Using Rit Dye On My 613 Synthetic Wig #Beautysupply #Wigs

Hey it's shamika and welcome back to my channel so for today i have another exciting video for you guys, i'm going to be doing a water hair dye. As you can see, i got my blonde like right here. My 6 13 wig. This is a synthetic hair. I'M not a big fan of it. I'M going to show you the name. This wig was 44.99 50 plus tax um. This is the wig yeah, so you can curl it um. You can curl it. I guess straight in it up to 400 degrees fahrenheit. As you can see, this is the color 613, as you can see here, and here um also, oh, the color shown right here is olive green. If you were wondering it is a deep part lace - and this is how it looks on the inside and then it has some parts in the front where it shows that is good for like if you want to do edges or whatever get like. I don't know how well how much of a hairline you can really get, but you can do some edges there if you feel like it um. This is how the piece looks from ear to ear. I have a pink and a brown hair color all right, as you can see the red dye moist and make sure you get the synthetic version when you're ordering. This is super pink and chocolate brown synthetic fiber dye. Alright. So i'm going to use these and i also have two cases. This is a seven ounce, but i also have two set seven ounce purple dye coming as well. It'S taking forever so the two bottles of purple hair dye has been canceled and i'm getting a refund. So i just went ahead with the brown and pink hair dye, so i also looking back at the wig i put it on. I don't like how it looks on me. The curl pattern on this wig is beautiful. I like the curl pattern, but it is a synthetic wig, so the curls are going to drop eventually, especially since i have to put it in the die put in a hot water to dye the hair. So i was thinking - maybe i should straighten it before. I put it in the die, but i just ended up going straight through and dyeing it with this curl texture, this curl pattern and i will just style it after i complete it and see how the color looks and everything and, as you can see, it sheds A lot that's another thing, i just don't really like about the wig and i think it's because it is a 613 wig and when i went to the store the lady was like yeah. This is like one of the best-selling wigs and i'm like. Oh really she's like yeah, so i'm like you know what okay, because i i did like how it looked, but when i got home it just wasn't given what it gave in the store. So so this is how the wig looks on me and i'm just not feeling it it's just no like i tried to do some poses and everything just it wasn't working and anyway, so i got started. I got my bucket my little container, i heat up some hot water and i'm just gon na pour that into the bucket and make sure you get some gloves when you're doing this, because the dye would stick to your hand at first. You would think. Oh no! It'S not gon na, stick to my hand, it will stick and it would stain the super pink red eye, and i also put my wig in here after mixing it around a little bit. The water is steaming hot, as you can see the skin rising out of there and i dipped it in uh. Obviously it didn't come out anything like that, because i guess i didn't. I don't know exactly what i was trying. I wanted to happen with it, but i knew that i would have did something that'll do something good by covering it. So i covered it and set my alarm for 30 minutes came back and i'm going to just show you guys what happened 32 minutes later. This is how it's looking, so just it's not as hot as before the heat has went down. I got on one glove this time, it's warm in here, but the smoke is gone, so i had to dip this part into the water because i realized like it just wasn't. Looking how i wanted to look so i had to dip this part in and yeah. This is how it's looking. I don't think i mentioned it, but i actually went back while it was like time and everything i went back and put a little bit of the chocolate brown inside of here to make a bit darker right now i just washed it out. I used some oxyclean detergent and it smells amazing, but the color didn't really take. Let'S look at my glove all right, this, the pink dye, my okay, that is um, do the top first, all right y'all, so i'm back and it was. I was only supposed to be gone for like an hour, but i was gone for like an hour, so this color does not take at all i'm going to be highly upset. I was gone to the point where this is now the water's still warm um. There'S no smoke coming up anymore and the hair is submerged into the water. You cannot see at all it's just a reflection of the wallpaper okay. Here we go so this is oh, so it's pink like i really wish you guys can see what my eyes are seeing right now, it's so beautiful but anyways. So this is how it looks and you can see it more at the back in the back of the hair. You can see more of the pink back here. Let me see, focus the camera. Oh, my goodness. I can see it like. It looks so beautiful, but on camera i'm just not really seeing it - i don't know maybe but anyways. The color is gorgeous these parts right here where the lights is hidden and it is showing like looking a little bit pinkish and then we have strands in between. Like right here, you see the pink now, oh my gosh. Yes, it's so beautiful! This color is amazing. I really wish i had a bit more pink. You see the pink right here. I really wish. I i added in the whole, bottle of pink and a whole bottle of brown, rather than doing it separate because i kind of wasted the first wash of pink, but i really like how it turned out - and i basically did this for i - had it dipped in The water for i want to say an hour and a half to two hours and i feel like that also helped the color take as well it's beautiful, so i'm going to shape it up and style it in another video, so stay tuned. For that i was planning on leaving the curls as is, and just adding in some mousse i'm sorry. Every time i see a speck of the pink. I just freeze, i'm just like i'm in awe, but anytime, but yeah. I was gon na. Add in just some mousse and call it a day with these curls, but i don't really like it. I'M going to straight, not straighten it. I'M going to curl it in a different pattern. X plus is really long. I want to try and do some wave curls. I got some curling wands with me. One of the bands, real quick, see how it turns out and i'll show you guys the finished product in the next video. It is so beautiful. I'M proud of myself. I mean, i guess it's a bit: it's not even a bit off like to me. I really like it. Maybe if i did this in somebody's actual hair, they'd be like. Oh, my gosh: what's wrong with you, you messed up my hair, but i like how the color is blended, it's so light, and i can't really get it to show because i don't have any more pink, but i'm just glad that parts of the pink is showing Because i thought that it wouldn't show like oh and i'm just so excited oh wow.
