Impulsively Dying My Natural 4C Hair Copper Red For The First Time | *No Bleach*| 2022

What'S up beautiful people, it's your girl here, katie j back at it again with another video! Now today we are going to be making an impulsive decision. Okay, you hear me we are going to make an impulsive decision. I'Ve always wanted to let my hair red, like burgundy and today is the day we are doing it. It'S happening, it's happening y'all, so i'm gon na show you guys the product that i got from the store and without further ado. Let'S begin so, i got me these two hair dye loyal high color, and i got me two bucks of these in the color copper. I got me these brushes as well, so i can mix the dye and i have this little bowl dirty volume developer, which i couldn't get the 40, but i feel like 30 is like better than the 40.. So that means some gloves. Y'All now mind you. I have black drops in the house, but i feel like these are better. I don't know why but yeah. So i got me these gloves. It was probably like nine something. This is my very first time dyeing my hair, so i don't know what to expect. I don't know if it's gon na look good on me, ciao, i'm excited and nervous at the same time, but i'm ready to dye my hair because i always wanted to dye my hair and i feel like this is a new start and like it's 20 22. You know new year new me well not new me, but you know new hair color period. So like comment and subscribe for more video from me, let's get into this video. So this is the die. Here'S the other day you got ta open, uh brushes, so we're gon na use this to mix the dye. Let'S go ahead and put our gloves right now, i'm really trying to get the color out of the bottle and y'all. When i'm telling you it's really hard like to get the color out of the bottle, it's like excruciating, you know. Why am i doing this in my bedroom y'all to answer the question is because that's why we have the best lighting yo? One thing i hate is willing direction, but i hate direction. It'S like i'm a visual person like i need to see how you do it in order for me to do it right, we're also making a tic-tac-toe okay. So we got that pot out. Why is it orange? Oh, my gosh, maybe i put too much of the developer. I honestly don't know what i'm doing so, i'm putting more developer on it just enough. So this how much i put on it. The reason i'm doing this color is, i feel, like my hair, been black for the longest. It'S a new year, i'm trying to explore, and you know trying to do different things and see what i like and what i don't like. Like i'm, the type of person i get bored is, i see my black hair every single day like i'm getting bored of it. So that's why i was like girl. It'S time for change. We got ta change that up and you know, get a different color and see if you like it, the one thing that could happen. Is you don't like it? On the other hand, you could like it, you know, and it come out good so and if i don't like it, i can always dye my hair black. I think the consistency is very gorgeous, so i think i'm gon na stop pushing that part. I really don't know how to feel about this ain't. No going back. I don't know if i'm liking this, it has a really strong smell. Okay, maybe two boxes was enough all depending on how thick your hair is. You might just need, like four boxes, two or three boxes, because my hair is, i wouldn't say it's really thick, but it's not thin either. It'S giving me brown rather than the red that i was looking for. You know i still haven't touched my edges, yet we are going to do the second box of dyes. You know how this be like. Oh, if a girl dyed her hair, she probably going through it, i think i'm going to it y'all. I think this is the face. This is my face like right now this is my red hair face and i think i'm going through it. To be honest, am i going to it? Maybe, but it's okay, though it's okay for you to go through it once in a while. You know that's how you got ta, find yourself and figure out what you like, what you don't like, etc. I first had got me the magenta colors and i was watching some tic tac. I was like uh uh. This color looked too fake, it's not really natural. Looking so i went back to the store and got me the ginger color, which i originally wanted, but i don't know when i was purchasing it. I didn't. I don't know why i didn't read the label. I thought it was. Everything was the same thing, but no it's. It has a labor way, it's the same box, but you got to read the label that said magenta, red, um, copper, etc. We'Re gon na add the volume developer right now. Basically, we are doing the same thing like we did on the last one. Did you see my leg, trying to hold the ball to do the tic tac? It'S really sad what people got ta do for the internet, but you know if you're doing it for fun. It really do not matter do whatever you want as long as you're not harming nobody, and it's not hauling, you do what you want do with this. Don'T worry about what nobody has to say because you doing you as you should yeah i'ma, just slap it in i'm, not even gon na use the brush. To be honest, i forgot to mention i put the hair dye on dirty hair, so i haven't washed my hair for like three weeks: let's go ahead and set a timer for 30 minutes. Oh i'm doing the tic-tac-toe, so the timer is up, and this is how my hair is looking like. Oh my god i feel like i die. Oh, i should have put some oil in front of my edges. If you want to follow my technique before, you actually put the hair dye, make sure you like put some oil in front of your edges like the actual hair. So that way, your skin does not get the dye, so this is after 30 minutes. This is the hair y'all, it's looking real cute, so i'm gon na go ahead and wash my hair and i'm gon na come back for the final product and show y'all we're back all right y'all. So this is the finished product, as you guys can see. I'M looking myself right here in the mirror and what i'm telling you i'm loving this i'm loving it. My hair is kind of wet right now, so it's not giving its full potential, but was my hair dry or whatever coming from a basic black to you know spicy red spicy whey. The only thing i'm missing right now is my eyebrow and my lashes. If i had these done, it would have been over but yeah. This is the hair y'all seen it you'll see me this is the final product.
