How To: Shego Inspired Skunk Stripe | Wand/Pin Curls Ft. Alipearl Hair

Hey you guys welcome back to my channel, it's ty aka goodland by ty and i'm back with another video, so child, please ignore my dirty trifling. Hair is one of them days. We got ta, do our hair okay. So if you guys can see my little intro and the title yes we're doing another skunk stripe, but this one's up with a skunk stripe with like a little bit of spice okay um, this hair is from ali pearl. These are all the little goodies that they gave me um child. That wig cap was a little too dark for my black ass, but anyway um. Yes, so this is what it's looking like. The wig is so bomb you guys. Why don't? I show it wait. Wait! A minute look: look there we go so it is a small cap, size um. I believe it's a 22 or 24 inch everything um everything for like details and all that will be linked down below in the description so make sure. I make sure y'all check that out um but yeah. It is a body wave. It'S super thick now it already came with like a brownish brownish caramel-ish skunk stripe, but i'm going to show you guys how to transform all that. So do not worry about it, but if you do buy this wig just keep in mind that it is going to come with its own. So from there you can do whatever you want. This is just what i did. Okay, so to start this hair project off. I'M going to be parting, um that skunk stripe or the blonde out now. This is not exactly how i did my skunk stripe. I did my skunk stripe all the way from the beginning of the lace to the back of the lace. They did it more of like a side strip, um, so yeah i mean i would have liked to have more hair in the skunk stripe, but i mean this worked perfectly and yeah. It was kind of hard to party, but you know just do your best at the end of the day, we're going to be bleaching this again. So if you do get some black streaks in there, they'll turn blind anyway, alright, so the products that i'm gon na be using is obviously a plastic cup, because i'm just ghetto um, but i'm using the brilliance blonde lightener. Now this is well. I believe this will get you nine um levels high. So for those of you that don't talk, hair um, it basically means that it will go up nine shades. Okay. So basically, this turns your hair like blonde blonde um. If need be, i'm gon na be using 30 volume developer and i am just mixing it in a little plastic cup and then i'm taking my little like hair tool and mixing it up. I'M not measuring, but i do not want it to be too thick, like toothpaste, um, i kind of wanted more like pancake consistency or um yeah. Just like pancake consistency. I can't think of anything else, but you guys see it a little bit runnier than pk consistency. Maybe um but yeah i'm starting on the ends. Of course, as you can see, i did take aluminum foil, more gloves and all that just be sure you do that. Another tip that when you are applying bleach or anything like that, you're going to be really really careful because you want to saturate the hair completely. So take your time do not rush through it make sure you get every single strand now now that my um my ends are: what's it called and i'm struggling with this man again, but anyway, um yeah. Now that my ends are saturated, i'm gon na obviously wrap them up in foil and start with my root. The mid shaft is the last thing that i do so. The middle of the hair is the last thing i do um and the reason why i do this is because, as y'all can see, the root kind of started with like a darker brown and then it turned into the blonde. So the ends obviously are going to be um lifting higher and then the roots are going to be lifting higher and then the mid chaff is going to lift all together. But i wanted to do this in sections just because i seen that the root was a little bit darker, so yeah, that's what y'all should be doing right now, um and then that was one of my shades. So i didn't even use that much bleach. To be honest with you guys, but yeah, i'm just applying that completely through making sure that every strand is being coated, because i don't want no patches or anything like that. You want this to completely lift all together and evenly at that. So just take your time. Okay, so once i am completely finished and i feel like everything is saturated, i did go ahead and let this sit for about 10-15 minutes. I kept checking checking up on it because i did use 30 volume developers, so it's going to get there faster, but once everything was done, i used my shimmer lights. Purple shampoo and washed it out to get rid of any of that. Um, like the yellow tones in it, i know i haven't even come on here and really talk to y'all, like that, like i really should but yeah i went to the beach supply store and i just took a trip there and i'm like all right. Let me show them what i got because i think my turn this into something else. Okay, so i can't be too loud, my baby's asleep, so i got me a bonnet yeah. You see it. I got me some hair clips because i'm gon na be curling her. I need voluminous curls. I need big layers, all that you know what i mean now the two dies that i got that i'm going to be working with. I'M excited so i got kiss the neon, green and, of course, disco in there and then for the rest. I just got a regular jet. Black and y'all know what it's giving she go. It'S giving she go. Skunk stripe, it's giving money first things. First, i'm gon na part, even though i kind of already did it but um, because i went to the beauty supply store. This is dry now, so i parted it, and this is going to be green, of course, and this is going to be, it was really hard to party like the way this wig came and i still even feel like i'm, not even comfortable with the parting, like What is going on, like i don't know, i can't get it to be all the way correct, but regardless y'all get the picture. Okay, you get the point, i'm nervous on the lowest of keys, so i'm gon na start by parting. It like this because right here is the lace uh hold on. Let me try this. This is basically where our frontal is, so the lace is right here, so you definitely want to be very careful. I think i don't remember what video it is. Oh, my god, i don't know, i hope it come up um. I think it was in my how to add dark roots to blonde hair video, where i basically show you guys how to you know, add dark roots without staining the lace or doing anything like that. So yeah also, i should be wearing gloves right now, but you see, i don't know where the other gloves are like. I don't know, so we're just going to do this and i'm literally hand painting. This is what you call hand painting on a wig. I love hand painting i'm going to speed this up, so y'all are not just sitting here, bored watching me paint and then i'll come back once i'm ready to just let everything in the green sit and tie it down with some aluminum foil. Let this sit like this for a little bit. I up y'all, i up so i up. Oh my god. I hope it don't stain my lace, i'm probably about to wash this out, i'm getting nervous. I'M probably gon na leave it in there for like five ten minutes and then i'm gon na wash it out. Ah, hopefully it don't stain the lace. If it do, i think i have a method that can get it off. I think i'm not sure. Don'T quote me, but i'm gon na try i'm gon na try, everything and yeah. I want this to be black. I don't want it to be brown, it's giving like a 1b. I want to check black, so i'm going to do that. Um, i'm going gon na hand, paint the sides, of course, and the root and everything and then watercolor the rest, but yeah for right now we're just waiting on this and then i'll come back to y'all, but i'm ready to do everything else really quickly. I wanted to show you guys it did not stain my lace, it stained my mannequin head for sure, but it didn't stain my lace. Okay, so, like i mentioned before, if you guys see me adding my dark roots onto blonde hair, it's the same technique that i'm using, but now i'm taking the adore jet black and i'm separating exactly where the parts gon na be black um. I was kind of nervous about this because i heard like some blacks had like green undertones blue undertones. It'S just all these bushes, so i just was very cautious about which black i used, but i am going to hand paint first make sure that i get into um all of the roots of the hair. Take my comb gon na go through it and separate each section. You guys will see, but um yeah, i'm being very, very, very careful not to get this onto the lace, because if i get this on his lace, it's definitely gon na stain. It ain't like the green, it's gon na stain this place because it's black so be very careful. Okay, take your time in this bowl, i got hot water and i'm gon na do the watercolor butter for the rest of the hair. Let me take these clips out. Um using the same hair dye, i pray like this doesn't have like green undertones because then it's gon na look weird. I'M gon na pour literally the rest of the bottle, because the hair is 180 density and this thicker than a snicker imma just yeah. I need a dark, so let me just start dipping it in dipping it dipping it. I'M gon na stand up and just pour this up some i'm probably gon na look at that lace and i need bleach not yet so what i'm gon na do right now is i'm gon na. Let this sit for a little bit, but i'm gon na be very strategic about how i let this sit. Okay, yeah put that glove right up there, good yeah, just let it let it marinate good morning. It is the next morning and look assists. We did a thing, we did a thing. We did a big thing here: okay, so um. I think the last thing you'll see me do was uh watercolor. The black came out perfectly chef's kiss okay. So this is what the green looks like and not even gon. Na hold y'all, i did go back in with the green, the neon green and i just did the roots again because they were kind of like blondish. I think that's for me bleaching the knots, because i did bleach the knots, but after i did the knots i went back into the green just a little bit, nothing od. It was just only at the root so and this is what it's looking like it's giving. She go very much um, but yeah. I did cut some like long layers in her. It'S nothing extreme. You guys like nothing extreme. I just wanted her to have more body so that we could style her. I'M going to be doing some wand, curls voluminous wand, curls, slash, pin, curls almost um and yeah. I'M gon na do that. First before i install the wig taking my hot comb and i'm gon na just flatten everything out, let's just yeah. Let'S start by doing it honestly, like honestly, it was kind of nervous because the patch of blonde was like almost like a honey blonde like it wasn't platinum at all, as y'all can tell so. I was kind of nervous that when i threw the neon on there, it was gon na turn like into a greenish yellowish color, and i was like oh hell. No, but you know everything worked out ciao. I know i look crazy. My way is probably raspy as hell, but it's probably like seven o'clock in the morning and i'm up so i was like well. Let me finish this video, because i definitely want to install this wig today. I'M tired of looking like this okay. What i'm gon na do right now is i'm gon na take this. I don't even know what brand this is by i'm. So sorry, i'm horrible, but i believe it's a one inch curling wand barrel, thingy, i'm gon na. Take this i'm gon na heat it up. In the meantime, i'm gon na start parting, my hair, so that i could go on the head and do the curl. I don't want the curls to be too tight um because that's a no bueno, but i don't want them all right come on. I hear what i'm doing here and the hair ain't doing. What i wanted to do like put yourself in this clip, i'm gon na, be curling upward if that makes sense or away from the face. So this is me curling up, it is upward, but it's also away from the face. Now, if you were to curl downward, you would be curling towards the face. This is her. That'S her face you're going towards it. I'M going to be curling away from the face or up so i'm going to take my curling iron and i'm just gon na roll it around like so and we're gon na hold it there yeah your arm is gon na hurt, but i mean i mean you: Can always isolate it? I'M just gon na make sure that, like every section that i take is at least one inch. Oh, that hurt. This is what it looks like, don't mind it. We'Re gon na, take it and wrap it around our finger roll it up. Take a clip: stick it inside boom. Oh wait! Okay um! I might need to use two clips for each curl at this point. Boom looks crazy. I really don't care taking it again going up. Let me show y'all one more time. Digging it going up or away from the face. Okay now you can hold it like this, but eventually it's just gon na be looking like that. Okay, okay, so i'm gon na just curl this one right back up how it was bring it up, hold the middle part and stick my clip through the middle feel me. Okay, now i'm gon na take a little baby clip or the two from take a two prong and stick it really sweet so go hold. It boom two curls down a couple more to go. I'M gon na speed this process up so that i'm not just sitting here showing y'all how to do it, but basically every curl, i'm gon na be going up or away from the face. You can go down towards the face whatever, but just keep in mind that the curl is going to come out a little bit different than if you were to do it away from the face or up don't speed this up and i'll come back to you. This is where it gets a little bit different okay, because we are creating that nice, like that swoop. Almost i can't really explain it. Y'All just don't have to see it um, so i'm gon na start by curling. This like this first okay, because i wanted to have that hump in it like i want it to be very okay, get it like. Like a hump, i don't know now, y'all see what i'm talking about. Y'All see how the hair is going up, wait up and then around that's that's the curl. I want okay, so i'm gon na cut this into two pieces. The back piece really doesn't matter, it's all about the front, so yeah, i'm gon na hold it now. It'S time for this very important okay, so you see how already it's going like this. It'S gon na be real hard to turn that into this, so i'm not gon na start directly at the root i kind of want to leave the root, exactly how it is. Okay and matter of fact, i'm gon na put a pin right here cuz. I really want it to stay, how it is yep, just like that, and now we're gon na work with this little section same thing, i'm curling away from her face. I'M sorry! If i look all crazy with my arms but boom, you know i ain't gon na leave it on here too long because, like i said, the green is chemically processed hair but and i'm not gon na put it too close to the lace, because i just remembered That i still have to install this wig like this, is not just how we gon na leave it, but i mean yeah and clip it just like that. Just like that, just like that this is what it's looking like, so i'm just taking these down. Hopefully, oh lord, hopefully everything is okay and we got everything together. Okay, oh y'all, can't see, but oh the balance on that was nice um yeah. So let me talk a little bit about the hair. Ciao 10 out of 10 would recommend 10 out of 10 would recommend, and especially the density. I believe this is 180 density and it's perfect. It is perfect, like it's thick enough to do anything with it's not hard to straighten like it's, not that bad. It'S not! That big, i'm actually really proud of this unit for referral, because i thought it was going to come out, not the color. I wanted not anything that i wanted. I thought that i was really gon na have to sit here and fight this hair to do something. Ciao, no, it didn't give me the whole problem. It takes color very well um, so far, no shedding no tangling, nothing like od um. So far, so good like um. I'M happy! Oh wait! Let me take this off see here. Let me show y'all. Okay, all right! Oh all right, this is just what it looks like regular before i even like brush anything out. Do anything. I'M gon na go get a round brush all right, so i have a round brush and i'm literally just rolling it out, i'm nervous and yet excited at the same time. Okay hold on hold on wait a minute omg, that's so cute. I think it's safe to say today's hair project was a super success. It is super cute. Oh, let's see if the bang is gon na bang, how i wanted it. Oh all right hold on. Let me just fix the side up a little bit. There we go. Oh, you guys, oh my goodness. I think i'm gon na see a fruit loops bird. Oh my god. I did not expect this to be like this and i'm in love like i'm in love. Yes, this is this little part right here. That'S bugging me, but i mean, if need be, we will pin it back. Okay, mentally i'm gon na, be here for the next month. Okay, oh, like look at the curls, oh my god, it's giving very much ashigo inspired skunk stripe. I love it. Oh my god!
