I'm Emina D. Sehovic, the founder of Tressmerize.

For years I've tried to grow my very short hair but the longest it seem to get is up to my shoulders and I'd always get frustrated with it and chop it all off.

To make matters worse 3 years ago I went platinum blonde and all the bleaching damaged my hair completely that there was no way to recover it at all, but the only solution was to shave my head, and I did.

As soon as my hair hit 3-4" inch mark, I was completely lost and hated it, I just wanted to have long hair.

Doing my research and wanting clip-in hair extensions everyone claimed that women with short hair can wear hair extensions. Fusion yes, but I just didn't have the income to go to the salon, shed, $700-$2000 for hair that I knew in 6 months I will have to come back for maintenance and shed another $700.

I also discovered that when women talk about short hair, that's usually shoulder length, and my hair wasn't even close to that. Everyone I looked on Youtube that talked about hair extensions for short hair had their hair shoulder length, but it didn't stop me from purchasing it.

When the hair extensions came I was so disappointed, The wefts were showing through and there were so many pieces in my hair that it gave me headache from all the clips.

I was sad, but didn't give up. I continued my research to how I could solve the problem and discovered a hair topper. When hair topper came, I finally felt that I found the solution, but again, the hair topper didn't match my hair extensions and the problem just kept escalating. The hair topper hair quality wasn't as hair extensions and I just got fed up, that I decided to make my own product that caters to women with very short hair who have thin hair just like me. That is how the idea of Tressmerize came.

Tressmerize it the only hair extensions system on the market that caters to women with very short hair. You have 6 pieces in a kit. It's light weight, it's easy to install and you'll feel beautiful, confident after you put it in.

Hello, my beautiful Tressa donnas Amina here with another video for you in this video. I am going to show you how to color roots in your hair, stopper, so stay tuned and I'll. Show you how so a lot of you have been requesting this video and a lot of you have been requesting for me to add hair Stoppers with roots and the problem with adding these hair Stoppers with different root. Colors is because there are so many different shades of blondes brunettes and it's hard to pinpoint which color would match you the best. So what I always suggest is to get a lighter, color and then have your hair stylist match it best to your hair color, and they do this great. I had my hair stylist match my previous hair topper and hair extensions to my hair color, and it turned out wonderfully it matched my near hundred-percent, and I think that that is the best way to go. However, some of you love to do things yourself. As you may know, I was like that once before, but I also have damaged my hair to the point that I had to shave all of my hair off and that wasn't very fun experience to go through. But I did create trust rice through that process. So I always say it is one of the best things that have happened to me so far, because out of that something wonderful has become because of you and because you've been asking me, I have decided to actually try and to color my hair topper and I Think that I did a pretty good job and I think that it matches my roots pretty well, and I will show you how I did it. However, I am going to make a point here and I'm gon na tell you that this is not an ordinary way of doing things, because I wasn't very sure of what I was doing. So there are a lot of processes here to show you the video, because you can see how much I have put the stopper through and it didn't get damaged and the hair still stayed true to itself and it's still shiny and it's still very soft and the Tapper looks great, like I didn't even process it that many times, if you are not 100 % sure you know what you're doing. Please consult your hair stylist, so stay tuned and I'll. Show you how so the first thing I did. I chose a medium brown color and I just went with a brush all over the top of the hair stopper and right away. I have realized that this was a wrong shade. It was just too dark, but on the box it looked as it was like my own color, but as it I put it on a hair topper. It just took the color so quickly and it became almost like a matte black and I continued with it. I thought that maybe you know when I wash it off and rinse it, and that is the tricky part with colors once when you're doing it, it always looks different than when it you wash it and it dried and, as you can see, it's very dark. So I started panicking. I had this blonde shade in my house that I purchased maybe long ago and I'm like well. Let me just add this all over to see if maybe it's going to become, because my hair is a little bit reddish and obviously it didn't do anything. So I went to the store - and I found this hair color remover and I added that on and as you can see, it totally washed off the hair, and then I purchased that almost like a chestnut brown - and I took my time with this one. I actually used the foils and almost like - I was a pro at this, but I used foils and I kind of took parts of the hair, because I liked the way that the topper came out after I washed all of the color. He had that reddish tint to it and then I just wanted to add more dark lowlights into it, so that it matches my darker parts as well. So, as you can see, I added it here and I'm tracking to see how how it looks and it looked pretty good, and at this point I was very happy that I was on to something and I thought to myself. Well, I think that this actually will work, so I really did take my time with pulling out. You know, parts of the hair and making sure that I don't mess it up as I did in the beginning. I think if I have took my time in the beginning with the darker shade and done this, then maybe I wouldn't have to go through all of it, but I would suggest that if you want to add roots to your hair topper, to probably go always with The lighter shade, then your here is because the topper might take it differently than your own hair, as I said that that darker color just took on so fast and right away. I knew that that was the wrong shade, so I just kept doing this all the way around until I was satisfied and I waited it to process and you will see the results at the end. That is how I achieved the roots in my hair top, but I hope that this video has helped you a little bit to get an insight of what you can do with your hair topper and how you can color your own and thank you so much for Watching and I will talk to you soon - ciao

Tania Murray: Exactly what I've been looking for

Gardner Family: Great job! Im planning to add lowlight streaks so instead of painting just the roots, I'm going all the way down. Thanks for refreshing my memory about the foil procedure!

Lynne Marie: For not being a pro, you did a really nice job! Congrats. :)

DiSCoHiPPiECHiCK: TY, I always enjoy ur tutorials!

bevin wilkinson: I'm here because I'm sitting here with my topper and hair dye and I'm so afraid to ruin the silk base!

Linda Fusco: I KNOW THAT YOUR TOPPER IS NOT SYNTETIC HAIR BUT HUMAN HAIR I DO NO KNOW WHY THEY DO NOT MAKE COLOR PENS FOR SYNTETIC WIGS THAT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL!
