23 Wigs Wig Party For 1St Time Wig Wearers Over 50

Wow, I really am grateful that you're all here today, so I'm Rachelle Godiva secret wigs - and this is my 22 year anniversary of starting Godiva secret, wigs this week, nope. So really it's our excited. I started at a flea market and from there I went to some wig kiosks in malls and then I opened a couple stores in Southern California Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills and we're really known for amazing, wash and wear wigs, and so I'm gon na be sharing. These with you today, I just want to let everybody know that we are videotaping, so got to get that out there and and we're just gon na have fun. So do me a favor turn your phone's off like me, because I always forget so because there are 19 of you today, it's really easy to lose control. So what I've done is given everybody a piece of paper in order of all the wigs I'm going to be putting on I'm gon na put them on me and show you my little tricks and tips with each one and just a couple of side marks. So how many of you have never seen a Godiva secret wig? Alright, a few of you? Okay, a lot of you have okay, and so the most important things to remember are they are wash and wear so. This wig is always going to look like this. If I'm on a cruise ship, my bangs won't frizz like these bangs will you know and they're very light and airy. You can see that the wefts are open and that means your scalp can breathe. So I have many clients and some clients bless you. Some clients in here that wear our wigs every single day and it doesn't inhibit their hair growth because their scalp can breathe. So it's important to know the other thing is, as I'm going to show you each bless you my sweet. Each wig comes in typically each other's colors so like if you are loving this wig. This is freedom in nutmeg F and it is the most popular wig all over the world in the style in this color. But most all of the wigs come in many colors. So if you love the style but you're not loving the color, we can fix that pretty easy. So if you have longer hair, like me, really easy to do all I'm doing, is I'm looping making a bun at the back real low at the nape of my neck, because that becomes the anchor that holds the wigs, secure? Okay. So when I'm putting a wig on, I turn it upside down. So I'm putting my fingers on each side of the label and you'll see that there are cisors like bra straps on all of my wigs. So all you do, is you put your fingers on those straps and you touch the wig almost to your eyebrows, so I look crazy for a minute but I'll get there and then I'm using my thumbs just to tuck my hair in so even though I've got A bun, you can't see it okay, so, instead of going like this and pulling the wig up real quick, go slow, bring it right up to your hairline and see how I've done nothing. It already makes sense on me. Okay, then. The next thing is make sure. There'S little tabs make sure they're, even because the wigs going to feel weird if it's crooked, so at the hairline, even the tabs and another little thing about our tabs. They have a little wire in them, see how they're sticking out right now like wings. That'S don't do it because it doesn't look real. The wires are there to turn in to be right against your temples, see that yeah, aha and make very sure the weeks always at your hairline, because I can't walk around like this and then cut the banks or even a little bit. It'S not my forehead so make sure that the wig is always right at your hairline and for my clients that don't have hair you'll see the line. Okay. Now, when you put a wig on the bangs are typically always too long, but there's a reason, because, with Godiva's secret, wigs we're shipping wigs all over the world a lot of women, a lot of shaped faces, so the bangs can easily be trimmed to to work With your face - and so I do have my hair cutting area for anyone that purchase any of the wigs that are here tonight, we're giving you a great discount, we'll talk about it later, so make a note. If there's anything you like okay and then all I'm doing, instead of taking a wig and doing this, see how that looks, I personally don't like that. Look so always lightly up and back. They are not tight at all. So the tabs have nothing to do they're. Just connected to the wig okay, and when you just you just want it against you, but it's nothing tight and when I put my glasses on all I'm doing is sliding against my temples right in know inside inside, against my face the whole way around my ears. Yes, so just forget the wigs even on just put it graze it against your face. That'S all you have to do just like. You normally do right. Okay, so I'm gon na start taking you through some of these wigs, so we're going to go ahead and I'm going to start with the first wig. This is Christy, you Sandi's silver, so I'm shaking it once I'm just giving you a little reminder tucked it in up at my hairline, even the tabs, and see how it all many already make sense, even though I really haven't done too much to it so again. Instead of flattening down the wig use your fingers and just look how pretty that looks like that: isn't that great and every color it's to me, I think this is the best part. This little sexy part right here, so sometimes we'll thin it or we'll take it. A little shorter but we'll still have that little sexy dip. No everything here is untouched unbrushed. Just the way you would get it out of the box if it was shipped to you yeah, so you can see so for me I would do just a little tweaking, but I like it long as long as it's not in your eyes. If the synthetic fiber - and we only carry very high quality synthetic fiber, no human hair, don't like human hair. Wigs because my business model is about convenience for women and when you buy a human hair, wig you're paying more, but you must blow-dry it curl it all that, and it starts at $ 65. If you're gon na send it out it's a pain in the butt. So this wig Christy sandy silver will always look exactly the way you see it right now, unless you do something weird to it, which I can't say I have them made all over the world. Some are in the u.s.. Some are out and it's more for the colors choices, and things like that and the cap is very important. I, for 22 years I carry my own shampoos conditioners and low-alcohol hair spray. So remember: it's not hair, so we use a higher water content in our hair spray, and so you still spritz it. It gives you a light hold, but shampoo and condition in your sink. I one of our 150 videos is me washing a wig. I show you exactly what I do you wash it in your sink with cold water condition, it shake it and we have a little hook. You let it drip dry, like a wet rat in your shower upside down. You don't touch it, you don't brush it. You do nothing, you walk away and if you wash it at night in the morning, it's dried the way you bought it right side up and - and we say upside down, because it's going to give that lift and never on a wig head, because you want it To air dry, so then I'm just gon na once for every 10 to 15 washings unless I'm putting it on real dirty hair, which I do sometimes or whatever you know: smokey 10 to 15. But don't even worry about that, because I have a secret tips. Brochure of all of our most asked questions, because if you purchase the wig you're spending good money, you want to keep it for a long time and most of our clients own two to 20 and 30 and more wigs. There'S a lot of women in me, besides the one with my hair and sometimes my roots or whatever, so women stop buying shoes, they start buying wigs, okay, okay, let's move on yeah, so next one I love this yeah. It'S uh number two number two number, two, okay and I want you to see: I'm not taking a brush, I'm not teasing it. It'S not taking me 20 minutes before I walk out. So our wigs, if you spend too much time, fingering and playing with them the phonier they are going to look, I seriously mean that because I can spend too much time make it look perfect and then it looks just like a wig. So please don't do that. They'Re made we spent a lot of time. So when I put one on, I really want you to see how fast it makes sense on my head. Okay, so this one imagine you can have some bangs trimmed some women love the all the rest and they want this shorter. Some women take the wig to their hairdresser and say. Do me up finish me up? It only needs a little tweaking very little trimming or thinning will make the wig look great, okay, so great wig right, thank you, so you'll all be able to try all these on afterwards. Next we have Peggy in Nutmeg F. I can see some of you would like Peggy. This is a great little wig, so I always shake it and it looks a little crazy, but look how quick it starts to make sense. Okay and watch my fingers isn't that cute see. I can see this on. You like right now, love it and so the colors, if you'll notice, we do s -- wigs, some without roots, some with roots rooted wigs are $ 20 more than non-rooted wigs. But to me, if you're going blonde many times, you want to try a wig with roots where's, my Jill right and it just what it does is it brings to mention to your face. So if you like you know, it will show off your eyebrows your eyes. Everything so it's fun, so there's a lot of rooted colors to Peggy, okay, okay, let's see what we're doing okay, Selma ginger Brown, James, your Brown, so we do many colors ginger Brown is got warmth to it up at the hairline, even those tabs - and that's it See how quick like try not to beat that it's too much right and so on this? If I have a high forehead, so I probably wouldn't even trim the bangs if they're, not in your eyes when you blink they're perfect, but when. If you blink and they're touching your eyes, it'll make you nuts, so this is Selma ginger Brown I like that. I mean I could go like this and its really great. Now, I'm a blonde under here, but sometimes even the colors. The truth is where everybody is thinking about themselves. No one is really going. Do you have a different color? It'S a shady / today, no one's thinking about it. They are thinking about. How do I look so it really allows you like a lot of women will do the same wig many clients do freedom in four colors different shades into winner. They go a little deeper in the summer. They go a little lighter, it's really fun or if you're like me, I go super short. I go super long, it's like I don't care, I wear a wig and the way it is now you don't have to pretend like. Aren'T we old enough to do whatever the H we want to do yeah yeah, amen, so, okay, I'm gon na! Take you a little curlier now sunset toasted brown, it's the sunset toasted brown up at the hairline, even the tabs. So I'm going to show you what sunset does, because it's pretty fun for women that, like a little fuller, look okay, so every wig isn't for everybody, but some wigs are better for other people. But this has got a little fuller look and I can't own the whole baby down. Did you see what just happened? Okay, so I always make sure when I put a wig on that I've washed my makeup off my hands because otherwise you're starting to get dirt on your wig, so right so the cleaner. You can keep it the longer it's gon na last and look great the less you put on it. It will look like this for a long long time and if you wear a wig every day which most of my clients are switching, but if you wear a wig every day, depending on how your lifestyle is it'll. Last nine eleven months, I'd say every day. So that's pretty good for an average $ 200. You know so that was sunset. Well, the fiber, it's not hair! So when you're, you know when we brush our own hair, our oils are covering it and keeps it youthful and we're cutting it, because new hair is growing in so this as we're wearing it. If your my wigs don't wear out, I just showed somebody. I have wigs that are three and four years old. They look brand new because I switch to, but if you're in a lot of Sun a lot of heat, then they start to dry. But we do have a way to take care of that too. And that's why we sell the conditioner, because we're gently coating, the fibers. This is Kanekalon, it's not human hair, so you want to use a clean brush, commit a brush just for your wigs, like I never would use my own brush with my oils and dirts and then brush my wig, because I want to keep it clean. Okay, but again on the tips, I have all your questions and and people email us from all over the world. I'Ve just spent three hours watching your videos, I don't know which one I want and they learn how they watch us. They mimic how we put it on how we wash it, how we store it. So we've tried - and we continue to try to answer every question, so this sweetiepie is nina iced mocha so check this color out too. So some women want this baby, just full and a lot of women like the front, see closer to the head and then full in the back. It'S got a just a soft curly look, but I can tone it down also, but Jan you see the colors in this, isn't it great and we're really particular it could. I have a secret about curly wigs because so many curly wigs end up looking, not good. So we don't typically go with a tight curl, because the client, now she where's our wigs, they're, easy and all of a sudden you've got a finger. Curl a curly wig you've got to be gentle with it, but not this curl. This is an easy, easy wig to wear okay, so this is Nina no with heats. They manipulate the style with heat and that's why mm-hm? That'S why you don't want to apply heat unless you really know what you're doing, because you'll change the style of the curl? The integrity of the style we chose B and made it easy for you to do so. Okay, so here I'm showing you a brand new wig of the one I had on. I started with freedom. Nutmeg F, it's like you can't be freedom, it's just! I throw it on and that's it. Freedom, nutmeg, F, cute right and you see the roots. So when we say with roots, there are roots running through the entire wig okay, but it's just so easy and it comes in amazing Gray's. I'Ve got Reds, I mean all the most every color you're seen today. Freedom comes with, and without roots, okay, okay, we are running through them. Next Andrea and Mochaccino yeah, it's a real soft color, and so every wig is not going to look amazing on me. Girls, I'm just telling you right now. Okay and so Andrea looks better on other women than me, but I wanted you to see it it's an important week, because it's just real simple you, like it: okay and a lot of clients. Thank you that own this wig also just put it look how cute so a new wig, wearer or a wig, where you get a new wig in the box. We ship it to you. You'Ve, never tried it before. Here'S. What I suggest, with or without a glass of wine play some music sit down somewhere and see what each wig will do. We don't care how you part your own hair part, the wig, the way that you think it looks best on you, because no one's gon na say oh you're parting, your hair, a different way today. You know they don't care they're, not looking so try it behind your ears. Try it in front like connect, make friends with the wig, because they will be your best friends. Okay. So what do you think? Mochaccino? Oh yes, yeah Mochaccino, okay, now abigail silver, mink just sounds good. So yes - and this is a lace front wig, so I want to say something and I'm gon na blow your mind when I put it on right now, but lace front means, there's actual lace in the front. That makes it almost undetectable and you see the scalp. I just want to show you: can you see that so you've got to be very gentle with it, because it will fringe it will rip okay, see that yeah. So you want to treat a good wig you're, paying good money for it, treat it like nice lace. Lingerie, that's the best thing I can compare it to so here we go. No, it's not better. It'S all! It'S a personal choice but check this out. You can wear it back and that's the benefit of a lace front. So in a video I'm like this and I pull it up, look how crazy this is. You see my whole scalp, it looks like my whole. Scalp is moving. Oh yeah, a good wig makes you want to put makeup on put a little lipstick on drop. A couple pounds like and a wig completes so many of us where we look great from here, but sometimes we don't match the top of our head. So let the wind do it, but isn't this awesome I'd have to look. I don't know everything. I don't know everything but okay, so you love it okay, so, let's just here at the same time so far just say the name of the wig you like freedom, okay, okay, Christie. So now I said I have to bring this, maybe no one will want it, but I've got to wear it, so this is Alana in white, so we do a gorgeous white and I wanted you all to see for those of you that you know when you Want to stop coloring your hair, a great way to do that. Some are long and I wouldn't wear a long wig out, but sometimes I'm making a nice candlelight dinner. I want to bring a little something unexpected if you catch my drift. While my hair is damp, I towel dry, it put the wig on. You won't hurt the wig and you'll stay cool. You know within a couple weeks, I'm not washing my red hair in hot water, I'm lukewarm, it's like crazy and it takes up all my energy. You know so red wigs are like the best. So this is cayenne. Spice this is Tiffany neck. You so can I put red on you now yeah. Well, how did I know that from your website and believe me, the website, you guys is amazing. It really is. Can you say that a little louder, please and the videos are really fun to watch look, so we need to get you a mirror again. What can you step for up here again and I've lost my mirrors, I'm out of control better? Oh ok, so you'll see in a minute, but now she can put it behind her ear. She can leave a couple of wispies in front and just take a little turn a little step II. Oh, it's do we get a 10 yeah, it's great thanks for trying that beautiful, alright, that was Tiffany cayenne spice. So when you want a dressier look like I wore Tiffany in a red for my son's wedding, because I had a really you know: um fie dress and my hair, just kind of didn't seem to match it. I needed something that made me more full and dressy and so Tiffany and I teased it. I made sure I had the height. It works great with some good earrings you can, you can tease every wig, yes yeah, that is fantastic. Ok! Next, we've got harmony in maple sugar, so if you'll see no color is identical. There close. This has got a little more warmth to it than like, remember Mochaccino. So let me put this on for you up at the hairline, even the tabs, so the good thing, what I love about harmony is: it's see how it's cut away from my face and they cute harmony. Yeah, it's a cutie, okay, okay, we're getting there! Maybelle, sugar, maple, sugar and now Katie in sandalwood H some women. They just want that more of that straight blonde. Without all the blending and sandalwood H is a great color. Katie is a really fun wig Murray did you ever have Katie. I think you did too six wigs yeah yeah, there's anybody on more than six wigs here, Sheila. How many do you know how many you have twenty? How many do you have? Maybe 10. 10. 12. Okay, you have six! Okay, so see it's! It'S not crazy! It'S you know it's fun, so what I can do with Katie yeah some clients love Katie. Like a big mess. I mean that's their look like that bed like I just got out of bed. The other thing you can do is you can pull it and you can clip it. Okay, so picture it clipped get a little more height up here. You can tease it with my brushes so when you're teasing it and when it's brand new, it's not as easy to tease, because it's so soft. So sometimes even if you spritz a little water or a touch of the low-alcohol hairspray. Just where you're going to tease, then you just slowly not like your own hair. Remember nice lace, lingerie, so just down down and you start to get. I don't know if you can see it. Okay, so that's teasing, but take your time with the wig, but not like did the other, because it's gon na look phony, okay back here, okay, right right right! I agree and I'll. Do you another one, a great idea: anybody have sunglasses easily accessible to them? Okay, so sunglasses are the best trick because if you put them over any wig that no one thinks twice about, is it a wig because again nobody's thinking about you, so you put sunglasses on your head. It doesn't matter if the wigs short or long really. So what oh? Thank you thank you. So that's how easy! So I want to keep saying you know when you try other wigs or in the beginning, when I started my business, I was trying wigs and they took so much time to get it right that I was paranoid if it was windy, if any anything would change The look, but with could I've a secret you just put them on you, just live in them and that's all there is to it awesome the wig grip band, so the wig grip band, I'm going to show you a little later, but it is amazing. We created it's ours and you put it on under a wig and it actually is going to give you a facelift. So I'm going to show you that afterwards, all right, Thank You. Sheila, I'm gon na show you a wig grip ban right now, so they are great, so they say Godiva's secret and that part goes inside against your face. Then I'm wrapping it. It'S got velcro and you make it nice and tight see how I've got it lower. So watch what's gon na happen. Can you see see how I'm getting that this is like the least expensive facelift? Then I gently gently around my ears: okay, just right behind the hairline, because the wig is gon na go right in front of it and remember you don't want the wig longer you want it right at your hairline, so it just lifted me and then I'm gon Na put a wig on and show you, it's called wig grip band and they come they've been like sensational all over the world, and we do them now in small, medium and large. If you're an average, I would almost say take a small because they do stretch its fabric that they do stretch, but it's this secret fabric that grabs on and it's crazy. So I'm going to show you this wig, I don't. Yes, most people do and they love it, there's other options. Sometimes I shove a bobby pin on each side and I'll show you how I do that. Sometimes I wear the wig ribbon. If I'm going somewhere and I'm going to be hugging people I'm at a function, every extra security is smart. If I'm hugging people, I don't want to lose my wig. But if I'm just going to have dinner with my husband, it's not necessary, but again a lot of women. They want it's very important to them. Always we have socialite women they're in the public eye a lot. It'S eight clips, a the wig or a wig band. Like always there is, they would never go without anything. So it's it's a personal choice. Great and what size did you get? Okay, yeah, great and now we're okay and now we're gon na take a break. Anybody have to use the potty, yes all the, and I will say that after two, but all the wigs are adjustable here, but then we do if some, if these are too tight, we do some large, wigs or like freedom we do enlarge. Also, we have so many clients if we're getting a lot of requests, then we'll do it, and so there are large wigs. There are petite wigs, but it's also the sizing here. Okay, the question about the wig grip band too: they come in small, medium large. They come in blondes, Browns, blacks and soon-to-be grays, and so yeah they they're just great. So I'm gon na put this wig on this is Diana in marble brown eh forty-five years I've been wearing wigs. If I can't do it now, I think it Oh from okay! Isn'T this cute, and so this is again a lace front, wig, okay, so really pretty and marbled Brown eh not every week comes from marble Brown H, but this is great and you could trim bangs to do whatever you want to it. Nick you. I could see you in this: I could okay, we did Katie okay, so I'm gon na take this off. For now this is Rachelle my namesake and nutmeg out, because this is how my hair used to look except it would frizz you know, but this Rachelle she will never frizz. It feels like a lot of hair but should have taken this to Nashville with my boots, but but just know, I can tone it down. I can tone it down. You know I can pull it back. I can clip it. I can give myself some height just by fingering some pieces, just see how I'm doing that forget what the bangs look like right now, but I can clip it right in back, you know and if you buy a wig that matches your hair color the good benefit. If your hair will work in, you can pull your hair to work with it. You can use the point of our teasing brush and just gently lift the wig and pull out just a little bit, not too much, and then it will completely make sense. So, just to give you a little idea, I'm going to pull out a little of my hair. Can you see? Does that? Does that help you see, so you can do that with any wig if it matches. You know, of course, if it doesn't you're not doing that, but but this is Rachelle and it's just a great wig, so we've got two left and then I'm going to show you a couple of pieces. We don't carry a lot. We don't carry thousands of wigs and pieces, we only carry what looks real so keep those in mind. Keep that in mind when I'm showing you the pieces. You would never wear any kind of clip under a wig, nothing that would rip the fiber. So you just stand there look beautiful, so all I'm doing is gathering her hair behind her ears, because right now, when we're starting, I don't want to leave any hair out. I just want to see the wig on her I'm making a nice lo loop and just stand right there up at the hairline yeah, even the tabs, a lot of hair well, and so yes - and so I just I want you to see before I do anything Just take a little take a little look okay! Well, I will put that on you after, but I want to show you something else to turn around so some clients they will put this wig on and say: Oh too much too much take it off. No because I want to show you what you can do with the wig like this, so stay right there so because it matches her color. I can even take these sides twist. It clip it. I don't have a clip right here, so take a little slow turn. Look at that, oh you had a clip. Where is your clip here? Tiny, that's! Okay! I want to show you there. That'S alright! So turn back around so see right away, just twisting it so little little things make a big difference. It'S a beautiful color! So now let's sit: let's do something else. What if she yeah? Okay, go have a seat, so keep in mind when you're wearing other colors, let's say you're, typically a brunette, but you want to wear more of a warm just add a little red eyeshadow put if you're wearing a deeper color put a little more, and while I'm Talking about it, eyebrows so very important, because if you're wearing a great head of hair, you have got to have some kind of a little eyebrow or it's not going to make sense. This is all about the illusion, because no one is looking like. Oh they're, just you know, do you stand out? No, but do you look really good? Yes, that's what you're going for the illusion. So when you're going to get a wig and wear it just keep in mind, just add your little eyebrows. That'S my suggestion to you. Okay, did that one whoops okay last wig and I'm gon na show you a couple pieces. This is Candice in creamy toffee. My nickname for Candice is pure sex because it makes me feel sexy. So watch, oh yeah! Yes, you know some wigs are for the husbands. So I'm not I'm too old and not wearing it out like this, although I might want to, but what I will do is just trim it a little bit. So if I just take it to here, I have all this. You know pretty and the great thing with Candice I can twist it put it up, clip it. Some women only wear it clipped up, so they don't cut it shorter. So isn't that pretty so that is Candice. We can do many many things with it. Now. Just a couple of pieces, and then you know what I need Sheila could you hand me the turban, that's right near you right on your right, a turban that pink or the yeah. Thank you so again for travel. If your bangs frizz you're already going to be wearing a scarf or a hat or you have a friend going through chemo, this is an amazing gift. This is called the Danielle bang. I call it bangs on a headband so watch how easy remove the price tag. So it's just a headband and it doesn't matter where it sits here. It matters that it's not in your eyes, okay and then I'm just giving you a little hint of what you can do with it, and it just gives me a little hair and again, if you're on a cruise or you're traveling whatever these are ways to not Worry to make your life easier, functioning with hair, but for cancer patients. Amazing. This is a sleep cap and we do a full selection of turbans. Also, so that's the bang, I'm going to show you one of my favorites. This is called a long top, so any clients you happy with your hair but you're just too flat here you want more at the crown. So this is a piece we worked on for years and it is now amazing and it comes in a medium top. That'S just like to here and then the long top, so it's on metal clips, but our clips have little rubber grippers, and that means when you clip it on it's not going to hurt your hair. It'S just securing on the rubber gripper so for snaps, and so the most important part is getting it in the right place. So I may not be perfect, but you'll get the idea. This is how you put it on you, flip it right over and I'll look, and does it look the way I want it in the front? Okay, so once I get it, how I want it in the front, am i okay? Okay, okay, great once I get it the way I want it in the front, then I'm snapping listen and that's it, and so the piece itself is thin. It'S mainly up here, it's machine teased, and then we also do what we call a monofilament long and medium top. That'S where you could. It looks like you can see through to the scalp but watch what else I can do with this. Sometimes women just want that. Little extra yeah, it's all me - and you can do this with a wig if it matches just leave that part of your hair out and then twist the wig up so it'll work that way too. So this is a long top, and it's just amazing. We have women that they will never be without it and they keep one for everyday and then one for dressy. Mm-Hmm and again, let me see your lengths. Yes, medium, you, you would be um, you would be a medium, it may even be a slightly longer and then you would just barely trim it mm-hmm and when you're, when you're choosing a color on a piece. Of course, wigs are so much easier. Okay, but when you're choosing a color on a piece take into consideration what part of the hair is going to be seen like if I'm planning on wearing this up, see how different my hair color is here from my own color, so take pick a blend. That'S close and because women's hair comes in a billion colors, these only come in maybe 20 colors. So what I suggest is take the piece always to your hairdresser and say: make me this color or keep me this color and and when I'm into wearing pieces. I'M always every visit take it to my hairdresser because she wants to get creative and try something new. I don't want her to if she's got a match, so I'm bringing my piece with me every time and she will pick let her. Let her be responsible to make your hair match the color that you want right, right, perfect! Well, it's routed and all of the pieces are highlighted because you are working. We know you're working with different colors, but you can trim you can have your hairdresser trim bangs into this, and even the medium top about the length of Cindy's hair. Your hairdresser can take it to 2 inches long. She can take the whole thing short. If you have short hair, it's mainly, this is what we're looking for on top okay, but yeah. Isn'T that cute and then the best secret? I can tell you about a top piece. Is unsnap it when you take it off and don't pull it through. Your hair lift it and roll it away because we want to keep all the hair. We have so don't just yank it and tangle and you're pulling your hair and it's a big mess. So just roll it away. Remember, remember the wig Christy that we love that little sexy dip. So this is styled after Christy, but it's only a piece: it's for short haired women root, so your hair may be too short for a piece, but I want it. So I'm just looking just down you're good, just look at me, okay, because I want to get a feel for where do I want that height and we're just going to play snapping the two in front? So again, I'm not using a brush, I'm not teasing it! I'Ve done nothing except for the price tag right, so let me see I'm gon na snap, it okay, listen for the snap, I'm snapping the floor and if someone has fine hair, I'm not pulling this back, because the whole piece is going to go back. Real short here is Christy, so just between these two we can observe, but freedom is Messier. A little shaggy ER christy is cleaner, shorter. So here is Christy, so notice the length and notice how clean here not shaggy, not punky, okay, that is Christy. So here's freedom. Okay, you have a mental with a mental of this, so you can start to see. None of them are alike, really yeah yeah and that's why I'm having you circle on there, because it helps you and it helps me otherwise, you know we'll go crazy and you have to start somewhere so many clients in the beginning. They'Ll pick they'll pick one. That kind of resembles them and then they'll pick us another, that's a little further out and have some fun and its really great to experience both. While I'm saying that remember, I say you know with it with or without a glass of wine play with your wig. When you're getting used to it, part two is: if you can, if you need that extra confidence before you're wearing it to work or family, go where nobody knows, you go to a mall, go to the markets, go wherever and you have my permission. Looking as many mirrors as you can, and every time you look, you're gon na go, looks pretty good, looks pretty good and then you're gon na get home and take the wig off and you will be more used to the wig than your own hair right right. So it's a really good idea, another very important thing, some clients they come into the stores or work with a consultant. They are very apprehensive. They, you know everyone's different and they are feeling a lot of trepidation about wearing the wig. They don't know what their husband's going to say: they're family. So if it's important to you, I say, sit the person down, but before you do look in the mirror and say why do I like this wig makes me feel pretty it's easy for me. I'M so frustrated with my hair: I'm upset all the time sit, the husband sit, the daughter sit, who over down and say, honey. I love you, but I want to wear this wig, I feel pretty in it. I'M hate my hair. I want to feel good. Will you support me in wearing the wig and get the yes okay, cuz we're all women we're taking care of everybody, we're thinking about everybody except not moi? So this is the time with a wig and some women go. I don't care what the hell he's saying. I'M wearing this wig and that's okay too, but if you need to say what you need and that's not easy for a lot of us yeah yeah. So if it's hard for you, it's even more important for you to use the muscle of saying what you need from the people that love you, because everyone is used to you looking day in and day out, the same way they're used to it and they make Anything else wrong, but these aren't wrong they're, just different, so don't make different wrong.
