I used the light blonde it will give a light color as seen in the video. Other colors may show darker. I advise if you are using any other color not suggested that I used, to patch test FIRSTLY before doing your whole wig. https://amzn.to/3277wRn

Are you light too fair-skinned and we're transparent, let's color, and it absolutely matches you until you bleach the knots and then you are left with a brown rim around your head. Well, today's video I'm going to share with you my technique on how I correct this. Let'S jump right into this video all right so today is part two of my series of trying to find a perfect Scout color for anyone that is my complexion or lighter. If you missed part, one make sure to go check out that video. I will explain more about that video later on in this video, but first we're going to apply this wig. This wig is from West kiss hair. I will be also discussing the specs and details of this wig later in today's video. I'M just using the heart hole spray to apply this wig down today's video. I want to focus on trying to help anyone who has a lace, wig and their scalp color is way too dark, or should I say the lace color is way too dark and you need to lighten it up without having to waste your money, because I know What it's like, so I'm going to show you a technique in today's video that you can use to achieve a lighter Scout color, and I'm also going to share with you the best lace colored I feel like will work for anyone that is lighter than me. As for the curls, I'm using my t3 wand curler and I absolutely love this curler and I'm just applying curls throughout the hair and yeah. That'S basically how I achieved the curls, so imma finish this out and then we're going to jump into this. Video cannot see my previous video. Let me just catch you up a little bit. I get lots of questions, ladies, who are my complexion or lighter wanting to know when I go to apply my wigs. The lace color is always too dark, not in the range of my actual Scout color. So right now, I am on a mission to find the perfect technique that I can use to achieve a color that is suitable for anyone. That'S my complexion or lighter because our scalps are not brown. So if you don't know the process, when you bleached your nuts normally the knots will work just like hair color from black to blond. So that's the same process when it comes to bleaching knots on wigs to try to achieve the color of the scalp. Today'S hair comes from West kiss hair is the loose deep wave. It is a 13 by 4 lace front cap and it is 180 percent density. So you get a lot of hair on this wig, so it's very, very thick, very dense. I do love the natural wave pattern. However, I just wanted to enhance it, so I dig at these curls and the lace. Color is transparent, lace which I feel like works. Really really well for anyone who is lighter than me because a lot of times when I wear transparent, it's always a little bit too light on me. But let me just be clear about this right now when I'm referring to the word transparent. I am NOT talking about how undetectable the lace is, I'm talking about the actual color of the lace if you're looking for the invisible lace, this lace is not that this is transparent. Regular lace and, like I said transparent, refers to the color of the lace, not the actual visibility of the lace. I will be sure to put this wig down in the description box, for you guys if you are interested check the description box I'll show you guys exactly. I want to show you all exactly how I achieved the scalp color, because it is a bit different and I'm actually trying out something new, I'm more so in the light brown range when it comes to lace colors. But I want you guys to see how an orange the nuts look right now, if you are lighter than me, you feel like that. The light light brown lace color is too dark for you. It here will definitely work for you and helping you change that lace. Color and also I just feel like transparent lace, colors are more suitable for anyone who is lighter than me. If you have problems finding that color, so I'm gon na show you all exactly what I did to change the scalp color. Alright, let's jump right into the tutorial. This is what the transparent lace color looks like it has a whitish tint to it, and this is why I say that it is more suitable for anyone that is lighter. However, if you are darker - and you want to customize your own lace color, then this could work as a base for you to change. If you know how to do that now, as you can see, the knots that are bleached are giving off a brownish tint. So, even after you bleach, the knots is going to make the lace appear. That is brown, but actually the knots on the lace is the color that you're seeing so, therefore it can be all off. So I found these L'Oreal magic root touch-ups and I decided to try this out to see if I cannot only change the lace color, but if you need to bleach the nuts can this also help to make everything, even in color the lace and the nut? So I'm going to use this lightest color, which is a light medium blonde, and I'm going to use that to see if it can help now it does come with this arm. Applicators it's, but it's very detailed. So I feel like you can hit the spots that you want right now, I'm just going to spray the inside of the cap and, as you can see, it is changing the color and making it lighter around the brown area so that the lace and also the Nuts can be one color now these do come in different colors. As you seen, I have two colors, because I was kind of testing these out just to see which one I wanted and when I tried the dark blonde. It was way too dark. So do not use the dark blonde if you are looking to get a lighter Scout color once you apply it to the inside of the cap. Of course you want to let it dry for one minute I took my blow-dryer to it to speed up the process. Now you will have to do a second step, so just wait a second before you decide to click out this video and think your all right. So once that's done just turn your wig back to the right side and then we're going to take that spray and add it in the parting, because sometimes the spray won't seep through onto the hair and if you over bleach, sometimes you can get spill outs on The hair, so if you have you near that, you can use that to correct it and then, if you get something on the hair, you can kind of go back with a little bit of mascara to get the roots of the hair. But as you can see, it looks so good compared to what it was looking like. There'S really no brown spots, and I absolutely love that another thing I like about this L'Oreal color is, it is temporary and the smell is not intense at all. It actually has no smell, but I think this looks so much better when it comes to changing the lace color. I do feel like I need to play with it a little bit more. However, I am loving the results from this, so if you love the results, definitely drop me a comment and let me know if you're going to try this out, and I believe that this will also work for anyone who is darker and if you need to change The lace color - I think this will work for that too, but I've only tested out these two colors. However, I'm definitely gon na play with this a little bit more and see what I can achieve, because a lot of times bleaching, the nuts trying to get them to that lighter color, can cause you to have more shedding with your wigs, and you definitely don't want That and then foundations I mean while they work. Sometimes they can be a bit messy. This hair color, this temporary hair color touch-up, is not messy at all, and that's the one thing I do appreciate about it. Alright, so let me know what you think about this hair. I absolutely love the way everything turned out. I will put everything in a description box so make sure to check there if you are looking for discounts products all like this stuff be sure to subscribe, and I will see you back in my next video. Mrs. Wriight: I really appreciate the free game and tips you give out to help us girls slay our wigs and feel good about it. Thank you

nicole mcclarin: Another great idea (although takes time and skill, I’m a stylist” is buying a 613 wig and doing a tint back. I just just dye it red orange first (this makes sure the color doesn’t go green) then apply a custom dark brown color and avoid the k knots and you’ll have 0 warmth. Also toning the knots with like a level 8 or 9 ash tones it out as well.

Donna Wallace: This is the bomb!!! I always have a problem with my lace color. I've tried everything and this is it. I git the root dye yesterday and am a happy camper today and zero baby hairs! Thank you Marie! #precioussquad

Andrea Ali-Boulding: Thank you our "instructor of staying gorgeous"! This video was definitely for me today!

Tammie F. Taylor: Thank you ! I'm your complexion and have been struggling for YEARS to find ways to lighten the lace after bleaching knots. And it's crazy that so many vendors still don't carry transparent and/or HD lace for us lighter skinned folks. And I've found that some vendors only carry transparent lace in straight and body wave and not in curly patterns.

Beauty by Jay Morris: The hair is gorgeous, I like the idea of using the the Root Touch Up , that is a amazing, good looking out Marie #precioussquad

Brittany Callahan: Very good idea!! Thank you for this awesome tip it's very helpful. I'll have to give it a try next application plus those curls are giving me life #precioussquad

Saara Hovinen 🦩: Thank you!! This helped me alot. Do you know how long does 1 bottle of this Loreal Root touch up last? Ps. Love your videos. Greetings from Finland

Miriam Barton: I’m gonna try this you’re so innovative

Butterscotchchick: Definitely better! Thanks for sharing this Marie. I don't bleach knots because of the red tinge that they gives. That looks very odd to me.

Jackie Davis: Your Hair Advice is always !!! Love U Sis

Erica Robinson: Love it!!

Model C: Good idea I’m going to try this thanks

Marie Twist: Excellent! Thanks for the idea

constance williams: Looks great as usual.

Carrie Burch: I am very new to wigs as in I am about to buy my first one. I have been binge watching your videos, so that when I do order my first wig, I will have some knowledge. I will also know what products to purchase. Thank you for providing all of this good information! Ok, I have to be honest…I’m still trying to fully understand what knots are... lol. I think know, and I’m sure I will know better once I get my first wig.

theshakiladiaries: Will you be doing one for deeper complexions? Oh and nice choice of music for the video!

Char F: Great advice!!

Bee The Messiah: That might work!! Thanks you Ms Precious!!

DreVonna Small: I’m definitely going to try this

Thatss Jess: I have to try this. I'd given up on wigs because bleaching the knots and the lace bring too dark was a hassle.

It's My Life Daralynn: #Precioussquad Here to support and leave a comment before the video starts because it's always good!

Chizzy: Thank you This was needed

Yakisha Merritt: Can brown/darker women use the L'Oreal in a darker color, one that fits our complexion? Im gonna try this method and see. Thanks for the tip.

Amina Rose: Do they have a shade for brown skin?

Kim Mills: You are my favorite youtuber!!! You give great advice even for me. I am Caucasian. Look forward to every video!

Carolyn Davis: Yes this was a great tip.

Lindsay Erin: ooh ima have to try this, tysm for this!

Kimberly Kyles: Marie this look

DEE.BEASTY: Gonna try this !

Yaeyo Duke: I tried this a couple of weeks ago but only on the bottom. I finished it off with freeze spray.

Lynn T.: Hi Ms Precious, I noticed you got your braces off, you have a beautiful smile, thanks for the video!

Patricia Scott: I tried to get a transparent lace wig from West Kiss and they said there is a shortage on all transparent lace because of covid! :( Sot I last night I just bought a couple of bundles instead from Nadula thinking I better get this lace before it's all gone but now I saw some bad reviews on the hair... :( I hope I did not waste my money....If I get makeup on the hair while putting it on the part, I spray a dark beauty supply touch up hair color on a tooth brush and brush it on the area cuz mascara seems to thick and the brush picks up hair

Shantel Banks: Do you think this would work on medium brown lace ?

perfect: I'm about your complexion I always wind up with med brown lace you think that would work too lighten the lace to make it blend and melt more

alwayscece: I’m lightskin and my lace was brown it was my first wig and i messed it up

nicole myers: How is this method vs. sally Hansen spray? I definitely want to try this because I’m Caucasian and I always have trouble finding the units I want in a light lace. I also worry about these methods with getting wet, if it rains or something. Oh and I have ordered your Marie’s fake scalp on the prettylux hair website with the new clear lace but they only have one color hair available and long length. They really don’t have any shorter lengths or different colors available with the clear or transparent lace. My 1st wig doesn’t have any light lace for me either which is really a bummer. I’ve really come to realize I’m way better with the shorter length hair. Every time I order long hair it’s just too much hair for me. It’s heavy and a lot of times I realize I get way more lifting and slippage because the hair is so heavy even when I purchase the lighter density. But I’m excited to receive these units. I will update when they come.thanks Marie for all the time and effort u put into helping us ladies achieve or best look much love and appreciate

Thee Sag Girl: The lighting is perfect on you.... what is it?

Lovely Bryana: Genius!!!!

Billy Bobby Bill: I had to upgrade to HD lace it’s the only lace that’s truly transparent

Brianna King: I’m really dead at the “wait a second before you click out of this video”

Going from negative to positive with TeeTeeTanisha: So smart!!!

Lesego: I can look for the loreal magic root since I don't have access to purple shampoo

Patricia Tabron: I love the new look but what color should I get I'm about a shade darker than you

DreaM: I will be trying

Chizzy: She got prettier

Seven Buttler: Thx because it seems like mine is coming out orange. And I feel really discouraged.
