Watch Me Slay This Amazon Wig ( Bleaching + Plucking + Install ) | 99J Burgundy Wig X Supernova Hair

This is not what i expect from amazon: okay, hey, y'all, welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is zaria. If you don't know me and in today's video i'm just showing you guys this amazon wig, i ordered this wig off of amazon. It came this color. I freaking love this color. This is so cute to me like. Oh, i love it. I don't really do color like that. So i feel like this is definitely something for people who are trying to just get out of their comfort zone, but not go too far. I do want to start doing more color, but this was definitely a great little intro wig. To start with, this hair is from super nova hair. It is 22 inches, 180 density and yes, girl it's from amazon. If you enjoy the content anywho, so this video is gon na be start to finish. I'M gon na be bleaching my knots plucking the hair and installing it for y'all. So, if you're interested in seeing that then keep watching all right guys so we're switching over to the voiceover. So i'm just showing you guys the packaging that my hair came in. It gives you this nice little bag, which i love having these bags, because you can always store your wigs and then, when you're done, i'm just going to open it and it does come in another plastic bag. So i like how much thought they put into just making sure the wig stays safe during delivery, so this little sticker, i'm showing you is just showing you that the wig is 13 by 4 and it's 22 inches. So this is what the frontal looks like on the inside. It has three combs for those of you guys who use combs. I don't really use the combs, but if you do it does have those, and it also has the adjustable straps in the back. I also don't really use those, and then this is what the frontal looks like. So not bad. It looks like they may have pre-plucked it. I'M not really sure if it's pre-plucked, but i'm definitely gon na, pluck it myself regardless. I always pluck my wigs, regardless of whether they came pre-plucked or not, i'm really liking how this hair is looking. It'S super shiny, super bouncy. I love the wave it came in, even though it doesn't stay in that wave. It'S really straight hair, but it definitely made the unboxing experience a lot better than it would have been. You know so they do give you a wig cap that wig cap is way darker than i would need it to be, so i'm actually not going to use that wig cap, but they do also give you an elastic band which will come in handy later on. So i'm just putting my wig onto my gex wig head i'll link it below. If you guys need to buy one. I actually have two of these they're really really handy to have whenever you're dealing with wigs a lot. You know so now, i'm just taking my got to be free spray, i'm just going to spray this on the hairline, just to kind of like get all the hairs out the way before i bleach the knots, i really don't want any of the hair getting bleached. I love the color too much to sit here and mess it up and then i'm turning the wig upside down and pinning it back into the head. Once again, i usually leave the pins in, like i guess you would say the face of the wig head. That sounds so wild but, like i leave the pins right there, because it's easy to just grab it from there and place it onto your wig. Now, i'm just using this bleach, i'm just gon na put some into my little bleachable mixing situation and i don't even know what it's called and i'm also going to use some 30 developer. All of these things i got off amazon, so they'll all be linked below. I usually like to use a plastic fork to mix it. Some people use the brush that comes with a bowl, but i don't know that's just a little messy for me. I feel like i always get the bleach powder everywhere, so i'm just going to use a plastic fork and i'm just mixing everything up. So this is the consistency that you want. You want it to be to the point where, if you were to pick up the fork or the brush or whatever you're mixing with it's not going to just fall back into the bowl, because if it does, that means that when you bleach your knots, the bleach Will fall through to your hair people usually say you want the consistency of toothpaste. Now i'm just taking my little brush that came with my bleach bowl, i'm pretty sure they came together and i'm just placing the bleach onto the frontal i like to put it all over the front. So i know some people only really do it. Where they're going to part their hair, but i don't really know where i'm going part my hair. So i just bleach the whole thing and you want to make sure you're not using too much pressure, because i have made that mistake before and pushed the bleach through to the hair and the hair kind of ended up getting bleached as well. And then that's just annoying because it just messes up your roots. So just don't press too hard, because you really don't want that bleach to push through to your hair. Now, i'm just taking some aluminum foil and just placing it over the bleach. Aluminum foil generates heat. So i don't know if that makes it move faster. I don't really know, but that's what i do and then i let that sit for like 30 minutes now we're at my sink and i'm just rinsing that bleach out of the hair. This is what the frontal looks like once the bleach is all out, i'm just taking my shimmer light shampoo and i'm washing where the bleach was, i'm really focusing mainly on the frontal just so that it doesn't have any of that orangey tone that the bleach creates. So yeah i'm just using the purple shampoo, and i did i think i did this twice. Okay, so we're back in my room. Now, i'm just going to pluck the frontal it does look like it was pre-plugged, but it's just not to my liking. I really don't like when my wigs kind of look out the box. I wanted to look like it came out my head, so that's what we're going to do so, i'm just kind of moving like the baby hairs out of the way a little bit just so that i can pluck behind them and as i'm plucking, i'm just combing. Those hairs that i plucked out of the way just so i can kind of see like my progress and i kind of just work, my way to the other side gradually. Okay, guys, so i finished plucking, my wig. This is what it looks like. I really like it. I think i did a pretty good job now, i'm just blow drying the hair, since it's still really wet from like when i was washing it, i actually didn't blow dry it all the way. I don't remember what i had to do, but i ended up leaving and i didn't come back to the wigs for the next day, so i started to blow dry it, but really it mostly air, dried okay. So now i'm just going to take some chi silk infusion and i'm just going to put that in the hair. It really doesn't need it, because the hair is extremely soft, but i figured i would just do it anyway and i'm just gon na hot comb. My edges back because it's a lot easier to apply a wig when all of those little hairs are out of the way. We really don't want it getting stuck in our glue later on. So we're just gon na make sure that we're proactive and moving those hairs out the way before it's time to now i have my wig cap on. I did not use the one that came in the box. I like using a lighter one so that i can like make it my skin tone. I did order these off amazon. You can get them at your local beauty supply, but i ordered a lot during like corona and everything i really wasn't trying to go out. So i ordered them off amazon, so i will link them if you guys want them and i'm just using some pump it up spray i ran out of my got to be. I know y'all saw me, use it earlier in the video, but i guess that was the last bit of it, because i did not have no more so i just decided that i was going to use the pump it up spritz because i figured they're both hairspray They'Re both going to do the same thing. I was actually really impressed with it because it really held my wig cap down, like i think i'm going to keep using this when it comes to putting my wig cap on, because i just feel like it had way. More hold so yeah, as you guys can see, i'm just blow drying it and the setting that i'm blow drying it on is cool, and i just do this for a while until it gets dry, i'm not gon na lie. Y'All. This part is kind of boring. You really be sitting there getting bored blow drying your wig cap, but it is what it is. As long as you stay patient everything will come out. You know nice, okay, so now i'm cutting my wig cap, there's really no rhyme or reason to how i'm doing it. You just want to make sure that you have all the excess wig cap off of your head, because if you don't you're gon na be able to see it through the lace and that's just gon na be annoying all right. Now, i'm using my even tinted lace. Spray, the color is medium brown. That'S like my exact skin tone and i'm just going to use that to make my wig cap look like my skin, because we are basically creating a scalp, so you want it to be the same color as you. Obviously, if you wanted to be your scalp at first, i started to spray the spray onto a makeup brush that i don't use. But then i just decided it really didn't matter and i could just spray it directly onto the wig cap and then i just ended up using the makeup brush to like blend it in. I still had a little excess cap, so i just wanted to make sure it was all gone because that's really a pain. So i took my scissors again and was cutting it now. I have my wig and i'm gon na. Take that same even tinted, lace, spray and spray - it you guys should be able to see the before and after okay. So it's finally time to put the wig on so i'm just putting it on my head and making sure that everything is kind of lined up the way that i want it and then i'm folding it back and i'm going to glue it down the glue that I'M using is the erica j hold me down. Adhesive i've only used it like, i think, once or twice before. I do really like it. So i'm just going to lay a few layers of that down. I did three layers. It really depends on how long you want your wig to stay on. I just decided that since i've been hair spraying, my wigs mostly for y'all, i would glue it finally, so yeah. I think i did those layers kind of back to back and i didn't really give each layer time to dry so now, i'm just kind of troubleshooting taking my blow dryer and trying to get it to turn clear. Now i'm just placing my wig right on top of that glue and i'm combing it back that comb really helps it to stick into the glue. So you definitely want to comb every inch of your lace into that glue so that it basically melts in and then it's easier to cut that excess lace later on now, i'm taking that elastic band that they gave me and i'm just gon na tie down my Wig, this is gon na make it really really melt into your skin. Okay, like this is the secret i feel like before i was doing this. My lace was like a little more detectable, but, as i was kind of like studying, hair and trying to get better, i really realized that this makes a huge difference. Okay, so now i'm just creating a middle part, i'm basically just going to style my hair, while the elastic band is on i'm taking some more of the cheese silk infusion and then i'm just gon na hot comb, my middle part, so that everything can lay down. I definitely should have just used the wax thick. I don't. I don't really know what i was thinking now. I'M just cutting some layers on both sides. I kind of wanted it to be a little bit shorter in the front. So i decided i was just gon na cut some layers. Now, i'm just hot combing, my edges and everything, because i really like that push back look so yeah, i'm just taking the hot comb and making it happen. Curling iron and i'm just curling, my hair. It really is no rhyme or reason to how i'm curling it, because i'm going to comb it out later on anyway, so it really doesn't matter. Also don't mind me. If i look like a little uncomfortable with the curling iron, i never use the curling iron y'all. I always use a curling wand, so whenever it comes to a curling iron, i just kind of be a little bit lost, but it's okay, i'm gon na get better but yeah. Just in case i look a little uncomfortable with the curling iron. Then y'all know why, also after every curl i'm using that same pump, it up spritz that i was using earlier and i'm just spraying it into the hair just so that it can stay. I just wanted to make sure that those curls would hold as much as they could well. I'M gon na comb it out anyway, like i said, but i just wanted to have some type of curl. You know now, i'm just tying up my hair and i'm going to take an elastic band again. I don't know what happened to the first one that i was using. I literally just had it and then i lost it. So i'm just using my other elastic band and i'm tying my edges down. While i do my makeup all right, we back so my makeup is done. My lace is melted. Like do y'all see that this is probably the best install i've done thus far like i've. Really been practicing y'all, so i'm so proud of myself, because i think it looks so good, so i'm just tweezing the part a little bit and then i'm just adding some foundation. I put it on my little concealer brush and i'm just adding it to the part. Just to give it a little bit more of like a seamless look and again, i'm just messing with the hair again to see if i can get it to do what i want it to do. I really sat here and did this for like 20 minutes, all right y'all. So this is the finished. Look. I love how it came out. I love the color. I feel like it looks really good. I, like my skin tone, everything. Let me show you how long it is. This is the 22 inches. So that's how long it is on me, so i'm loving it. I definitely would buy it again. I really i really like this wig, like i didn't, expect amazon to have wigs like this. I don't know what i expected but girl this wasn't it. I really am so impressed with amazon right now again, the specs on this wig. It is from supernova hair. I'M gon na have all the links in the description, of course, but this wig is from supernova hair. It came this color. I did not have to dye it. It'S 22 inches, it's 180 density. The hair is so soft. You guys, like. I don't even know how i don't even know how to express to y'all how impressed i am with this hair. I really love it. The hair is super soft. The only thing that i would change is, i probably would get like thicker hair, like it's 180 density. I would probably want maybe 200, but that's neither here nor there because for the price, it's definitely worth it, i would buy it again. I would buy their hair again. I'M impressed anywho, you guys that'll, be the end of this video.
