Ombré Fall Hair Color On A 28” 613 Wig | Ft. Melanin Minx

Me hey guys, so i'm back and i'm going to be showing you guys how i achieve this fall inspired wig using the watercolor method. So these are all the colors that i use today we're going to be using one of my 28 inch, 613 body wave wigs. I was going to do something for a customer. It did not turn all right went ahead and gave her a refund, and i was like you know what we're going to do something else with this wig. So this is the way that i'm going to be using. It looks a little rough, but just just bear with me. Okay, this is the bin that i use and i use hot water from the faucet. I don't boil my water. I just feel like it's not necessary, especially since my water for my faucet gets pretty hot. All right y'all, so i couldn't decide which color i wanted to use. I don't know if i wanted to go for a yellow or more of a mustard look, so i just mixed it. I used one of each as you could tell. I used a little bit of ginger, but i ended up using the entire thing, so i used one of each mix. It together, real good. You want to make sure you mix it real good, because you don't want the color to be blotchy. I believe, that's how you say it, but you just want to mix it all in real good and then i just went ahead and started dipping the wig in at first. I was only going to focus on the top of the wig and i'm like i might as well just dip the whole wig in, because i want to make sure that it gets everywhere. This is a very thick wig. This is a 180 density. My 180 density 613 wigs are extremely thick, so i just had to get it all in there to make sure that the color got everywhere foreign. So once i was finished with the first color, i went ahead in with the cajun spice and it's going to be the second color. I really love how this wig turned out. Y'All, just just wait, foreign foreign all right. So this is what the color was looking like. So far, you get that mustard, look going into that cajun spice and now we're going to use the rich amber. So it's like a reddish brown color love that so that's what i went ahead and used for the last color. Now, when i do these type of videos, i like to remind anyone - that's like a beginner beginner to make sure you're using a sulfate, free, shampoo and conditioner when you're washing wigs out that you're coloring, especially watercolor, especially when it's not a permanent color. You want to make sure you're using a sulfate free, shampoo, so you're not stripping that color, because obviously you want to wash the wig until the water runs clear, but normally, if you don't use a sulfate free, shampoo, you're, always going to end up seeing water, i Mean die in the water when you're washing a wig out, so it's like you're never going to get it to run clear because since it's not sulfate free, it's literally stripping the color as you're washing it. So just a little tip, and this is how she turned out looking real cute y'all, the camera is not doing it justice, but you guys get you get it you get it so i went ahead and started to pluck. I pluck my wigs when it's wet. It'S just so much easier for me um. This was just a little bit of a plucking session that i showed you guys um and then once i pluck it, i did let it air dry overnight and then i went in and flat ironed it.
