Hey everyone - I am here today to show you Raquel Welch up stage in the color RL all right. So the very first thing I noticed when I put this piece on my head and I looked in the mirror - was this unbelievably awesome lace front? It is so spectacular, so we're gon na look at it right away. It is so amazing all of the super light. Color is in the front because you can see it's rooted, but they left that routing out off of it in the front. Look at that absolutely stunning. One of the things I kind of was struggling with the style is how she lays on me, and so I thought wow. I could totally pull this one and it may be the color a little bit. It'S a little light for me, but when I pull it off like this, I could just sort of I don't know what I did what it is about. This contrasts with the light lace front and the dark, but I just love that I just really think it's super cute, so that is one really really great thing. You can pull this off your face. You can take it and if you wanted to use a little product and just kind of get her up in a fun kind of swooped up style, you can totally do that or you can kind of play around so that she's a little bit flatter and a Little bit sleeker, but I just think the possibilities are endless with this one, because she has a fully hand tied cap and a full mono top. You can part her anywhere she's sort of in an off-center part right now. Let me grab my comb, but if you wanted to it lets you be eight from the norm and go to a right hand part because a lot of wigs don't come with parts like this, but because of this top, you can part this anywhere. You want. So for my sister's who struggle because wig manufacturers, for whatever reason, don't make mono part wigs that part to the right eye, say you know on the right-hand side, you can do that with this one so easily, and so that is fantastic. Something else I'll mention is that this cap is big on me, and that is very typical of rock. How well twigs, and so keep in mind that uh there, you know a little bit, sometimes big, head friendly and what that means is for those of us who have average circumference but very small measurements over the top of our head. We get a lot of extra cap in some of these wigs. This one is doing that to me and she, in my kind of view in my in my eye, she is giving me a little bit of a cone head, and I have noticed that if I pull her down in the back and I adjust her eye, I Can I can kind of mitigate that, but I have noticed that a little bit just seems like there's a poof here and it's not a poof of permit Eve. It'S a poof of cap and it's just how the cap fits me. Let'S talk about this cap, so this isn't a cheap wig. This one is gon na set you back a little bit, cuz you're paying for these really awesome cat features so, like I said she has a full lace front. That'S a little bit of makeup to draw out that part line a little bit. I actually got this wake from a wig sister and she had put a little makeup there, and so that's probably just either foundation or concealer. It doesn't hurt anything, but that's! What'S on there and then we've got the soft ear tabs the extended nape velcro adjusters. I have them cinched in just a little bit. So definitely if your circumference is bigger than mine, I'm 22 inches. You know, there's a little room to go out here. There'Ll be some stretch in here and then, if your measurements are bigger on the top of your head for sure, you're gon na be able to wear this comfortably. Now. Here'S where I was saying before that she is almost a fully hand tight cap. So when you go to the back of the wig here, all of this is hand tied and then at the very bottom. This is all what they call hand tied wedding, so they've put wedding in because it just wedding at the knee can help a way to lay a little flatter at the nape and also tingle a little less, and so I think that's sometimes why wake manufacturers will Do that, but for those of you who are not familiar with hand-tied caps, this is the back of the wig and that's my fingers through the wig. What the one of the big benefits of a hand-tied cap is realism, so, if you're wearing a wig - and you want to do some styling - maybe you want to pull a wig up and clicks or if you're outside and it's super windy and your wig is blowing And the hair is blooming. You'Re not gon na see Wes it's gon na seem as though it's coming at the hairs growing out of your head. That'S a huge benefit to hand-tied calves. Another huge benefit to hand-tight caps is their comfort. Sometimes wedding can be itchy depending on how much permanent ease they've used with the wedding. Sometimes it can be bulky feeling because those wefts are thicker. So, if you're looking for a wig that has a slimmer profile that feels like less on your head and that doesn't have the permit ease fully hand, tied caps are typically permit ease free. This one is permit ease, free, no permit ease in this one. Then you might want to consider investing in a fully hand, tied cap again you're gon na pay a premium price for that. So it's that trade-off. What'S it worth to you? Maybe you have a few less ways, because you really want the premium cap. Maybe you can live with the wedding and less cap feature too, so you can have more wigs. You know it's just what we all have to wrestle with. Let me put her back on again. I look it outside for you guys and show you how she how this shaded wheat color looks an outside light. It'S a very pretty color, it's a very light. Um. First of all, I will tell you it's a super warm color, this color, you get her situated here. She really just kind of wants to part more in the middle like off center, so I've just been going with it for now. So this color is super. Super. Warm and it's kind of a yellow blonde. It has some streaks of almost seemed like a very light Auburn. It doesn't say it has any Auburn or any strawberry in it. But I don't know, I don't know if you can see those, maybe it's just how that light kind of light. Brown color looks on the blonde, I don't know, but it's super pretty and then it's rooted, you can see the routing there and the route is a. Is quite quite the contrast if you haven't noticed, I've been struggling, the Gator don't kind of lay right. These fibers are so soft, so soft. So it's quite the contrast and I would also say it's not shiny because of this heat friendly fiber holy moly. You guys I'm having more trouble than I think I've ever had before when I put a wig back on in these move in these videos. Wow, that's not shiny, so I don't know how to say this. One of the things I struggle with with Raquel Welch eat friendly fibers is how the fibers feel and how they look. They have almost a matte finish to them, it's hard for me to put into words, but they they have a kind of a coated feeling on them, they're very soft and very silky, but they have they feel sort of coated. And then they have this sort of matte finish, which is odd to my eye. I don't know how to describe it. It'S kind of not natural, looking to me in some lights, so I you know have said in the past: I'm not a huge fan of Raquel Welch eat friendly fibers. I do have belt rest heat friendly, wigs and in a straight bob like this, I would love belt rest. I just think that these fibers feel just a little different. Some of you who are afraid of heat friendly fibers, though I will tell you that this length is going to be a good length for this type of fiber, because it's not gon na rub on your clothing and that's really why, when heat friendly fibers become a Challenge if you're wearing longer lengths or if you wear a lot of scarves and things that are gon na rub on these fibers, the friction from the clothing does fray those fibers a little bit now heat will help that I'm taking heat will kind of close those Fibers back up again and they'll, smooth them out in a straighter style like this. There'S not a lot of risk to doing that, because you don't have a curl pattern that you'll ruin, but for curly wigs it can be a challenge because heat will remove some. If not all of the curl, depending on how much you do so, just keep that in mind. But if you've been looking at this wig and thinking about it, I just wanted to give you another head to see it on. She'S got lots and lots of sort of flippy ends because she is a bit layered, very, very long layers. So I would just say you know you can play with her um, but she is gon na kind of be a little flippy on the end. She doesn't leave like sleek and straight and smooth like a Jameson, so she also even though she doesn't have permittees. I think you can get just a little bit of body out of her and part of that, I think, is because of the heat friendly fibers. They just kind of like to be messed with and then kind of stay, but if you're used to big poofy hair - and you like to get big big hair um, I don't know that this will stay long. So you can mess with her and try to make her big, but she made just sort of sink down because she doesn't have the permit to use to hold the style. But if you don't like permit ease, I think you're gon na, like that. Alright guys I'll get outside. Let me know if you have questions this is out of the box um. I think the week sister who I got her from, I don't think she wore her and she is really darling, really darling and this color has grown on me. So much I may just have to see if I can wear her a little bit just to kind of desensitize myself to the blonde, because you know I'm not used to these really light blondes. Alright, I've talked enough stick around for the outside. Look thanks for watching. Alright, everyone here is shaded wheat outside look at that beautiful blonde. Oh, my gosh, you guys this is such a pretty color. I just love the different dynamic shades running through it. It'S definitely not boring and then you've got that dark route. So if you don't like routed colors, this one's got a pretty dark root on it, considering it's so light, so keep that in mind. It'S so pretty, though you get a few different angles going here. I can't really go up against the house right now, because we've got so much sunlight on it. Maybe I'll give it a try, because that gray background would look really a good contrast with this color so fun. Little fact my daughter and a friend are sitting on chairs over there. Watching me, film knees, that's never happened before. Okay, there we go. I guess that's not too bad in the sunlight here. Alright guys, thanks for watching. I hope that helped

DHG Heart Written: Girl, you look so gorgeous in this style and color! Love it! Thank you for all the info you shared with us! ❤️

L S: You look GREAT in Upstage, love the color on you, as well. I like how different, yet dynamic the front looks when you pull the front up off the face and the root is subtle, but definitely there. More obvious when worn down, but still beautiful. I am a huge fan of RW wigs. I have both RW basic cap & RW hand tied pieces and I always feel they are so worth the investment. They fit comfortably, and have held up well for me. The RL14/22 is my favorite RW color. It's flattering on all ages. I have been on the fence about Upstage. Might have to pick her up on the next great sale. Thanks for the great review.

AJ Row: Denise, I think the rooted blondes look so nice on you!❤️

Anita Rushlow: Gorgeous! The perfect lace front for sure! This is what I was referring in my other comments. Great cap construction too.

Auntie M: This piece looks great on you - both the shape and colour. So flattering!!!

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: Thank you so much Denise I found this very helpful! I came back to rewatch because I had an offer made to me for one in hazelnut and I have tiny ear to ear and 21.25 circ so I guess I’ll pass.

Lynda B: Hi, this is absolutely gorgeous on you......& no cone head I have the RW Upstage in Iced Latte Macchiato which is more ashy I would say. I haven’t had her very long so keeping for best My husband is very impressed when I wear this. I love it! Thank you for another great review.....take care, keep safe. Lynda x

L S: You're adorable in her & that color looks great on you. That's my favorite RW color, although I have several styles in that color, not all of them are rooted. I, too, love the hand tied caps, just have to pick & choose the style because it can get expensive. One of my favorite RW hand tied pieces is Editor's Pick Elite...definitely worth the price.

Lisa Wawrzynski: Hi Denise, thanks for this video. I like the style and love the color shaded wheat, glad you featured it. As much as I want to wear a cool blonde shade, it doesn't suit my coloring. I bought Nice Move in shaded wheat and LOVE the color.

KA Pirk: Very pretty! This one has been on my list, and now it might have gone to the top over Cameron.

allykatt1849: Oh...oh...oh my! I never thought I would see you in such a light color but my goodness, I love this color on you! Beautiful style and it's going on the top of my list. Thanks for a great review!

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: I love my Upstage! Nothing beats a Raquel Welch lace front! You look fantastic in Up Stage!

Marlene Olson: This looks great on you! Very natural and becoming,

Karen Trombetta: I always love the blondes on you. Looks adorable

Michelle Rizzitano: Always love your reviews Denise. Thank you

Silver Tinsel: I don’t think there’s a color or style that doesn’t look great on you!

Billye Singer: That's my favorite wig, in my favorite color...but I have to wear Large because it is tight. No one can see the lace and I get so many compliments when I wear her. I don't wear large on any other Raquel's wigs but this one is too tight if I wear the average...and I get that cone head you are talking about. But large is perfect. It comes down and doesn't ride up. I bought an average and had to return her. I still have 12/22ss in average and when i put it on, it's tight and rides up & it's too late to return it, but will try it on again, just in case my head shrunk. yeah, like that's going to happen! Thanks so much for the review!

Kev L: Love that color!

Angelsangst: I have one of these in shaded biscuit, my head is 21, so pretty small and the wig fits beautifully. I guess they’re all slightly different. I have 2 hand tied Elizabeth’s and the caps are like chalk and cheese. Ones great and the other is left in the box.

Maria Barradas: I love heat friendly fibers, I have 3 HF wigs and two who are not and I always pass them on and wear the HF...question Denise: what would you say it's similar to Upstage but Belle Tress?...I would love to have a straight bob but shorter, Upstage is nice maybe in an auburn shade ( my favorite ) but a bit shorter, this one would sit on my shoulders and it's way too long for me...have you ever tried to cut a wig to make her shorter?...sorry for such a long message, stay well and safe.

Karynn Lynn: That Shaded Wheat is sooo pretty on you! Did you do your makeup more pink with that color wig?

Marie Niemeyer: I have been considering this style as a "sister" wig to Editor's Pick. Taz did a review on the two, and I have been looking for a wig that would look like I just decided to wear my hair straight that day. I don't really care for how the Editor's Pick looks when it is straightened.

Wig Studio 1: Wow!!! You can totally rock the blondes!!!!!!! Gorgeous!

ChildofCHRIST: Love that color on you

The Owens Witches: Omg I love this color on you.

Angelsangst: That style is particularly flattering on you, better than curls I think. Well done!

Shemac Veggie: I love that one on you...perfect!

Geri Weyer: You look GREAT! Rock On!

Kathy Nelson: i just loved the color when you went outside.

Yvette Ratson: you look really good as a blonde, maybe you should branch out into some of the blonde colours

Robin's Wig Party: Really pretty on you.

ChooseHappy Mc: I am thinking about this color… but seems it got some reddish… ugh color so hard. thanks for your work.

Victorious Vikki: Some bunny’s went blondehe he It looks great on you

Tamara Oldham: What wig would be similar? Love softness. But I to have a cone head with this wig I don't like. I really like your videos, many reasons. I have very dark hair, what I have left. Need dark wig.

Jude Christenson: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

LydAtTheRanch: Is your skin tone cool, warm or neutral?

Cathy Wright: I get that cone head also. How can you correct it?

Victorious Vikki: Yeah,,, I’m not a fan of RW wigs either. Belltress is much better!

Gloria Duke: Georgeous on you

Anita Ward: I love RW styles but the H fibers in my opinion always looks like oily head if hair that needs to be washed. Kinda stringy and clumps. It's maybe just me but I have some other heat friendly wigs that don't look or feel like that. Love the style and color.
