Things you'll need a box color closest to your hair, color, some foil, hair, coloring, brush a regular brush, a bowl and some extensions. Okay, we're going to begin by getting two pieces of foil to cover our area, make sure to get enough pieces to where you don't get any of the other areas. Dirty start by brushing out the extension pieces on each piece that you have. My kit came with about 10 pieces I'll, get your pieces and place up with the clips facing down and get them all side-by-side. Once you have all your pieces down now we're going to start with the color, I'm using the Revlon color silk go ahead and mix the mixture in the bottle and we're going to go ahead and shake it. Try to mix it for about two minutes, or so until it's completely mixed, now get your bowl and now we're going to empty out the ball. Don'T forget your gloves, for this part, get your mix and go ahead and kind of mix it up in your bowl and we're ready to apply this onto our extensions grab. The top part of the extensions and you're going to start to carefully slowly add the mixture you want to be pretty careful in this part. You want to make sure you get all the hair covered with the hair dye, make sure you get all the ends and put a little extra dyes. If you have to um, you do want to also put hair guy at the top base with the clips or at you don't want to forget the top piece of your extensions. You want to make sure that your extensions are fully covered and you might want to go back through them again. Add extra dye now we're going to go ahead and fold this over carefully just fold it over so to get everywhere now watch the time if they say 20 minutes on the box, you want to check it at 10 minutes and you don't want to leave it. No longer than 15, I'm gon na go ahead now and shampoo. The extensions one by one and this parts actually get pretty messy. So try to be very careful with this. The shampoo I'm using is ion and it's for color treated hair. You want to rinse until the water turns clear now, I'm beginning to add my conditioner, which I'm going to actually leave into the extensions now leave your conditioner in for about five minutes, so the hair becomes really soft. Now rinse out the conditioner with cold water. You want the cold water so that it's going to be a lot more healthier. Your extensions and the lasts a lot longer you're going to want to Pat them dry. Now let air dry, you don't want them to have too much damage so by letting them air dry they're going to be a lot healthier once dry to the touch, then they're ready to go and be styled thanks for watching

Rhianna Galvan: I got hair extensions for the first time and got the wrong color so I hope this works.

Kristin Karpovich: I'd just like to put this out there. I haven't dyed my extensions yet, but I have washed them and had to dry them. they dry A LOT faster if you take a hanger with hooks, attach a bra strap (the kind that come with strapless bras) and atratch the strap to each hook. you can attach the clips to the strap, and hang them to air dry! :)))) works well for storage also.

Beccawhobeccaboo: :) I just dyed my hair the same color along with my extensions! Great Video!

xBabyDollx: Loved the video!!!Awesome job! Simple and very informative! Thanx!!

Lucinda Ellery Consultants: Great D.I.Y. video! This encourages me to dye my hair extensions.

Samantha Taylor: thanks for posting! but before I dye my Hair extensions, is there anything I might need to know before doing this? and does the hair dye damage the extensions?

TheTattooedAria: Never did, but I redyed it and it actually did take. I made sure I completely dried out the extension after washing it. Didn't put conditioner. It ended up matching perfectly.

navygirlist: I've never seen this done, thank you!

Emily Donohue: I've bleached my black hair extensions to a blonde and they're perfectly fine. It depends what volume of bleach you use and how many times you bleach it, but if you care for them and use the right treatments after they're fine.

Aerie Gerard: looks like you have the same extensions as me, very helpful, thanks!

dyanasaurus: Updated skin care routine, please! =] <333

Marissa YO: do you have to redye extensions after you dye them like you do with your real hair? i really need to know please answer someone :)

Lindsey Westberry: Can you use this method with lightening the color of the extensions as well

T Bells: I will be trying this tomorrow on a friend of mines extension. She did a terrible job of trying to dye them some time ago so hopefully I will have a better result doing it this way!

iwrotelionling: Wouldn't you want to flip them and dye the back? I guess folding the foil helped the dye saturate to the other side

Haley Reynolds: I know this video is old, but if the box says to leave it on for thirty minutes, do I do that? or do I do the 15 minutes thing? and do you have to shampoo them? can you not just condition them if the box comes with conditioner then air dry?

Susmii Kabir: Hi... I’ve recently bought a synthetic clip in hair extensions which doesn’t match my own hair colour. My hair is dark brown and the extension colour is light golden brown. Will this proceeds help me darken the hair extension colour?

Kitty Kat: How many boxes of hair dye does it take to cover all the extensions?

Emily Rose: Regardless of quality, it's human hair. Human hair gets damaged when bleached from black no matter what you do.

GINA: Can you please tell me which extensions you use? They look like pretty good extensions

fblairmd66: Thanks for this!!

Jamie Penny: You're crazy for doing all that in a nice white sweater

Sol: What brand are those extensions? :)

Gatalatina84: where did u get these hair extensions i would love to get some

TaylorAnn: Sick video!! Thanks heaps x

La Paz Girl: Great video, Thanks!

Rose Aziz: Great job.

i dont wanna: Where did you get your hair extensions?

Anaregina Frias: i just trying dying my black hair extensions dark brown.. went through the whole process..did it just like you did and they dried exactly the same color before i dyed them. Is it for black hair? Or should have i just left the dye 20-25 minutes???? /:

Amy Smith: You probably wouldnt have to keep on redying your hair extensions that much since you only have to wash your extensions about 5 times a year

Nina Em: So my extensions are blonde. They hair synthetic hair extensions. Do you know if they can go from blonde to brown or ash brown using regular hair dye? And the extensions I have, I can curl it with high heat if that helps at all. Thanks.

Kassandra V: Is it the same to use a color & developer and using hair box dye?

belluhhhx3: @diANASOURRrr clip in extensions can only be bad for your hair if you tease the root to keep the clips from slipping. that's not usually necessary if you have medium- thick hair. if your hair is realllllly thin, you should get extensions that aren't so thick so you wouldn't have to worry about the clips slipping out

missaliray13: I never shampoo my hair after dyeing it it washes the dye out. your not supposed to wash dyed hair until 48 hours after you dye them.

Brittany Star: how much are 18inch hair extensions & where do you buy them?

makeitboomerang: using shampoo right after coloring the hair will take OUT some of the color, that's why most hair dyes come with conditioner only. wash the hair with condition NOT shampoo great tutorial thoo, not bashing just giving some tips :)

Susanne Sørnskog: Thank you both! I live in Norway, is it to hard to get it then??

CamillaBHoniball: Are these extensions synthetic? If not what would you cange if anything?

Diana Calderon: Is getting extensions bad for your hair?

nikodema1000: please do a video how you to take care your hair extensions ;]

salinareneeofficial: @susan snorskog I have to use acrylic paint u can get some and mix different colors to get the one you want

Layla B: how many grams are those extensions?

Stephanie Paguio: it ruins some, if you get really good quality hair extensions it doesn't really ruin them :P

Kittiee Carrillo: Your Suposed To Flip The Extensions To The Other Side With The Clips Faceing Up & Repeat The Dying Cus They Have To Completely Dye . .

Ambitious Love: ur nail polish is beautiful. what kind is it?

ajreid: The other side didnt need to be dyed? When i turned my extensions over it needed some dye on tht sidee badd

kniggz: your allowed to get the clips wet?

jillian cordoza: Nice video but I've heard not to use drugstore color, only the professional salon stuff??? Now I'm worried.

Rach’s World ⭐️: I dyed the extensions but it didn't change , it's still the same as it was

Catherine Kerr: Awwwesome :D

KlaydoTheStormMage: I think you need to use fabric dye.

Emily Rose: You're not supposed to bleach your extensions, though, it ruins them.

lsnsww K: The people who sell extension tell me not to bleach or dye it... Why? What when it's not my hair colour. Do you use remy hair?

kimmy B: What type of hair extensions are those?

Susanne Sørnskog: hi! I have synthetic hair extensions and i want to dye it dark brown, i tried one time and it didnt work! The colour just washes out! Please help me:)

Amy W: For everyone watching, the water dying method is way easier!

MissMiller2007: What kind of extensions are those?

Ayeitsabby._: I have a couple of questions because I'm getting some so I can dye them cool colors ( cause I'm not allowed to bleach my hair only color ) so someplease reply 1. How long are the extension you have 2. We're did you get them And 3. Are they real ( because I I don't wanna buy really one if they are not good ) Please reply

Victoria Onut: Are they human or synthetic?

TheTattooedAria: I purchased platinum blonde hair extensions a while back. The package says 100% human hair tangle free, however the style says H/H Yaki W 18. I have an 18 inch extension. I tried dying it before, but the color came out extremely faded, barely took. How can I get the color to remain in the extension itself? Or is it impossible?

Olga Klepikova: hey what about the other SIDE of the hair??

maha fsar: i have jut black hair extensions which is not match with my hair.. which colur shuld i try to colur them ?

Marilyn monroe: Where's part 2?

Anastasia K: is the hair synthetic

Saira Malik: Plz tell the product name how to black Extention colour.

april banlawi: Nice

Stephanie Paguio: lol, yeah you can.. it's called bleaching..

Chantelle Marie: Those extensions are so thin

AJ Bopp Griffin Lee: Is that human hair?

hannah chase: We're did u get yours?

Emily Rose: uh, i'm sorry, i didn't know stating a fact made me a bitch. xD

Streghe Evora: Same of my one

tatiana meh: What material are they? Synthetic? Human..?

JajcirBela: Why leave the comment section open if you're not going to answer questions. Blah!!

Pastor Hope: Please cut music

Shawn Tucker: synthetic or human

Violent_Muse: They don't hold color

CHLOE HAMMOND: I tried to dye my human hair extensions but whatever protective coating they seal them with it wouldn’t let the hair absorb the dye. I left it on for 15 min and it just fully rinsed out

mizzmakeup1: @diANASOURRrr not clip ins

CamillaBHoniball: *change

natasha safdar: It human hair

Katie Williams: Boxed color is the worst thing in the worlddddd.

2seegullies: what a mess

Lauren Robles: Fake
