How To Color Your Hair At Home | Auburn Ombre For Curly Hair

Hey Ladies!

I wanted to share with you how I achieved the new color I have been rocking lately. This is a great tutorial for you if you want to color your hair red without bleaching and have medium brown virgin hair, or if you are interested in coloring your hair at home.

If you are working with fairly dark hair to begin with then you can gently pre lighten your hair first and then add the red.

I hope this inspires you to try something new!

Thanks for you continued support!

Love y'all!

Hey, ladies how's everybody out there doing today: Hey huh! Well, if you're not doing so hot. I hope you feel better by the end of this video. Okay. Well, this video right here is about this all berm here. So if you'd like to know what I use to achieve, this look, thank you for watching all righty, so here's the unit before it was colored. This is one of my custom units, it's just like I'll brushed out and just what what's in there, okay. So this unit does have a lace frontal that goes from ear to ear here at the lace frontals separated, so the hair naturally comes in like a number two. Is she forage? So, as you can see, the back like these are the ends. They'Re already fairly light. The frontal, however, I wanted it to be about a shade and a half two shades lighter than the natural color of the hair, because I wanted the hair at the top to just be a bit lighter and just to give the overall look a bit of dimension. So, in the back, as you can see, that's just the natural color. I did not process this at all. However, the front part i lightened just a little bit with 20 volume bleach and just did my ombre technique to have the ends a little bit lighter. If the hair you're using is naturally darker than this, then you will have to bleach the ends of the hair. In order for the red to show you can't just take red color and put it on top of very, very dark hair and expect it to show that's one thing that I absolutely love about this hair is that if you're trying to dye it blonde or red Or copper, any of that you don't have to fight through those darker pigment. So I'm going to be using two different formulas for the front and the back in the back. I'M going to be using Revlon's color line in six 6.60 rebuked that, oh my gosh, but at the same time I know in the color world six means red, that's just what it is will rebuke that okay and I'm mixing this with 30 volume developer. This is also going to help to really have the red pop without bleaching. So then I took the color and I applied it on the ends. First and kind of just use my hands to work. The color in I did not apply this to the roots at all, so I applied it where the hair was the lightest which was on the ends and kind of blended it and letting it in and use my hands get in there get dirty so throughout the Hair, I tend to do this back and forth motion when I get closer to the roots. This just helps to blend the color into the roots that you're leaving darker. So it's like a back and forth kind of swipe motion and it just helps to reduce any lines of demarcation, and I did this all the way up until I reached the point of the frontal, so for the front is a color that was almost exactly the Same but wasn't if you pay attention to very small details, so this is six six point. Six, six and this one just had a slight violet tone to it, and I wanted to use that one in the front and the biggest difference between this formula is that I'm using 20 volume in the front and not 30 volume, because the front was already previously Lightened, I don't need the power of 30 volume and, as you can see, with the front, I'm still leaving the roots, I'm only applying the color, where I pre lighten the hair all right. So now, while I clean up this crime scene, I am going to let this color process for 40 minutes set a timer, let it cook, then I rinsed it out in room temperature to cool water. As you guys know, no hot water, because you guys have all watched my how to wash you you have any alright, okay, I let it air dry, and this is what I happen honey. This is the results no product, and then I did that blow out. Video mmm-hmm that blow out video thanks guys. Thank you so much for watching. I hope this video inspired you to want to go out there and just try something new with your her or your life. Whatever it is girl, you got this alright guys. I will see you in my next video
