How To Define Your Curly Hair/Wig! From Poofy To Fabulous!

Hi guys amber Rao here, aka lovable hair. I know it's been a cool minute, but I'm back. I thought I would do this quick video on how I define my curls in my wig. I was actually headed out. My friend is having her baby and I'm super excited about that. So I thought I would just go ahead and do this quick tutorial for you guys. This is a lace closure wig. I just put it on and show you. These are old curls. It'S about two weeks old and I actually actually had it pinned back and like a clip. That'S why it's kind of straightened out and bent right here so right after it's been old, so I'm gon na go ahead and go in and define these curls to make them really really pretty for this wig I don't have any band on the inside. I literally sewed all the hair on a cap put it on my head and it fits perfectly so I'm gon na go in and show you guys step-by-step what I do to define my curls on this wig and again here. It is after two weeks old curls. This is how it's gon na look alright, so stay tuned. Okay, so the first thing you want to do is brush out all the curls which I've already started doing that way when you go to wash their curls or spray them down with the water bottle. It'Ll curl perfectly so like just go through em I like to use my paddle brush and I just go through and brush out all the curls. So as you can see, it's getting really big on me. That'S why people like to know how to define my curls cuz if you brush through it or you, comb through it with your fingers a lot. This is usually what happens. Your hair gets really really big and overwhelming, especially right now it's the summertime. So you might not like that. Look right now, she's gon na go through and brush off all these beautiful curls. This is my lovable curly, hair lace, closure and two bundles. I used a little bit of the third honestly. I don't know how people use more than two bundles when it comes to curly hair cuz. Look at how much hair is in the bundle. Okay, alright, so it's all brushed out, as you can see, so I'm gon na go ahead and watch these girls. Okay, you guys so I'm back, I just washed it um I like to use the GAR near 40, cm foam conditioner, the one in the green bottle. I literally just washed it up and put any product in it yet, and this is how it looks. Okay, I know it looks like you, don't have to do much to it, but honestly you do cuz. By the end of the day, it's gon na be back where it was so. The products I like to use - and I'm really quick - is the soft Sheen carefree curl. My gold, I like to add a little of the cat to as well and then after that, I like to add a little mousse to define it and hold it and, at the very end, the coconut oil spray. You just give it that sheen that I need you know alright, so I'm gon na go ahead and go in with the bowl first, you just pour a little bit in your hand, rub it together, and I just like to rub it through rub it through on The hair all the way down to the ends. You don't need too much, just a good amount in your hands, rub it through and then smooth it at the top, because you want it to like lay like you're wearing a frontal. So you want to kind of smooth, you don't want that bulky. Look you guys! Lace! Closure, wigs are so easy, like literally require no maintenance, but the hair. I'Ve been done one in so long, but I'm like so excited, but I went ahead and did it going in with the can to rubbing a little bit on my hands so brushing through the hair. You see I'm doing this motion. You want to do that motion. So that it defines the curls, you don't want to drag it down and leave it like that, because they won't be popping okay and we want to be popping around here and you can even go in if your hair still kind of damp and then and then Again, there's that upwards motion you want to do with your towel as well: okay, alright! So after I do that, I like to grab a little bit of mousse go in again with the mousse okay. Now you guys can see these curls are shinin pop in and dripping sauce. Okay, all right! So we got all of our product in and I like to seal it with the coconut, so youse go ahead and spray and then rub that through all right. So now that your curls are pop in you guys see that yes, honey, yes, so the very last thing I like to do it's not needed, but I'm extra is the guts to be Jill. I like to take a little bit on my finger scoot, my wig back a little bit. This is just for that extra security. I like to put it right there like, where the part is to give it that effect like that, it's growing out of your scalp. I like to put a little bit there: let it dry a little bit. I mean just scoot your weight on top of it dab it then I like to take a little baby hair brush on there, but I like to do a little little baby. Hair motion to give that illusion that you are wearing a frontal but you're, not sorry guys, it's hard for me to see in this camera just a little swoop swoop action there, smooth the hair down you just bring that here over. There see how it gives it like illusion, like you're wearing a frontal, you see how looks like it's growing up your scalp. So that's the illusion. You want to give guys these clothes, your wigs, alright guys. So that's the finished product. These are perfect. For the summer time, because, although you know you wet your hair, these this type of hair dries really fast, especially in this weather. It'S getting gon na get really hot. So these wigs dries super fast. So you don't have to worry about it being wet on you all day like right. Now, it's not dripping or anything, I'm just kind of getting the product off so yeah.
