$70 Burgundy Wig Install In 5 Minutes *Beginner Friendly*

38. push it hi, guys welcome back to my channel, so i'm going to be showing you how i installed this lace wig. I got this wig off for amazon too, so another cheap and affordable wig, but very, very good quality. I customized this wig off camera um. It came like black and i bleached it did the knots and watercolored it read off camera, so i'm just going to be showing you guys, step by step, how i installed it. So i'm just brushing my edges back without gel and blow drying it. Okay, second step is i'm just fitting the wig cap to my head, making sure it fits and it's tight enough and then i'm going to cut a hole by my ear. For my arrow that way, the wig cap can glue down. Keep my wig cap intact. I use ghastly spray uh, the freeze spray, so i'm just gon na spray that all around the hairline i do two layers, so i use one layer. First, let that get hard and then i go over it again with the second layer. Make sure you get your sides, so everything is, you know, froze down glue down, okay, so i'm just cutting off all the excess from the wig cap, so it can lay down either powder foundation or concealer onto my wig cap. Just so, it matches up nice with the lace either or works. Oh my god, so i had a dilemma with this wig. So, as you can see like in the front, there's a little like ball spot or whatever. So i don't know what happened with the bleach or some type of reaction. When i was bleaching it, it literally like took a chunk of hair out from just that part. I don't know where i went wrong, but just watch how i finish it. I'M just going across on my forehead with alcohol just to clear up any like oils that may be on my skin. That way, you know the glue sticks nice by the way y'all. I literally filmed this video over two years ago, like during the lockdown during coven, and i'm just now uploading it. So forgive me if i'm like scrambled or if i'm not clear on certain spots, because, honestly, i don't even remember step by step exactly how i installed this, i'm just literally going off photographic memory, these videos and putting it together. I did two layers of glue and i'm gon na blow dry it until it's clear once that glue is clear, you're going to lay your wig down um i like to use the end of a comb to lay the lace down onto the wig cap. Also, when i lay my wig down, i like to go over it again, like the hairline with gots to be freeze spray and then put my scarf on and let that sit and dry for about 30 minutes. That way, it's melted into my scalp and then i come back like i'm doing now doing the baby hairs. Okay. So this is the finished. Look uh, keep in mind. I, like bleached, um, pluck the knots colored the hair. I did everything off camera, but i'm going to put everything that i use to get this color in the description box. Like i said before, i had that little dilemma with the wig in the beginning. I think i like over bleached it and then plus when i was plucking it. It was already weak. So i made that little bald spot right there, but i finessed it and i made it work. I did a little side part and it worked. It was giving this is honestly one of my favorite styles. Besides, when i wear curly hair uh, this wig was so nice. I didn't have any issues with it, as y'all can see like the texture was really nice, it's so bouncy. It has so much volume to it. It didn't shed. I had no issues with this hair. Besides the over bleaching issue, which i think was just on my account, if y'all do not sleep on amazon, wigs, oh my god, i got some of the best quality hair from amazon.
