Hey, what's up you guys welcome back to my channel, it should go destiny so today, I'm gon na be showing you how I got this beautiful, beautiful, burgundy, color, listen, we're gon na be doing a complete way transformation. So I took one of my little raggedy. Oh rusty, crusty, wigs and I give it a new life, honey. Okay, I gave it a new life, so I'm gon na be showing you how I got this beautiful color. I'M gon na show you how I store this week as well. So if you want to see how I got this look then keep on watching. I, like you guys, so this is the way that we're going to these screws in. We want to be giving this thing a makeover. Okay. Now, if you watch some of my previous videos, you know that this is my frontal wig from Ally gray, so that is the wig we're gon na be transforming and I'm using a 20 volume developer with the L'Oreal hi color highlights in the color magenta. Now I'm using 20 volume because I don't want it bright red. I want like a burgundy color, so I opted to use 20 volume, but you could use 30 volume or 40, but you will have to keep an eye on it because you know, as you know, 30 and 40. Those process really quick. So, with 20 volume it's a little bit safer because you don't really have to you know, watch it as much, but you can still get the same results as long as you keep your eye on it. So I'm mixing the contents together in the mixing bowl and, as you can see, you want to be kind of pasty. You don't want it to be too watery, because if it is too watery, it won't lift as well, and I've experienced that where I was like. Okay, I'm trying to stretch my product and I added like more I'm developer than I know I should have and it ended up not working so make sure you don't um, add too much developer, because your hair won't end up processing - and that's happened to me before So after I mix everything up, I am just going to apply that on to the bundles. Now I did take my wig apart because for me it's easier to color hair on individually. I feel, like you use less product this way when it's in a wig. For my end up using like unnecessary amounts of product, so I took my wig apart and also because we are going to be transforming this week from a frontal to a closure. I needed to take the wick apart anyway, but you can still do the same thing. But for me I like to color hair individually. It just seems like it doesn't use as much product. So I'm just gon na stop talking, but you guys continue to watch and then I will come back shortly, yeah. So once I finish putting all of my color on the hair, I let it sit in some aluminum foil for about 30 minutes and now onto the frontal part. Okay, so I'm cutting my frontal from my wig cap and then after that, I'm going to remove my elastic band after that. I'M basically going to show you how I cut my friends'll into a closure, so my friends who was parted down the middle, so I kinda already had an idea of like where to go by so after um. I figured out how much space I'm wanting to leave. I literally just cut like straight across like straight across it's nothing more to it, nothing less and then, after that I just removed those little insects and there we have. We have a closure honey like a closure like this method, let me tell you something: if you do not want to keep spending money to buy closures by Frances, whatever listen start spending your frontal sense of closure honey, especially if they start bolding or something like that. So onto the coloring, I'm doing the same process as I did for the bundles, I'm just applying um the L'Oreal hi color highlights onto the hair and I'm starting, like literally I'm working that in from the root to the ends. I do not want to ombre. I want everything to be one solid color, so I'm not you know doing in any specific method, I'm just applying the dye onto the hair and then I'm gon na, let it sit in some foil for about 30 minutes. The same way, I did my bundles hey guys, so once they came to actually sewing the wig, I basically pinned my closure in place. The same way I would as if it was a regular closure. So it's no different, you know it's nothing different. It'S the same steps you would take, and I also constructed my wig all over again now I have a lot of videos posted on my channel, where I show you guys how to make awake, so this is not gon na, be like an in-depth tutorial with that. So once I finished making my wig, I'm gon na style it using the lighter body mousse and I'm going to use my karekare wax. Stick I'm using this on the closure part just to flatten out my wig before I go. To put it on, I like to start my wigs on a mannequin head first before I put them on my wig on my head. It'S a lot easier to me, but you can do it either way you want, but I like to start my wigs on a mannequin head and then, if I have to tweak it when it's on my head, then I do that but just easier for me. So I'm just gon na apply some moves first and then I'm going to use a hot comb just to run to the roots, just to get it nice and flat um. I don't like when my hair is like lumpy and bumpy, even though it's curly hey. I still like, for my roots, to be pretty flat, so I'm just gon na style it in place and then I'm going to run through the hair with my hot comb and then I'm gon na follow that with the karekare. Just to make sure everything looks nice and sleek and there's no flyaways or any. You know nothing looks crazy. So now I'm just gon na style in my hot comb and I'm going to let you guys continue to watch once I finish prepping my wig and I'm styling it on my mannequin head. I'M just gon na take some makeup that matches my skin complexion. I'M gon na apply that all over the center part of my stocking cap, I'm not gon na - do the ball cap because personally, I don't feel like it's necessary if you're doing a closure like a closure wig. So I'm not gon na. Do the ball cap method. You can do it, but to be honest, it's just it's not necessary in my opinion, so I'm not gon na do it, but I am gon na just apply some makeup on so my starting cap and my lace of my wig just help it blend better and Then I'm gon na clean off my forehead with some alcohol because I am using an adhesive when we use in the erica J hold me down adhesive glue and once I do that, I'm just going to position my wave on my head so that when I go To apply it's just easier, it's just like the wig is right. There just got to pull it down, so I'm just gon na be doing two thin layers of this glue, so I'm just adding some little droplets of the glue and then I'm gon na take my rat tail comb to help smooth those layers out and then once It gets dry or you know some, I like it and then I'm going to pull my wig down and just press it into place. So you're gon na see this in the video you all right, you guys, so that is it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed this little weight transformation. Video, listen do a goodness! Okay, you can tell me nothing okay, new way who this honey but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I let me enjoy making it for you guys.
