Hi guys um today is a different kind of video. I am in my bathroom as you might see, and I can hear that it kind of it goes in here. So sorry about that. But today is a very exciting video. I am going to dye my hair um and I've had this kind of hair color for like five years now so yeah, I'm going to dye my hair. As you can see, of the description of this video, I'm going to dye my hair, a dark gray. I hope it comes out like a steel kind of color and I think I will be doing a black root. So I have this um dark, but I have some black. You die um and I have this from a Pravana. It'S the silver color. So we'll see how this goes. I hope it turns out good, but just keep on watching. If you want to see how I do this um so first off, I would just be brushing my hair, because I kind of just woke up. So it's very messy and then I will be cutting in a bit because I need to cut my ends and I just want it to be a bit more a bit shorter. Now I have brushed it through, so I will be going in and cutting some bits, and I will speed this through. I cut my own hair, so your hairdresser and think that I'm doing something wrong. You know I'm not saying that. I'M doing it right. I am Not sure I'm not using like a hairdresser, scissor and stuff like that um, but it works. For me. You know my hair grows like crazy, so um yeah. So let's start with the hair dye. The dye that I am going to use for the gray parts is this: Pravana chroma, silk and silver, yeah and silver. I wanted to just use this, but I have so much hair, so I think I will have to dilute this with some kind of like conditioner stuff um, so that sucks I didn't buy two of these. It was a pain to get it. So I just mixed it right now. It looks like this and yeah. Let'S start yes, you we'll just be waiting and I will be back, but I have washed it and all that so, okay, guys um. I have just um washed, the first color out. It looks darker now I will be taking this dark color, it's just a black, I'm using the mood brand. I think it's a Swedish brand so just use any black dye yep and now I will be using it on my roots, and I think I will go down to like yeah here where my roots stop, and I know this will be a pink s. If I want to keep doing this because then I have to you know when the black comes down to here when it grows out, I need to bleach it and you know stuff like that, but I think it will look cool. So let's try it. I'M kind of scared of black dye because I have had the black your hair for many years before um, it's kind of scary, because when it's there you know it's there. Okay, I'm done this looks so scary. So I like stuffed right here and I have it all over my roots: um yeah, I'm screwed. I will wait about like 20 minutes or something like that um and then I will wash it and dry it, and then I will be back so we shall see how it looks. Then. I hope it looks good. I really like. I have never done anything like this with the roots, so I have no idea how this will go so yeah. We will see each other later on, so this is the day after and I'm so happy with the color it turned out, just as I wanted it to awesome, I'm so happy um. What do you guys think? In other words, do you use toner and if so do you do it both when you bleach the roots and when the rest of the hair color starts fading? If you dont want to get hair dye all over you face and forehead put on some petroleum jelly or Vaseline all over the forehead/ears/neck/ face area before dyeing your hair... this will prevent your skin from getting dyed along with your hair.... simply wash off when you rinse your hair out!
