Hi I'm Joshua alt back from Joshua box, haircare and beauty in st. John's Wood, London. Today, I'm going to show you some great new tips on how to style your hair, I'm going to show you how to use flip and hair extensions. Now, these hair extensions a little bit different from probably what you've seen before they're, basically handmade and they're put onto a wire as you can see, and they built up with layers of real hair. Now this one is a highlighted effect, so we're using two colors to match the exact colors of the hair. Here you can get them in different lengths. This one is the 16 inch length. You also have a 12 inch length and you have a 20 inch length. So we're going to use the 16 inch length here because we don't want it too long and we just want to put it into out a little bit more body and a little bit more length as well. So I'm going to show you how to put in flippity hair extensions, placing the extension on the top of the head here and then pushing all the way down to the bottom here. So it's nice and timely once again, if the wire doesn't fit perfectly, you can always undo the wire and rewire it to the exact specification you want. So once it's in place, you take your tail comb and you start to pull through the hair. All the way through this will actually hide the wire which is going through the prong. So I'm feeling all the way through it's really easy to do yourself at home. Once you could pull the hair through just comb it through say now at the moment, as you can see, it's a really good blend with her own natural colors as we use a two-tone color, so it matches perfectly and that's how to use prep and hair extensions.

jorge diaz: For those girls who are afraid of how to hold this extensions in place really well let me tell you that you can always use bobby pins to hold the wire in place, one bobby pin on each side and that's it.

sasha Kavanagh: I can't believe that the majority of you haven't had good experiences with these extensions. If their falling out easily then you either haven't tightened the wire enough to make them secure, or you're wearing them too far back. I use these all the time as they don't damage your hair & are so easy to put in. Can the make of this video please tell me the colour of the weft used on the model? Thanks :)

Sally Wallace: To everyone that says it looks painful or doesnt stay in, my best friend wears flip ins and they arent painfull at all, i didnt believe they would stay in so she did cartwheels in them and they stayed in! this is such a good type of extension

coocei: They're quite good actually! If they wire is fitting right, you can have them in like all time time. Not all the time, but you know- they won't fall out!

Richtor Reynolds: Hair tangles not because there's animal or synthetic hair blended in. The reason the hair tangles is on account some of the hair gets turned in opposite directions. Human hair has cuticles that are pointing down when growing from the roots. When some of the hair is turned the cuticles catch on each other and cause the hair to mat.
Bethany Forber: My hairdresser who I've been going to since I was born was showing me these a couple of months ago and they are actually incredibly easy and comfortable and they don't damage your natural hair like lots of extensions do, I might be buying one of the hair flashes which is a similar concept to this only it's a strip of bright coloured hair.
