What'S up beauties, it's Lindsey welcome back to my channel long time, no video! I am so sorry. I'Ve been crazy busy with school. I had family visiting. I had editing problems like the whole shebang, but today I wanted to give you guys this quick, DIY, burgundy hair tutorial for fall. So if you'd like to see how I achieve this color keep on watching this is the wig I'll be dying today, you guys saw a review on it a couple months back, it's the long bob full lace wig from ozo wigs, which is like my all-time favorite. Wig company, as you can see, this ombre kind of fades from a 1b color down to a number 4 and I still love the wig the way it is but y'all know me, I'm a Gemini and we love change. So I wanted to die at darker for fall. The season approaching and my best friend and boyfriend both agreed on burgundy. So that's what we're gon na get. So I'm just using this box dye from Garnier Fructis. I know so many of you are totally against box dyes and I kind of am too, but only for natural hair, since this is a wig that I'm dying. I didn't really care that much and this one is in the shade at 362. So here you can see what the colors, what you can expect the colors to look like once the dyeing process is done. We'Ve got our developer, our cream color and the oils. So here I've already squeezed the cream color into the developer bottle and now I'm just dropping in the fruit extract oils and shaking it up, always shake away from your face and be sure to cover the top when you are shaking it like a softy. So now the application, if you are a professional hairstylist, watching this video right now, I literally give you the right to like yell at me in the comment section, because I know I'm applying this so badly. I'M not a professional, but this is just how I've always done color with my hair, I'm starting at the bottom of course, because I do want to get that number 4 color out of here so yeah, starting from the bottom and slowly working my way up. I'M just rubbing everything in with my fingers and back what I was back to what I'm saying about the box dye. I'Ve tried a handful of different box dye brands before and I always find myself going back to Garnier Fructis. So that's why I'm using this one, but if you're really wanting to the hair on your head, like not extensions, not awake, the hair on your head, please go to a salon and have a professional do it because they may have to mix different shades. They may have to lift your natural color a bit to get your desired color. So again, if you are wanting your natural hair dyed, please go see a profession out: okay, alright! So once we've got the bottom section all covered we're gon na work. Our way up - and this kind of reminds me of that purple ketchup they used to sell the grocery store. I bout wanted to throw up, but i'm using a brush to paint that top section in and when i get closer to the top of my hair near the part. I'M just brushing that color up almost as this i'm back combing the hair - and this is just so that there's no harsh lines where the color starts. After that i'm going back in and combing through the hair. I wish I had a bigger comb for this because I was using like a little rat tail comb, but this is just to ensure that all the little hairs, all the little strands of hair have products on it, so that there's no more of that number four Color showing and once that's done, you can see that there's only a little bit of color at the top. We still have a bit of ombre going on, so we do still have that one be at the top by the room, and now we wait so I've got my music going and we're just gon na set this timer to twenty seven minutes. You know jam out clean your room go eat whatever you want to do and then once those 27 minutes are up, you can see how saturated the hair is. Looking lovely, let's watch it out, so the directions say to just run it under water until the water runs clear y'all. I literally had to rinse this hair out like five times, because it was looking like a crime scene in my bathtub. It was so bad, but after multiple rinses I added the last step, which is just the nourishing conditioner. I let that sit in the hair for about two to three minutes, and then we washed all that out as well, and they recommend that you just air dry. The hair, so I left the hair on my little stand on my head overnight and then the next day. The wake had this a nice little wavy texture going on which I loved, but you know y'all know me. I had to show you my hair, so I did want all of the hair straightened, so I just use my glam palm flat iron y'all know this, isn't my go-to and I just straightened the entire wing, also wigs, hair and literally forever in a day, I'm not Just saying that - and it remains super silky, even when adding heat and dyes and washing and all that stuff, which is why I really love it, because you can kind of like torture, the hair and it still looks good, that's on so bad, but yeah. It holds up really really well. I think I experienced only like two strands shedding um and the end still look really really good, so I think the hair came out looking really good, like better than I had expected. It'S not like a clown red that looks really scary and costumey um, so it's still dark and good for fall, and I don't know I just loved how it came out. Can we talk about this transition y'all from the one be into that burgundy? Yes, that looks good. I think it looks good. Ok, I'm clapping for myself over here. I did want to show you guys this part cuz. I still haven't done anything to the part, since I got this way months ago. Still, holding up looking great haven't done anything to it, but that is the final look. So thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and hopefully this kind of gave you like hair inspo for the fall. If you guys want to go burgundy or anything like that, if you guys have any other questions, please let me know in the comment section below be sure to check the description box. I'Ve got more hair details and links that you guys need to check out and that's it. Thank you guys so much for watching and I'll see you in my next video bye, all
