What'S up y'all welcome back to my channel this video, i'm installing this 99j burgundy wig from tinashe hair. All the information will be in the description box below, of course, this wig is so pretty and thick it's a 200 density wig, it's 24 inches and i absolutely love it. I'M going to be using the stocking cap method to install this wig, because i want that. Scalp, look like that flawless, slayed, lace, look! That is what i'm going for today right now, i'm just making sure that the wig lines up with my wig cap and if there's anything, left over, i'm just cutting it off. So you can't see it. So i don't look crazy and then i'm gon na go through and cut out the little slits for my sideburns and make sure it fits around my ears. So, typically on my installs i'll use like a powder foundation to go over my wig cap and go over the wig. But this time i'm using liquid, i feel like one, the liquid, the color of the liquid foundation matches my skin a little bit better and i feel, like the pigment, will show up better and help it blend. That'S the hope crosses fingers, um but yeah. So i'm just giving this a shot to see how it turns out. I'Ve never done this before, but hopefully it works. Then i'm just going to quickly go through with rubbing alcohol, i'm using 90 rubbing alcohol to go through and get off my excess makeup and any dirt or anything that's going to be around the hairline to make sure that the glue can stick as good as possible. Today, i'm using the glue from wig dealer, their extreme hold, to attach my wig y'all. When i say this wig glue is amazing. Let me tell you i work out in this wig glue, sweating everything all around my hairline and this thing stayed sturdy. It stayed put um, definitely recommend 12 out of 10 for sure. So they tell you to apply the glue in a thin layer around the hairline and then blow dry and then apply about like two to three or three to four coats, which is exactly what i did. I'M not going to show myself doing all four coats because you pretty much get the point, but yeah you apply a coat, make sure it gets super clear before you apply the next one and then like blow dry and that's it. I will say at first. I didn't trust the power of this wig glue, so i got a little heavy handed on my second coat um. Don'T do that apply a thin layer? Really! That'S all you need, because when you apply like a super thick layer, it makes it harder for it to dry, and so you see me in here now with some rubbing alcohol trying to clean it up. So, to avoid all that just do three to four thin layers of the glue. It'S enough trust me. Now, i'm just going to go ahead and cut the lace that they provide on the back of the wig, which i really should have did before. I started installing it, but that's okay, um and now i'm going to go ahead and wrap my edges with my little band here and i'm gon na. Let that sit for a few minutes now, i'm just going through and carving out my part. I initially started using tweezers to pluck it, but that got tedious. So i just started pulling out the strands i'm just going through now and cutting off the excess lace. I like to do it in sections because it makes it a lot easier and then i'm going to use my razor and just start cutting away making sure like i don't do it in exactly a straight line to kind of make it jagged. So it looks more realistic. I know my heart, so i'm not really the best when it comes to like edges on lace. Unfortunately, but i'm just going with the theory that less is more so i'm just taking out a little bit of hair and i'm going to go through and cut and curl it if it's not enough i'll add some later, but this should be enough for now. So so for the style, i just decided that i want to keep the waves in this hair because i love this natural texture but of course it's falling out a little bit. So i have a waiver. I actually got this from marshalls and it's really really amazing and it puts like these really loose body waves into the hair. So it's like with the hair that, like the texture that the hair came in, but just better so yeah, i'm gon na, go through and show you how i did this um again. I got this from marshalls. It was like 17 18. You can probably catch it whenever you go, but unfortunately you know they don't have links. I believe the brand is hot tools, if i'm not mistaken, but i'll try to find something similar online and i'll put it in the description box below do. This is just a side by side comparison of one side. That'S done and the other side, that's not. It just looks like the natural texture. Lastly, i'm just taking some of my foundation and i'm gon na go around the edges and inside of the lace where it's like super bright, like it's super white and, of course, like that's, not my complexion, so i'm just gon na go through and try to blend It a little bit more we're using my makeup now. My only regret about this is, i probably should use a little bit darker shade of makeup, which i'll probably try next time um, but it still worked. It did what i needed it to do. For the most part - and now i'm just going through with my makeup and touching up my part, but for the most part i am done with this look. Okay, so now that we're done, can i just tell you how much i love this hair? I love this hair so much this color is giving me life like it just makes me feel edgy and cool. I don't know, i'm lame, and this is so cute. I love it. The only thing i'll say about this hair is that the color transfers so like i noticed like if i wear like a light, colored shirt like what i have on right now, that red will transfer a little bit onto my shirt um. Maybe if i had co-washed the hair, it would have rinsed out some of the excess dye, but i feel like it still would transfer. So just be very careful with that. I mean it washes out um, but you will have that issue. But besides that, i did not have any trouble with this hair. I love this hair. It'S super thick, it's so full. The lace is like really really nice um. The hair is such a great texture. It'S it's. I don't know it's a dream. It'S everything you could ask for and again all the information for this hair is in the description box below and that's it for this video you guys adios till next time.
