Hey hey, my name is sierra and welcome to my channel of posh life by the cover you can see that this is a highlighting video starting off. I'M showing you what products i'm using. If you don't catch all of the products, don't worry because i'll have it all linked in the description but starting off. Let'S get into this intro, you don't have to love me. You love me, you don't even have to like me, but you will respect me. You know why you know why, because i'm a boss, all right so jumping straight into the video i will be using the blonde me brand bleach in their 30 volume developer. So i used two scoops of the bleach and then just poured the developer until i reached a creamy consistency. So it's not too runny not too thick to where i can just apply it onto the hair evenly and then for the highlights. I'M only going to be coloring the closure so once i start you'll see that i'm sectioning horizontally and then i'll color and then i'll section again horizontally and skip that piece and then section again color, and i just keep repeating that until i have three folds of The colored hair all right so now, since we're done with the third floor for the front part of the closure, turn your unit around and we're going to do the highlighting in the back. So to do this. You'Ll go ahead and take part of the hair from the closure and about two or three tracks underneath it as well, and for this section we're going to do the weaving method so just going in and out, and we're going to highlight that here and we're doing That, because we want the highlights to be visible, all the way around so after that that'll be the last part, you'll go ahead and let this process for about 30 to 45 minutes till it reaches the desired level that you're looking for once that's done. I went ahead and washed it out off camera. I didn't use any shampoo or anything because now we're about to do the bleach bath. So that way we can have this brown base. So i did use the clairol um bleach as well as some clairol 20 volume developer. I use a low developer because i didn't want it to process too fast. Just go ahead and saturate your wig. Let that sit in there, and so i did let this sit for about 45 minutes and you want to keep coming back to check on it. So that way, it doesn't lift too fast once that is done, went ahead and washed it out, and then so i am going to use some neutralizing shampoo to make sure i get all of the residue all of that bleach and residue out of the wig, and I did that until the subs turned a white color, so once you see me start shampooing, you'll notice that there's like a pink tint to the shampoo and anytime, you see a pink cast, a pink anything! That'S how you know that you still have residue. That'S still left in your wig, so you want to always make sure that you wash it at least twice and differently until them. So it's turned white all right. So once we finish with the neutralizing shampoo, i'm going to go in with my aussie moist shampoo and shampoo the hair, and then i also use their brand for the conditioner, and i let that condition for about 25 minutes y'all. This brand is the absolute best you can get it from walmart and any local store kroger. This stuff is the truth like if you have a wig that you just need to revamp check out this product. This product is the best and it's real inexpensive as well. So again i'll, let that sit for about 25 minutes and now that's done we'll go ahead and rinse it out and now i'm about to start the customizing phase of this unit. So i did want to have like the natural hairline effect with the baby hairs. For my wigs - and this is one of my wigs - i only wear baby hairs on the sides so starting out, i'm gon na go ahead and pluck my hairline. If you want to learn how to pluck, i do have classes available feel free to check out my website if you are interested in booking a one-on-one class, where we teach where i do teach how to customize units. So going back to the video just plucking, the hairline went ahead and sectioned out my baby hairs continue plucking and then now i'm just about to cut those baby hairs mow the hairline down, and i let this go under the dryer until it was dry. The hairline was molded and dry and then i let it air dry overnight, so moving on promoting after it's molded overnight and air dry. This is what the unit looks like and you can really see the color, and this color is so pretty so going on to the styling part. I am using my slipstick that is available on my website. I'Ll have the information in the bio as for hot combs, i'm using the hot comb for one of my wig sisters, her name is desire i'll link, her information in the description as well. So, just you know hot comb in the hairline the sides pressing that down, because it's flat wigs only and it's just period, point blank okay. So as for styling, i always use a heat protectant. I do also sell a heat protectant in my polishing spray. It'S called the silkeny mist and i only use my products when it comes to styling my wigs, so you will see the silkening mist and this looks slick stitch a whole lot on my channel but yeah. I wanted some body curls for this unit and i use a wand curl, as you can tell, but the way that i wrap my curls is the reason why it doesn't look like a typical wine curl. So this part is just pretty much. You know self-explanatory. I'M just styling my wig and then once i get done with each section, i go ahead and use the sebastian shaper holding spray. I really do like this spray because it doesn't leave the hair all crunchy and hard like typical hairsprays do, but it does leave it with a nice hold. So yeah, that's pretty much the end of this video. Thank you for watching. If you have made it this far, please subscribe to my channel comment like share with a friend, and let me know if you have any suggestions for another video that you would like to see.

Humbly Touched: Definitely learned something new! What an easy way to highlight your unit. I never thought of doing the bleach bath AFTER the highlighted section lifted. Seems much less of a headache and less time consuming!

K Golden: This came out BEAUTIFUL ❤️

Chasity Knight: Those wand curls turned out so nice. Possibly do a video showing that technique?

Tina Miller: This was very interesting. Thanks for sharing
