I refreshed my hair, so I thought I'd make a tutorial on how I get this gorgeous light pastel lavender shade! using my hair color line, Arctic Fox Hair Color!

Hey there welcome to my channel today's video is all about refreshing. This shining, my carpets, clean over here cuz, the dog peed on the couch and my Yelp quotes rollin in today's video. I'M gon na show you how to get to this gorgeous hair color. In the beginning, this video, I had a basically a faded version of this. Before I went this color period with my hair, I had dark roots that are about like this long, so my hair stylist lightened those up, but some of the parts because we don't want to like fry my hair off we're like more of a yellowy shade, whereas My extensions were white white white, so we had some darker parts in here that were a little more on the yellowy side. So I will show you how to do this a little bit of a darker root and get this shade using my hair color line arctic fox, which is vegan and cruelty free, and we also donate 15 % of our profits to three different animal charities and the Newest of which is animal hope and wellness, so hopefully you enjoy this video and enjoy my tips and tricks on how to get this shade. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite hair color is. If you could have absolutely anything, what would it be? First, we're gon na create the darker shade. That'S gon na go on the more blonde parts of my hair. I like to start with Arctic mist as a base just to make sure that it is as light as we like I'm adding a little bit of periwinkle. And then I'm gon na go in with a little bit of girls night, which is our nice lavender. And then I'm going to add a touch of purple rain. Just to give this the depth that we like to cover those stubborn, yellow or blonde pieces mix this up and then we're going to move on to the more pastel shade for the rest of the hair. Starting off with a big base of Arctic mist, our treat messes are diluted, so it will make any shade. Lighter then went in with some girls night periwinkle and now adding in a little bit more Arctic mist cuz this shade it can get real dark, real, quick and we want to keep it as light as possible to keep a nice light. Lavender shade gon na it's. This baby up - and you guys, can always swatch this out on a white paper towel, like I'm doing here, just to make sure that your shades are on point and exactly how you want them before you get started, and now that we've masterfully created our shades. We are ready to apply to the hair. As you can see, there are some yellow pieces in the hair. This is what we are going to be putting the darker shade on don't forget the zig Laos thanks mom for the super spiffy t-shirt, I'm starting off with a darker purple, shade that we created to paint over the more blond areas and then I'm gon na follow That up with the pastel shade on the rest of the hair and just really taking small small sections and working this in super well, because our tick box is so conditioning for your hair. It is a quite thick formula and you need to work in small sections. I repeat: small sections really work this stuff into the hair. Purple is a fantastic option if you have any yellow in your hair because it does multitask as a toner as well. So it's a little better of an option, as opposed to trying to go like a pastel blue, which blue and yellow makes green. Now that the hard part is done, grab a bag of hot cheetos plop on the couch do whatever it is that you like to do to relax and just let that sit on your hair for a minimum of 45 minutes. A good thing. We were a black shirt ooh. Now we are left with a super, pretty light, lavender hair and you can see the darker roots have covered most of the yellow blonde tones that we were hoping to get rid of job. Unfortunately gray hair never grows in perfectly silver, no, it comes in patches of gray, yellowy gray, white, and the underneath layers are your original natural color, which in my case is medium brown, but all those shades work to give a lot of depth under the purple dye.
