrap in it. So it can keep like the wet crinkly look but yeah i'm about to go out tonight and be real cute get lit or whatever this is probably um. My favorite wig at the moment. I love how this color looks on my skin tone. It'S honestly bald, the color looks good like with the bleach and everything, but the only thing is that it did loosen the curls. I did actually condition the wig after i bleached it, so it would be like all brittle, so it's still really really soft. It'S not tangling or any of that yeah. The only thing is that the curls loosened a lot, but i honestly think when i was dyeing the hair, because the way i was bleaching it, i kind of did like a terrible job. I didn't section it. I was just putting bleach on it any anywhere, so some sections had like a lot more bleach on it than other sections, so i think the wig was starting to like fry. I don't know but like when i had like a lot of bleach on there. It was starting to like sizzle like i didn't, see, smoke or anything, but i was hearing like little sizzling sounds. I was like okay um and it did feel really hot. So, like okay, i'm just rinsing out, but at that time i didn't have all of the bleach. So, as you can see, i didn't bleach all of this up here when i rinse that bleach out, i put a little bit more bleach over like the darker spots that i did see, but i was just like okay, i'm not going to keep wasting bleach so Yeah, i did it like this and this how it came out, so it's kind of like a lot of different tones, but i like it like that, i feel like it makes it look a lot more natural but yeah. This is how i look thank you to hj weave beauty for this wig, i'm so like honestly, i'm so pressed that i bleach this wig, because this is something i probably would have been too scared to do, but i actually did it and it came out cute.
