What'S up, what's goodie welcome and welcome back to my channel we're gon na jump right into it, we're gon na be starting off with a fiesta, fuchsia color, and also this um brownish dye color from clear all. This is the color that i got when i mixed them together. What i'm basically going to be doing today is revamping this wig of mine. So, as i mentioned before, i did mix those two colors together and it gave me this burgundy kind of um payoff. What i'm doing right now is i'm taking a spoolie and i'm using that to actually start applying the color to the roots off the wig, because that's what the transformation or the revamp is going to be today. The reason i'm using a spoolie you can use a toothbrush as well is because with using that it prevents you from actually staining the lace. I did get one or two splotches of dye on the lace, but nothing too serious. So you want to use a spoolie or a small brush toothbrush um, just to coat the smaller hairs and also to make sure that you're doing it as evenly and as neatly as possible. I'M also gon na do the same thing at the back. Remember we're just doing the roots and when i was making this wig, i did actually use white thread to sew my track stone. So i'm actually gon na take the dye and just kind of go over that as well. Just to minimize the white thread color. As you guys notice, i'm using a bigger brush at the back just because you know i don't have to be that neat at the back. But for my lace girl, i had to be as careful as possible, so i'm going to show you guys a close-up of the color payoff. So far as i said, i did get one or two splashes of dye here and there, but so far i think i was liking how it was coming out. To be honest, i wanted to do two colors at first. I wanted to do a color at the root and then a color at the ends, but because this isn't 6 13 here it didn't work out. So i'm just gon na do the roots, and you guys see me using a comb to just you know, go through that and basically what that does is it helps to spread the dye evenly. You know just so it looks blended and not you know just there. It doesn't leave a line of demarcation, so so i'm using the comb to just comb it out. It helps to spread the dye look way more natural. So you can see the burgundy kind of blending into the blondish color that we have at the ends. So once again, i am going to go ahead and show you guys a close-up of what it looks like. As you can see, the spoolie did an amazing job of applying the color um. You know just doing it really great, so this is my sister guys. Let me just say before we even begin this was super duper late at night, so she is hella tired, but we're taking some soft touch wax and i'm just swooping her edges just so they're, not in the way, because we were not gon na. Do the ball cap method for this install we're just going to jump right into it, so i wanted to get her edges out of the way and she kind of has a lower hairline than me. So i'm trying to get everything out of the way and just figure out how i'm going to get this wig on her head, because her hairline being lower than mine, means that you know the install is a little bit different than i would have done it on Myself, so i did take some alcohol just to clean off all the excess oils and so forth off her forehead and now we're just trying to fit the wig on there. On the left side, you guys are gon na see, there's a little bit more red on one specific track at the top. Don'T worry, we're gon na fix that everything's gon na blend in at the end, i'm just taking these two clips and i'm kind of pinning the hair back just so i can, you know, get the lace in place and i can install it properly and then i'm Going to go in with my lace glue, i'm gon na apply it in small portions at first. Remember: we're not doing a ball cap method, so i'm gon na try as much as possible. You know not to get any of her hair in it um. So you just apply the glue use, something flat to spread it evenly and then you're gon na use a hair dryer. Well, this specific glue it actually dries down, even if you don't use a hairdryer, but i like to speed up the process, i'm using a hair dryer and when it actually becomes clear. You know that it's ready to apply the lace. I'M gon na go ahead and grab the lace and start pulling it forward into the glue i like to take a comb just to press everything in um. Normally, it's recommended that you wait until the glue is completely clear to actually apply the lace, but i find when it's completely clear, it's like too dry, so the lace doesn't stick. So i like to give it um. I like it to be just a little bit. Tacky and a little bit wet at the same time, so yeah, i'm just using the comb to basically push the lace into the glue whenever you're applying your wigs, you want to make sure that the lace is clean, especially since this is a reinstall. I had to clean the lace before, but so far so good it is applying really nice looks like scalp, of course, um. I did go over this with some pump it up. Spritz like when i had the lace completely dried down um. This was a 13 by 4 forefrontal. I believe so. When i had everything completely dried down, i did go in with some pump it up spritz over the lace um. That is just an extra trick that i used to make my installs last longer personally, for my skin um, i'm allergic. So whenever i use a pump it up spritz, it does give me pimples and stuff like that, but i've been using it on my sister for a while and it doesn't affect her. So they do that off camera, and now you guys are just seeing me going in with some alcohol again just to get rid of all the excess um products like the spritz and the glue just to get rid of all of that um. Then i'm gon na go in with my scissors and i'm gon na trim down the baby hairs just a bit at this point. If you have um anything to tweeze, you could also do that as well, because you know the hair tends to be thick sometimes. So if you need to tweeze it girl go ahead and tweeze it next thing i'm gon na do is i'm gon na start forming the baby ears? I was planning to do something extra, but i don't know, as i said, it was really late. So we were both tired um and it it just didn't end up being as extra as i envisioned it, but i'm just using a toothbrush and a comb because i honestly could not find my edge brush. So i had to wing it and use these two um in case you guys are wondering i did use a soft touch wax again that, as i said, it's my all-time favorite. So basically this is the install i'm gon na go ahead and start styling the tops. I'M just you know parting out that piece of hair that i want to use um the frontal doesn't go all the way back, so it goes from ear to ear, but it doesn't have a lot of parting space um. So i'm just you know, being careful with the part, and you guys are gon na see me go over that little piece of hair with my hot comb um when i'm, whenever i'm styling a wig, i just like to go over it with my hot comb, especially If i'm doing any parts or anything like that, i just feel like it just allows the hair to lay better um. I'M gon na go ahead and use an elastic band to hold this together. Uh. To be honest, the style that i was going for here. She didn't end up liking it, so you guys are going to see me actually redo another style, but i still wanted to show you guys this, because i think he i think he was actually coming out cute um, it's something that i've done before. So i'm basically trying to do a little bun, so i'm just sleeking it together and then i'm gon na actually wrap the hair um. But oh my gosh, i feel, like this install, came out a whole lot better than i expected because honey being that her her hairline is lower than mine. I was, i was kind of scared, but yeah i'm just going to go ahead and wrap that here together and you want to make sure that when you're wrapping all the hair sticks together, if you feel or see any hair falling out just comb it together. So it sticks together and go ahead and wrap your little bun or whatever you guys want to call it. I'M also going to go over that with an elastic band and at the back of my hand, you guys will see some of the wax that i've been talking about. The soft touch wax i'm just gon na go around that as well with that as well. Just to give it that extra hold but, as i said, she wasn't really feeling the buns, so we ended up doing cornrows um, which it did came out. It didn't come out cute as well. So that's what i'm doing right now, i'm just cornrowing um, the top section off the hair. You guys can see she's hella sleepy, like she was just dying to sleep, but um yeah, i'm just cornrowing it i'm cornering it really really small! Because um, i feel like the parting that i had before for the buns was too big for carnose. I made it a little bit smaller um yeah, that's basically what i'm doing just cornrowing the top section, i'm not one of those fancy youtubers that uses a comb to make my cornrows neater. I don't know what was going through my head right now why i was doing that, but it happened. So i'm gon na go ahead and complete the cornrow and to hold it together. I'M actually gon na use an elastic band same as i would have used an elastic band to hold the bun together. Okay guys, so that's basically it for the cornrows. As i said, i absolutely love how it came out. Um we did go in with a hot comb and a flat iron off camera. I mean it could have been stirring a little bit more and not gon na lie. We could have strained it a little bit more, but it was so late. You guys we were literally both running on one percent battery each like body wise. We were tired, so um, i'm just using the hot comb right now, just to give it a smoother sleeker. Look. I also went in with um some wax. The wax is from the chocolate hair factory on instagram. So if you do need a wax stick, you know, that's the one that i use and i definitely recommend it. This isn't sponsored or anything, but i just really like how sleek and nice it is, and the customer service is good as well, so shout out to them, and the hot coma as well is also from them. So just know just know that it's a good company to shop with, but i'm gon na go ahead and run the hot comb through the back of the hair as well. As i said, don't judge, don't judge. I know it could have been straightened a little bit more, even though i did like straighten it before installing, but you know how it is. You know how it is. This hair was actually curly hair from the beginning, so it's kind of hard there to straighten, but this is the finished look wanted to do makeup and whatever, but she was not in the mood um but yeah. This is the finished. Look. I love how it turned out. As i said, i would have loved if it would have been two colors instead of just one at the root, but that's why you get when you're not working with 6 13 here, but i do hope you guys enjoyed this video.
