How To Style: Janet Collection Essentials Synthetic Hair Hd Lace Wig - Ash

Today, i'm going to show you how i style and wear this ash wig from the janet collection. So first i start by cutting the lace and then i pin the hair back so that way i can start to pull out the baby hairs now. Sometimes these wig comes with baby hairs, but they're just too long or it's just not enough. So that's why you'll see me just cutting here to get the right amount of baby hairs that i would like, and then i just continue doing so until i find enough. So sometimes i'll just push it back a little more just trying to get that perfect baby, slash, adult hair and then next i'll grab my blow dryer and my got to be glue and start to glue the wig or spray the wig down. Now this actually takes quite a bit of time, probably like 10 minutes or so. If you really take your time and make sure that it is laid down. So i fast forwarded it a little bit, but i kind of just wanted to show you guys what it actually looks like it's, not a super quick process. Take your time when gluing your wig down just to make sure that one is secure and two it looks good. I know i make some pretty weird facial expressions, it's just because i'm trying to make sure that it's actually glued down so i'll. Just let the video play so you guys can see how this goes so then i'll just continue to do this process until i'm comfortable with what it looks like and then i'll. Let my hair down see what it looks like and then i'll start the same process on the other side. Now this wig says it's a transparent, hd wig, but it's harder to find those for dark skin. So we are going to touch up the part. That'S not blending in with my scalp at the end, so fear not. I know we are gluing it down, but you can still see the lace. It'S okay. It will be fixed um, but yeah, i'm just gon na. Let the video play again. It'S sped up a little bit this time, but just so you guys get the gist that it takes some time to spray the wig down. So i'm just going to let this play out for you all. The hair is glued down to my liking. I don't always have it to be perfect, but you guys can see it's still a little puffy or wiggy, and i don't really like that so um before i lay that down, i'm going to start by cutting some layers in just to kind of make the wig Frame my face more and it doesn't look so wiggy i feel like if it frames your face, it just kind of looks more natural style. I don't know so just fast, forwarding it and showing you guys how i cut the hair. Of course, this is not perfect. I um just use some really sharp, sheer scissors and cut it. How i see fit it's really not perfect, but i just wanted a few layers to give it a little more pizzazz, okay. So next we're gon na take this spray bottle and a curling rod, and we are going to flatten out this wig because it looks super wiggy and just puffy. So this part is so crucial to me in making your wig look natural, i'm leaving it just puffy. Just it's super uncustomized, and if you want that super natural sleigh, you want to take time to lay it down. Of course it's never perfect, but taking this time to really even go under the part and flattening it out, really makes a difference to me and you just really really want to take your time. So i sped it up for the sake of time for this video, but i like to go section by section spraying spray by spray and just really trying to lay the wig down. I think if i had a hot comb, it would go better but yeah just really again taking my time to really flatten out the puffiness of the wig, because the wig naturally comes puffy, so do the best you can with what you can take your time. This takes another 10 to 15 minutes if you're really going in and doing it right, but yeah, that's just another way. I like to customize my wig to make it a little more natural and it does take time. I just want to reiterate that it does actually take quite a bit of time. Okay. Next, i just want to grab some makeup, so i use um the same powder that i used to set my face and an eyeshadow brush, and this is where i go in with powder to fix that untranslucent lace. So i just take a ton of powder and go section by section and really put it in that part. So that way it just looks more natural to me, a lace never looks natural like completely natural. You guys there's ways to make it appear as natural as possible, but your lace is pretty much going to be detectable. If you are around people that understand or know lace, wigs, general public won't really notice, but it's a lace front. I completely. I fully acknowledge when i wear lace fronts that they are detectable, so i never will say what lace undetectable but yeah. So, even on the sides too, it's not perfect, but usually that part is covered up so i'll still go ahead and put powder in, and you really just want to make sure that you take your time and apply a lot of powder, because there's times where i Apply a lot of powder and i feel like it's all covered up, then it won't be so another part of the wig application process where you'll really really just want to take your time, and then i finished with my makeup. So this is my favorite setting spray random, but i just went and set my face and after that i took my hair down so sorry that my face didn't fully dry um. This is the end of the video, so you guys can see what the wig looks. Like it still has volume, but it doesn't have so much of that wiggy effect, and that is how i style this wig here are a few pictures of me wearing this wig.
