Steps best of friends welcome back to my channel, so i have another amazon review for you and again it's by the company eunice definitely have been working with them a lot and i am not mad at it. Okay. So today i have a colored wig and this is a body wave 24 inch wig and this is in their color ginger. Alright, so i'm gon na take the wig out the box. It comes all wrapped up with a knit and everything like this. So this is what it looks like straight out: the box. Okay, it's definitely soft, but upon looking at it, it's one of those wigs that has the tracks on the closure, and i myself don't really like those. But you know it is what it is. They say that this is ginger. This is more like a honey blonde to me, but we can make it ginger if that's what y'all want to go for. So, let's, let's make this ginger so um, because this is a closure unit and i would say this is a 5x5 closure unit right and, as you can see, they have those tracks sewn on and therefore they're all right here. So you only could do a middle part, a middle center part. That is it with this. You can't even really plug the front of the hairline, because it is definitely tracks in the front, not all the way. In the front. You probably have a half an inch to work with, and that's not a lot. If i would say if companies do closures like this, they definitely need to push the tracks a little bit further back. So we can get a little bit more room to do baby hairs and to plug the hairline, so it can look as natural as possible. Okay, so this is the wig like i said, the hair is definitely soft. Okay and it's, i think it's supposed to be 150 density i'll leave the specs to this wig down below in the description box, but it does come with three combs and adjustable straps. I will be adding an elastic band in here just to help it be glueless. Just in case, if i want to wear glue this or again, i could um, because it is lace, i can definitely adhere it down with some like liquid gold or some even spray, or even use regular glue, so yeah. So anyway, what else comes in the bag? So you get a little goodie bag and you get a scarf some eyelashes. My best friends comes in and take my eyelashes when i get them like these and then some clips um. You will also get this. It says merry christmas and it's a santa on there. So, let's see what this is: oh, it's a cute little holiday card, so it looks like that. It'S a pop-up holiday card in the house, um a thank you letter all right and then you get a wig cap, a beige wig cap and a stocking which is interesting, but they send you a christmas stocking so that is it that's in this bag. So so we're gon na actually watercolor it ginger, because it's on the verge of being like that uh, you know gingerish color but, like i said to me, it's on a ver on a honey blondish side, but i can wear a ginger wig. You know i love ginger on me, so let me get the ginger okay, so i looked in my color area over there and i have ginger and french cognac. So i have two gingers and a half bottle of french cognac, so i'm gon na mix those together to see what color it comes out again. This is a good base to um watercolor, a wig, this color because um it's light enough to deposit a color like this before we actually go. Watercolored i wanted to, you, know, put the hair on so you can see the color on me without me. Altering the color, but that's the wig, so it's definitely a snug cap, i'm a size, 22 and a half um, but yeah. So, for me this definitely has to be altered because it's like reese's pieces, peanut butter cup, like with the hair on my skin, i'm the reese's. This is a peanut butter, like you feel me, but it's cute. It has potential and we're gon na give it the potential. Let'S go. Do it all right, so we're in the kitchen. So the first thing i did was get my bucket put some hot tap water in there and i'm gon na. Let my wig go ahead and soak for about three minutes just to get those strands ready for water coloring. So it looks well it's a gloomy day in l.a. So it's a bit dark in my house right now, so i'ma, just let it marinate in here. Okay and i'll be back when it's time to do it, but what i did decide is: i'm gon na do two gingers in the water right and then, if i want, i'm gon na hit the root with some french cognac a little darker color. To give it a little little uh shadow root, you feel me so ginger french cognac on the root all right, so i dumped both bottles of the ginger here and i took my wet wig out and then we're just gon na dump it. So all the strands could get hit with that color. Okay, make sure the middle is getting it the top. I should have tossed a little bit of yellow on this thing, because i made it a little vibrant, okay and then now i'm gon na just let it sit and marinade we just we're just making the color a little bit more wearable for me, okay, so i'm Gon na just let it sit in here for about three minutes now. I did not put anything on my lace. It'S pure lace, just in this water. If it gets colored, then i'll just go in with some color remover and take it off um but yeah. It'S a closure. It'S really not going to bother me because i could just hit it with some makeup but yeah. So my fingers are stained. Ignore those and basically you can already see the color is on there so yeah. So this is what the wig looked like. After i, water colored, it ginger, and i styled it of course, so after this we're just going to go straight into the install, but she came out really good. I did not put the dark root on there. I just did pure ginger um, and i think this is a good base for, like any colors so like. If you decide that you want to go red - or maybe a purple like this - would be a good base for you, because the wig is already light enough and you don't have to do the bleaching yourself, you can just add the color. If you do not want that, um color that it comes in all right, so let's do this glueless install this is gon na, be a fast go through install i'm gon na cut the seams off the closure, and you are guys already know that this is not A normal closure, so you only working with a middle part and you do not have a lot of a parting space in the front or a plucking space in the front. I should say to really customize your your hairline. So if you are not comfortable with doing that, then this is a perfect wig for you, because it's basically a throw on wig. All you really need is an elastic band and you're good to go all right, so i'm gon na go ahead and cut off the lace and i'm going to use boho liquid gold to adhere this wig down. This is a glueless method. This product does not contain any alcohol, which is wonderful and i'm going to go ahead and use that on my skin i didn't put any on my cap or hairline. I just put on my a little thin layer on my skin and i press the lace down once the lace is pressed down. I am going to go with my blow dryer on warm and blow dry it until it dries completely down. So, as you saw, i curled my baby hairs, the baby hairs that i could get from the front of the hairline and then i'm going to lay them down with some spritz and basically i'm just after i lay my baby hair down with some sprints, i'm going To just make sure that my wig is looking nice all the fly-aways are down. You know it looks sleek, i'm gon na use some spritz and i'm gon na rub it in my hand, to put it on top of my wig to just make sure that it just looks you know really put together and basically that's the end of this video. You guys um, the hair is really nice. It'S a nice density as well. If you are interested in this wig, i will definitely leave the information for this particular wig down below in the description box. For you guys again, this is a good base to do any color so like. If you want a orange, if you want a red, if you want a ginger, even a lime. Green would go good on that wig because it was light enough. It'S not 613, but it was definitely light enough, for you know those types of colors, but you can't do pastels, but you could get away with like a lime, green or um. Baby blue would not work because i think it'll turn green but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video again.
