As you can see, um my roots are pretty colored. We have like the red copper going on and then i was trying to get this wig black um, but it's still a little light. It'S not completely black but um. I might go in and do another jet black round, but i think this turned out so cute and it's so subtle. It'S not too much color um and it just looks beautiful. So if you want to see how i got this look just keep on watching this video period all right, so this is the wig i'm gon na be coloring. I do have an install video on this wig on my channel. I just wanted to show you guys. Um, how it looks beforehand, um. So as you can see, i'm getting that everywhere and it's pretty messy, but it was a nice cleanup. It wasn't so bad and yeah, i'm just um using one bottle, because i just wanted to pace myself at first and see how the hair was going to take off for one bottle so right here, i'm just doing the back part of the wig most of the Youtube videos and tutorials i was watching on this - was doing the back half of the wig and not so much of the front. Just because that's where most of the boots show. So i'm just letting the back of the wig take in as much color as it can and with the frontal part. I am gon na just go up to the roots on that part, but i'm grabbing my brush here and i'm just trying to keep everything untangled. Um - and it is best to do this, but hot boiling, hot water and um - it looks like it is pretty dark and black at first, but as i rinse this off and wash it, it is gon na brighten up a bit. But, like i said i like to have the end, results turned out um because you know it was a little bit different than how everybody was. Everybody was trying to go for more of a black lip color roots, but i do like the ombre effect. So now i'm just um kind of working, some of that up on the frontal part and as you can see it's turning out exactly my later on, i gucci is too much when i leave it's a lot of fun. Oh okay, you can't be with us all right, you guys, so i'm going to show you guys my progress so far. So, let's see this is kind of what i was going for um. I was inspired by this look with the color of roots. I just thought that was so bomb, so this is what i got so far got some jet black dye um. I did water dip it, but it didn't come out as dark as i wanted to so. Oh [, __ ]. I went back and put some uh black dye directly on it, so the roots are pretty red and kind of like the red. I wanted them to be so i'm about to rinse this off in a sec and then i'll be back to um blow dry. It out and then install it so stay tuned. I think this is going to come out so freaking fire y'all again. Here'S my inspiration. Yes, so oh and don't mind my nail but yeah inspiration pic. My nails are dirty because i just got done dying here, but yeah stay tuned. You guys i'll be back once this is um done rinsing off and welcome back um. So, as y'all can see, i have my wig on and i'm just getting ready to curl the wig um. As you can see, my roots are still kind of like that: reddish, copper, looking color and um the wig didn't get as black as i wanted it to um, but i think it still turned out pretty cute. So i'm just gon na go ahead and curl. My hair, for you guys and then um, i'm gon na, do my baby hair afterwards. So is oh me, so i'm just giving it some layers right here, but, as you guys can see, i like to curl my hair in a backwards motion. Um the way. Each side is going if that makes sense and i'm using a hot tools: curling iron. I got this curling iron for from ulta, so yeah right. So now i think i curled off the wig. So now i'm going to take my hot comb and just run it through a little bit more before um. I do my baby hair, so yeah, i'm gon na do my baby hair off camera and then i will be back to show you guys a finished result and i think she's looking pretty good. If i do say so myself, i didn't get my wig as dark as i wanted to and uh my roots can probably be a little bit lighter, but i still think i still think um it looks bomb. So i'm gon na do my baby hair off camera and then i will be back okay, so this is what the end result is looking like. I uh felt like i didn't, get the bottom dark enough and then i felt like the top wasn't light enough. But honestly i love how it came out. I think it looks really pretty um and it's not too harsh with the color. I think it came out in kind of a unique style like in my own way, um, even though i was you know getting a little bit of info um, the roots didn't come out as dark as i wanted to, and then i feel, like my roots, are Not as light as i wanted them to be, but i still feel like it came out pretty and i like how the style is so this is the in results.
