I am casey jabrie and today i'm gon na be installing styling and cutting up this unit for you guys and luckily for y'all. This unit is a hundred dollars, actually it's less than 100 so get into it like. This is the whole look and i've already posted pictures on instagram by now. Don'T know what you do to me between me and you. I feel a chemistry. Don'T you understand is me, sir. Is you make me oh day long? It'S not that i don't want you here. It'S something about the way you stare, i know. Is i just wanna all right, so i think i have the bar cut to my liking, but i'm sure it's not perfect, because i can't see in the back of my head, i tried to do a little mirror against. No, it just didn't work, so i mean the front cut perfect, the back ain't, my business, okay um. As you guys can see, this lace does not match my skin um, i'm not sure what kind of lace this is, but this is an easy fix. You do have to tweak the lace a little bit unless you're, just like really really light um. So i'm gon na take this off, do not mind my braids. These are some. I don't even remember when i braided my hair, maybe like a month ago, i braided my hair. This is like a month old braid, so i'm just going to put on my stocking cap in which they provided i'm just going to sit it on my head, make sure all my hair is pushed back and then i'm going to bring the cap down. I'M just going to take my scissors cut out a small hole and then stretch it out for my ear. Like that same thing, for the other side, i think the rest of my hair is pretty much slicked back. So now what i'm going to do is take my got to be, and then i'm going to spray this stuff all over my hairline and then we'll dry. It up it's going to be our stocking kit um, if you guys do not know, what's the purpose of this. Basically, it just creates a new scalp up underneath the wig. Instead of you know your hair, which is most likely dark underneath the wig. This is going to create a scalp look. I hope i'm making sense. I try to explain it to you guys, like the simplest way that i can because, like the number one thing that i get when i tell people to just like try it, you know try doing your own week, they're like it's so complicated like i don't know Where to start so i just try to put things in like the simplest, the simplest terms, but i'm putting a good little amount on this. Now, i'm going to take my blow dryer and i'm going to dry this until it's completely dry. Now i can go ahead and start cutting my cap, but i'm going to leave this thick band part on because basically that's going to hold together the back of the cap. So it's not just flapping open um. It'S gon na keep the cap together. So i have pulled this back and just so you guys can see what i mean if i was to cut this. Basically, the back of this would just be open, but since i kept it, it's going to keep my hair up underneath and it's going to keep my hair protected. If you guys, if that makes sense, but now i'm just going to cut all of the excess cap off okay, i fixed the lighting but um you want to get as close to your hairline as you can possibly get, because that's pretty much all you want to Cover is your hair, so pull it up, pull it back if you have to to get close, try not to cut yourself, because i have cut myself before, especially with these little scissors, but they literally get the closest to um cutting off most of the caps. So i like to use like very, very small shears, and it's really time to get some more because these are kind of dull now but um you just want to pull that cap back. You don't want no extra cap. I literally look like my dad. This is disgusting, but now the next step is to put makeup on the cap, and you want this makeup to be as close to your skin tone as you can get it, maybe just a little bit darker, never lighter, though, because you'll be able to tell, and It won't look like scalp, even though real scalp is lighter than our skin tone. I don't know why. Just on wigs, it's just it's better. If you just make the cap and the lace, your exact skin tone. That way, it just looks like it blends better, and it just makes a little bit more sense. So i'm just putting this powder that, as you guys can tell it's super duper close to my skin tone. It'S literally perfect i've been using it for so long. For my um wigs, you got to just find that perfect, perfect shade and it's going to hit every single time, so i'm just putting this all over the cap. Now i'm bald. This is literally a bald cap. At this point, i'm just going to try on the wig just to see how it look now that i have on my cap, see if i need to do anything else with my cap, pull it back a little bit more, so i'm just going to throw on The wig and you will know if you need to pull back your cap if you can see your ball cap up underneath the wig and right now, the only places where i'm really seeing my cap is right here on the sides. So i will pull up my cap just a little bit, but everywhere else looks good. I can't tell where my cap starts to end only on the side, so i'm going to just pull these up just a little bit and cut them. I can no longer see the cap right there, so that's good! Everything is good cool. Let'S take this back off before i put down my wig. What i'm going to do is take some 91 alcohol, and this stuff is not good for your skin, but it's necessary to ensure that there is nothing, no sweat, no makeup or anything on your hairline before you put glue, because you do not want to have a Reaction, i'm just cleaning off my ears and everything making sure remember when i was telling you guys that basically, this lace is clearly not my skin tone. So what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na go ahead. I'M gon na go back in with that makeup that i used on my cap and basically, what i'm going to do is just brush it on the lace all over um, especially on the inside of the lace. So i'm going to just apply it here and then i'm going to apply it all around the hairline in the front. So now the lace is pretty much my skin color. So i'm just about to pop the wig back on and yup. It is a blending already nicely, as you guys can see. I didn't put any makeup on like the tip, because i didn't need it here, but you can tell the color difference down the part and right here from where i apply the makeup. So that's just a quick little tip if you guys ever get a unit where, like the lace is super light, is you can easily fix it with a powder um? I know some people use concealer or foundation, but i don't like to do that because you know it could potentially wet the hair. So i just use a powder and it works just as good. Some of this hair is not going to get laid down because it goes past my ears, so i'm going to do is just clip that up and then use my scissors to go ahead and cut that hair off. So my ear will be able to come out. You see that now i'm going to do the same thing on the other side yep so now literally, all i have to do is glue it down. So i'm going to peel it back. Then i'm going to take my good old, handy, dandy, ghost bond and i'm going to do maybe two layers of this not too many and then i'm just going to take my popsicle stick and make sure that it's smoothing out anyways, i'm just going to do very. A very, very thin layer. This is layer number two and, like i said, the most important thing with the glue is make sure one you're not putting too much and two that you are laying it flat. So there's no clumps, because the clumps will turn white up underneath your lace. Now i'm going to take my blow dryer on cool and just make sure that it's all dry, you want to make sure that your blow dryer is on cool because heat separates glue. So you don't want your glue to separate so just use cool air all right. So now i can literally just pull this back down and then i'm gon na make sure that i'm placing everything exactly where it should go like this, and then i'm going to take my comb and really push it in making sure that the lace sticks to that Glue so i just cut my elastic band in half, so i just want to. I just wanted to cut it in half so that when i tie it, it's not covering the hairline, so i can still style the hair. While you know what i'm saying it's still on here now, i'm going to take my even wonderlace bond. This is their adhesive spray and then i'm going to go around the hairline and spray some of this just a little bit and then i'm going to push it in this is just gon na, be some extra hold and it's gon na help to melt the lace Into my skin, i'm going to take my elastic band and just tie this all around so while that is drying down and melting, i'm about to just go back over my hair and just flat iron it because i do want this vibe to be a straight bob. I don't think i'm going to put any curls or anything in it, because i don't know i just want it to be straight. I'M gon na show y'all how i get my unit super duper flat. So first you're gon na need your good old, hot comb and the key to using a hot comb. You want to take the hair and pull it like yank it and then run that hot comb through it. I don't know what it is about: pulling a hair. Well, i do know what it is. Basically, it just creates like tension, so that, once you run the hot comb through it, it's like super straight. You know what i'm saying like. If i was just to do this, it does something, but not as much as if you was to pull the hair and then take the hot comb over it. It really makes sure that it's super straight, so i just pull the hair hot comb it through. The unit is pretty much already flat as hell, because i went through and um flat ironed it after i washed it and after i bleached the knots, oh yeah, by the way um. All i did to this unit was to bleach the knots and i did do a lot of plucking, but just because i wanted this bob to look super natural, but they already had a pretty good hairline on this unit, i'm just extra. So i did a little bit more now i have a few flyaways on top, so i'm just going to take my actually do. I want to take this, or do i want to take yeah i'll, do both okay. So i'm going to take some of my liquid mousse and i'm going to kind of hold this far because i have like a different spray thing in it and it kind of sprays far so i'm going to hold it back here and just spray. The top of my hair, this stuff just does really good with having your hair flat and it doesn't like put too much product on your hair. Now i'm going to take my wax stick and go over my part just at the top, because this will make your hair stiff and greasy. So i just like to put it over the top of my hair, where it really doesn't matter if it's stiff or not. I'M going to take my hot comb and go over everything and that's just going to ensure and lock it in making sure that it stays flat. Last but not least, i'm just going to take some of this got to be kind of hold it far and spray. It over the top of my head like this and then just take my hair and just smooth it. This is gon na really make sure i don't have any flyaways, so i'ma just go through and just restrain it all go back over it and just make sure yeah yo yo, i'm gon na. Take this little clip and clip away the hair and i'm gon na need another one. Now, i'm gon na remove this elastic band. I'M just gon na cut this off, because this thing is tight: okay, yeah! This is definitely giving scalp. Now it's time to cut off all of this lace, so i'm just gon na take those same sheers and try to get as close to the hair, as i can leaving no extra lace yeah. Oh this is about to be it yeah. This is definitely my hair. Once again, every time i have on a wig i claim is my hair, because at this point it is like what it's a little bit ashy just for me, cutting it and pulling it up a little bit. So we will go back and fix that, besides that y'all, this is giving like super dumb scout like so there's like a ring of ashiness. Just for me like pulling up the lace and um, you know getting it as close to my hairline as possible, so i'm going to show you guys how to fix that. What you want to do is just take something you can take like the end of something spray it with some got to be, or you can use this even wonderlace um adhesive spray, but i like to use a spray because it's wet and what i like to Do is just press that into the edge and that's just going to take the ashiness off, because that's literally all it is it's just from pulling up the lace and cutting it. I just take some of that and go all around and just really push that in okay and then you just want to take your blow dryer on cool and then that's going to take all that away. Y'All, my freaking camera turned off and i didn't even know it, but i just went and added two little side baby hairs, and this is what the bob looks like. I haven't done nothing else to it, just combed it down, and this is what it's skipping. I think it looks pretty good um. It looks super natural, like i'm able to put it behind my ears. It just looks really good, like i'm super happy with the result and yeah. So now i'm just about to probably do my makeup and then come back for the outro, so i'll see y'all there y'all do not judge my makeup because i didn't went out to eat came back. I didn't took pictures, listen! This is about as good as it's gon na get, but the bomb is vibing honey like it's definitely given what it was supposed to give, especially for a hundred dollars. I mean: what's your name blb, so they call it. You bald yeah. On a serious note, i really really love the quality of this hair. It feels like so silky like super silky. Every time you it just goes right back into place like i don't even know how to explain it. It'S just like the perfect bob, like it don't matter what you do to it shake it. It just come right back like and it's so shiny and silky yeah and, like i told y'all, i didn't bend a little bit everywhere and my bob still look just as good honey. So i mean that speaks for itself.
