You know what I'm saying: anyways, let's get right back to the video for this unit. I have an 18 frontal, 20, 22, 24 and 26 from you, nice, hair company on Aliexpress. I love this hair, so affordable so good. So this is just a closer look at the hair. It is completely black. I am NOT cheating you. We are going to turn your hair red today. So, as you can see, my quote, frontal is kind of incomplete. Yes, I do cut off the sides of my friends hole completely. This is how I like making my wigs, I'm not for the hole friend tool from side side, ear to ear type of thing. Sorry, if it's not your preference, but this is just what I do. It'S easier for me to slay that way, so are we gucci or not? I do bleach. My friends was before I saw them in every time. If you want an in-depth tutorial on how I do that, I already have a video up just go to my channel and click the tules closures. One way tutorial and your lace closure will look like this once we're done, but yeah back to this tutorial. So I am NOT a cosmetologist, I am a learner, just like you. I noticed that every single youtuber uses this product right here: hi color by L'Oreal and magenta, red hot copper, etc. Before you go and buy this product, because you see me talking about it, please don't it did not work for me, it's a cool idea because you don't have to bleach your hair for it to change color, but, as you can see, you're gon na find out What happened to me twice that this product does not work for me, please wear safe, gloves as well. We got to be safe. I got these from Sally's, but anyway back to this product, you can see that I'm mixing it correctly. I mixed it with them. 30 developer, just like the instructions said and trust me guys. This is not my first rodeo dyeing hair or trying to go red. I use L'Oreal highlights for this look as well, which came out to be like some purple burgundy. I was not filling and I thought it was the hair company that I used, but it actually wasn't because I said okay, let me give it a try on you, nice hair, I've, dyed, Yumi's, hair, blonde white, all sorts of things and this product still did not Work, I left it on for two hours, guys two hours. I left it to like sit on the hair and when I washed it out and still came out a dark purple, burgundy red in the light I didn't want black hair. That was red in the light. I wanted a nice Auburn burgundy, but hey don't be discouraged if you like this color right here, go ahead and buy that product see if it works for you hey, it might work on your hair and who knows it works in everybody else's but mine. This is how it looks in the light slight burgundy, not what I'm trying to go for. So this is how you fix that problem. If you find yourself the same situation that I'm in you take some bleach right, you mix it with 30 developer and you put it on the hair. Now this product L'Oreal highlights is a permanent color, so it doesn't slightly remove with bleach easily meaning after you bleach. It it's not gon na turn, brown or yellow it's going to get brighter right and that's what we want after I wash the bleach out. This was the color that it was which was kind of cool. But let me tell you: after two weeks it will fade to a nasty orange brown whatever. So I took this box dye. That was like 2 bucks. You can find it at Kroger Walmart anywhere, and I rinsed the hair to get the burgundy that I wanted. After letting the hair dye process for 35 minutes, it came out this very cherry burgundy, but please don't be mistaken. Bleaching, your hair and using this bugs dye will not get you this color, because the red undertone just sing in my hair actually came from the L'Oreal highlights. The Boggs dye will only darken your hair to a burgundy, so this box guy is just a good plan B. If the L'Oreal highlights does not work out for you now. I know that some of you may be discouraged like I don't want to run around just to get this color. I want this color in one step. Well, good news: your girl went into the research and I went and bought this, and it is perfect. It is the olive oil raging red burgundy, hair dye. It has the right amount of red undertones and the right amount of burgundy darkness that you know, and you love it's $ 6.99, where I bought it from which is the beauty supply. But the bad news is: if you use this, you would have to bleach your hair first, you cannot take the hair from black to Burgundy in one step, it would require for you to bleach it, but I know on the box: it shows the color transition saying That, if your hair is black, it will tint. That is a lie. If you use this on black hair, it will be black but like red and the light, which is not what you want. So, in recap, a summary of everything by this product because I've seen it work for other people. It did not work for so theology is what I'm saying: if it doesn't work, don't cry, don't beg, go grab, bleach, throw it on that mug and then throw on some die and then get your juicy color. If you don't care about bleaching, your hair from the start go ahead and bleach it and use this products, and you will come out with this succulent tantalizing busting brain read that I have right here which looks like this and the lights so beautiful. VirgoBeauty: The best results I've gotten with the L'Oréal hicolor is to when I get the hair I completely cover the bundles with developer let that sit over night then use the hicolor. You're not bleaching your hair so it's less harsh
Sophiology: I FORGOT TO SAY THIS BUT!! If you decide to put bleach on the hair after dying it with the L'Oreal HiLights, it brightens pretty fast! Towel dry the dyed hair then apply bleach with 30V Developer The hair will elevate a level brighter every 5 minutes ! DO NOT LEAVE THE BLEACH ON FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES.

DIY Deanna: Ok so with the loreal highlight dye you have to boost it yourself! You have to put the hair in aluminum foil just like how you would do if you were bleaching the hair first! I also put a blow dryer to the foil and it comes out bright asl. Trust me the same thing happened to me! You like have to have heat!
TheKayKollection: Try putting the hair in foil after!! It definitely helps it take the dye quicker! I used only the magenta dye and only left it in for an hour or so to get a bomb red/burgundy!
Asya Le'Sara: I just dyed a unit using L'Oréal highlight, I would suggest using red instead of magenta mine turned out great! And I let it sit for way longer than 2 hours!

Queen Saints: I am cracking up because literally this exact same process happened to me. I never ever died my hair before. My natural hair. But i wanted that red/auburn color for fall. My hair did NOT take. I was so disappointed. I left it in for a bit longer, came out to about 4 hours and it finally took a LITTLE. It was still black but in the light it looked slightly purple red. Couple weeks laters my roots growth and ends were orange and brown. I was like "" i was so angry lol

I just dyed my hair this weekend with the magenta and I let it sit for 24 hrs and deep condition 24 hrs. My hair came out bright like her at the end of the video. This is my 2nd time using it... But this is only my experience.

Jay Rogers: YES! I tried the L'Oreal in copper and red, but it definitely didn't work. It looked like yours but with less color. I had to be in a bright setting in order for anyone to notice. I watched a million videos where the girls' hair turned out perfectly fine on the first try so I thought it was something I did wrong.

MsMariahMone: You got red hot instead of red. Don't buy the ones with the intensifier it doesn't work. Magenta red and copper lifts perfect. I use it all the time and it lifts perfectly but I had to learn the hard way too lol. All the other colors like red hot, intense red, something copper DONT DO IT. I really think it's because the intensifier.. hope this helps!!

TheCRYSTALLURE: Just give other viewers another "opinion" I guess lol I've used that product. I actually have a video on my channel (not promoting just providing extra evidence lol I guess I could say) and I used this exact brand!!! Lemme tell you. And the thing is you have to use this on virgin hair. If it doesn't work on weaves that means the hair isn't virgin and has been color treated prior to. Because when I dyed my hair with this I had never dyed my hair before. But the brand does work it's just clearly stated on the box and stuff that it's for virgin hair or hair that is naturally dark...hair that is dyed dark won't work has to be naturally like grown out ya head/virgin hair just throwing that out there for those who may have had a halted thought because it didn't work for her, which is totally fine as she stated in the video.
