Hi guys welcome to my channel today we're going to be doing my hair. I'M no way a cosmetologist, and this is not professional advice - do not recommend that you do this if you're not comfortable doing it to yourself or, if you're, one of those people that has to have the outcome perfect, because, obviously it's not going to be video well B, you don't know much normally I bleach my hair every six weeks or so, and I'm so sick of doing that. So I kind of wanted to let my hair grow out. I don't want to die at all my color right away because I love my bleached color, but I do want to try to do my roots blended into the rest of my hair, so the color I'm going to do just by I literally just eyeballed my roots And picked a color, so I've picked redken color fusion in the color 6n, which is a natural dark blonde, which I just feel like sounds right and I'm going to mix it with my 20 developer and hopefully it comes out. Okay, I'm going to start out by sectioning my hair into four sections, so one on each side, one two and then two in the back three four and then I'll probably work from the bottom up. Only because you can only improve - and I don't want to start at the top and then get better as we go at the bottom because nobody's innocent by my hair anyways. So we'll do that. I'M going to put on some crappy clothes put on some good music. But because of copyright laws, Q, the royalty-free music, now the back, my hair is done and I'm literally in love with it, and I don't know it turned out better than I thought it would it. But I feel like it blends nicely, I don't know um. It know I turn I just like it. I like it just saw. I took the brush first and I did it flat and I did it on my roots. I saturated my roots and I took rather big, not big, but not teeny. Tiny sections like you normally would, when you're doing your roots, and I had the brush flat at first and went through just the roots, and then I turned it vertically and I brought it down to blend um into the rest of my hair. If you understand what I'm saying so horizontal and then vertical throughout my hair, the back was a beyotch to do myself. So if you have friends or relatives or parents to help you, that would be awesome, but I stuck to it and I did it and I don't know what the fact my head looks like. But I feel like that's okay, because the front of it looks just fine. I hope you liked this video. I hope it was helpful. I hope that you liked the turn out of my hair. If you didn't, if you did whatever don't forget to Like and subscribe, and let me know if there's any other videos you'd like to see for me and go follow me on instagram at a bleach life bye, you

somegirljess: Turned out great! How do you feel about it now that you're natural roots have likely since grown in a bit? Did the colour match your natural? I'm thinking about doing this to my own hair. Any advice now that you've done it and it's been a month or so?

elizadevs: Looks amazing! I'm about to do the same. Good tip of how to use the brush, your blend looks perfect

Marta Berk: Turned out great. Exactly what I was looking for.

getmealibrary: Thank you so much for this video! I'm going to try this this week. I bleached my hair again and left the roots and did a toner and my roots went gingery so I'm going to try this this week :)

Jennifer Loveless: Thank you. This was the only video out of the many many that I watched that was actually helpful. It didn't take a million steps and foils and you showed us everything. Thank you.

A Bleach Life: Hello new watchers... this is a very old video! My hair doesn’t look like this anymore! Thank you for watching

olja: It looks so good!! I wanna do it as well :D

The Lady Borgia: Ok Lovely!!!!! The video that includes make up tips and application tutorials through out the video to keep foundation, bronzer, blush ect OUT of your hair and how to prevent migration that you requested is up! NO MORE ORANGE RING! It's the "HOLY GRAIL FOUNDATION" video :D MUCH LOVE to my PLATINUM brothers and Sisters..Blondes or ant LIGHT hair color that can potentially have this issue! PS You're mentioned in the description box!

bailey bear: loved this video. However, I'm bleached all over platinum blonde (no showing roots just yet) but wanting to insert a subtle fake root. I have tried a 6A, 7NA and 7 on hair colour similar to yours and it just turned the strand test grey/greenish. Anything you could recommend?

Lish Gray: Love how you say roots!!! I'm copper auburn and I'm gonna do my 'roots' dark so I can hide my grays easier!!! Oh and I hate how adorable you look in a plain white tshirt sitting in your bathroom! Not fair! Thanks for the tut!!!

Nastassia: it looks so good i’m going to try this! how long did you leave it on?:)❤️

Emily Carr: Thinking of doing this, looks way easier than I initially thought which is nice :) I think i need to dye my mid-lengths blonder also, would you recommend doing the blonde (or the roots) first?

Becka Georgiou: Hello, I have bleach blonde hair and my natural colour is dark brown. I have been bleaching my hair every 3-4 weeks and I have had enough lol so I think this would really help my hair. I have my hair on a side parting and a long side fringe, would this still work on my hair, thanks x

Brittany R.: Very helpful thank you!!!

Nikki Gregory: As it grows out, I assume you have to at some point bleach over the died part. Did you do this? And if so, did it lift alright?

sarah cole: So helpful and fun ☺

Heather Wright: So glad someone did this on shorter hair. Almost all the tutorials are for longer hair, looks different on shorter hair. However, my hair is layered, hopefully this will work for me when I try it!

NataBOI ♡{^ ^ } ♡: can you use regular developer from sallys (the one you mix with bleach) or a low lift developer?

Alysa Nicole: I want to do this but I'm scared as hell. I love my blonde I just want my roots dark.

MaLina Dostojévski: I love it!

Rochelle Siciliano: I love it! And I love watching you, your very funny

Aleydaegyo: What happens if you use semi permanent dye to blend your roots

Sphynx Ink: Trying this with my best friend. She has bright blue hair and dark grey blonde roots longer than the medieval era. Her hair is so damaged and over processed, I'm scared to bleach her roots and put blue on top in case it just breaks off where the damage starts. So we are taking a dark blue to her roots like this. Hopefully it works

heehee299: Could you achieve the same look by using a box dye?

Victoria Rose: I’ve tried to do this but the dye bled into my blonde and it like darkened all of my blonde. Idk how to explain it but I’d be afraid.

Martha Colon: Love it

artsy fartsy stuff: Perfect!

Kristy Elizabeth: Did you find that it had any warmth from the 6n at all?

Ang Kay Dubs: Broooo, I been watching your videos for the past two days and ohhh my yous is the cutestttt and I love your hair long, either way you're still beautiful

lily sudak: i’m about to try this

Georgia Lilley: Does anyone know if this process has a technical name? I want to google some more info on this method so I’m well versed before doing it but don’t know what to put in the search bar!

Nicole Marie: You rock You look great too

Kaitlin Okay: How did you get to your bleach blonde color in the first place , I'm trying to get mine that way , but I don't necessarily wanna go to a salon because they over price ...

Marilyn monroe: I love the way you say roots lol

M. L: who knows the trick to washing the dye out without covering the rest of your hair? i did too much to become blonde and i dont wanna mess it up

CrystalBDawned: Your a Purrty one aren’t You☺️ahead of the curb! Really. People are coming around FOR this look, before your Do-job here! lol At least around HERE anyway....or... maybe it’s just me “!?” Eitherway.... Hey I have a Question!!!: ☝️is there a way to dye my hair without doing the roots!?

DaiAsh: Why is she saying "ruts" instead of roots????

sedona wall: You're so cute!

emma jordan: some of these comments are so mean :(

M.J. Tripper: Erg the way people say "ruts" >.< :p. Otherwise good video :) I half wonder if it's like an American thing. I know people always say how Canadians say shit rly weird. And I always feel the need to tell people I never say "eh" nor does anyone around me, that's more like a mainlander saying haha! Btw did you study cosmetology or do you just have the passion for it, you seem well versed and have wonderful technique! Xo

mm: you are so cute omggggg

Kristy Elizabeth: its pronounced Roots Roooooooots

Dolce Vita: It looked better before...you had a beautiful base color.

Darlene Rodriguez: “the ruts”

Cristal Morillo: rooooootsssss

arin: you look like jenna marbles boyfriend

iitskeykey !: you’re saying “roots” wrong

Dawn Campbell: Ruuutzz. ?? WTF

Lisa Loonytoon: what that looks really bad wtf

DaiAsh: Are you transgender ??
