Hi beautiful people today I have, if you want to check it out, stay tuned. It says: hmm, hi, hmm! So today I have my first attempt at dyeing a Remy wake and I am wearing my natural hair with fringe flare, but I'm alright. So this week I'm not wearing wigs. This is my rest, natural hair rest week. Ok, so this is my very first attempt at dyeing a Remi week and if you want to know what this wig is I'll leave a link below and I did alter the wig as well. But I will be doing a video on an update on this week. So today, I'm just covering dyeing a Remi wig, so this is her 100 % remy human hair and the tracks that I added was also a hundred percent remy to match, of course - and this is the color before so it was. It was quite a bit read, and that was the only color that they were selling it at at a really good sale price. So I was thinking, oh I'm going to diet right and I was going to go red or darker brown, so I decided to go with the darker brown and honestly, it's a huge undertaking. I don't think I'll ever do that again ever again, okay, so the setup that I had it in was. I have mannequin head and I covered it with a plastic bag, and I covered my tripod with a plastic bag as well, and I put it in the bathtub and basically this was the setup. If you're ever gon na die awake, okay, do it in the bathtub. That'S all I'm going to say um, do it in the bathtub, do it on a tripod stand? If you can - and I know from my hair when I used to get my hair colored or when I used to try to tone it myself from my hair and the length of my hair, I always use two boxes: two boxes of commercial coloring and when I Went to get it done, they would always use two boxes or they were ripping me off. Okay, they told me I needed two boxes, so I I'm like. Okay, nook enough. Sorry, that's my dog they're professionals. I trust them right, two boxes so for this hair I actually use three boxes. This is what I used. I use three boxes and for a little while likes to stockpile hair coloring like if I see it on sale, I would always buy one. So the colors didn't match, but they were in the same color family. I think I had a medium brown and two dark Browns, so I first started using two and then um completely saturate the hair. When I found that I did need the third box. Okay, this hair, when I first got it, was medium light density. I added a pack of 12-inch ego hair, so this is at about a hundred and fifty plus density, okay, 150 plus density. So I had it set up in the bathtub and it made a mess. So it made a mess and it was a lot to clean up in the bathtub. So I can't imagine if you just did it in the bathroom or on a kitchen table as unless the wig is really short um, but if you're doing a medium to light density, Remy wake and it is 12 inches or smaller or shorter, then you could use One box, but I highly recommend using two boxes if it is shoulder length or longer, also more if it is very thick. This is very thick because I did add a full bag of Remy tracks. Now I had it set up like this and I took it off the mannequin head to finish to finish it up. Oh it's on here dude anyway. I found that underneath there was a lot of sort of dry spots that did not get color, so I really didn't need three boxes. One concern I had was the lace. I was worried that the lace would somehow pick up the dye. Okay, part of me understood that you know this is a plasticy lace. This is not the soft lace. It'S not super hard. It'S not super soft. It'S like the thin plastic, durable lace, which I actually like. Okay, so part of me thought what, if it dies the lace, I kind of knew it wouldn't because it is plastic, but there was that fear, okay, because this was my first time so with I did the two boxes right and then I thought I was done. So I took it off the mannequin head and I actually you know upside down, turned it like this and there were parts underneath between the wefts that did not get saturated with color. So I did end up opening the third box and, as you can see, this is very dense. It is super thick, okay, so one so it was pretty messy and I used a lot of water. Okay, one problem I did have and I'll show you. I didn't cut the lace, obviously, because um I had the intention of dying. This is the one problem that occurred and I don't know how I could have avoided it. This is inside-out. This is the lace inside out and I will turn the whole thing inside out. Okay, so the other side of the lace, the hair started coming out. So this side, the inside, like part of the lace, the hair, started coming through the back side. That'S what happens when I dyed it. I don't know how I could have avoided it. I don't know how I could have avoided it. I don't know if it's actually avoidable. So now I have the wig perfectly dyed, it's very evenly like the colors even throughout, and believe me you. If you're going to die or any wig, you should at least get two boxes. If you're doing a commercial color, you should at least have two boxes, because you don't want to be dyeing the wig unless you're doing a short week. But you don't want to be dyeing the wig and then run out of color in the middle of dyeing it. That could be a disaster as much money as you invest in a remy, wig, you're, better off covering you're, better off covering yourself and the hair right and we're used to this part having no hair, because this is where the knots are and blah blah blah. But during dying for some reason the hair came out on the other side of the net and I wasn't particularly rough with it. I wasn't gnashing it. You know, I was very gentle with it. You know I had it on those the mannequin head and when I finished it just to go in and go in between the tracks I generally went through. You know with two or three pairs of gloves, so I was, I was very careful with this area, mainly because I was worried that the dye was going to get to the lace, so I'm not sure why the hair started coming out on the other end. Now, because the hair is, on the other end, coming out the other side of the lace, the inside of the I'm, not sure what to do with that fuzz right there I tried pulling the hair on the other side. You know to see if it'll come back through on the other side and for the most part, no, it's still there right. So I was thinking of cutting it or trimming it. I was thinking of trimming that fuzz on the inside of the lace, but then I'm worried that if I do trim it that somehow that is cutting the knot and that is going to make it fall out on the other side. So that was the result of dyeing a remy wig very, very full, and this is about 14 inches from the nape. It was color 430 and on the video that I had done on it. It looked brown. It looked like a light brown, medium brown, but actually when, when I went out in the Sun, it looked more red, so I really wanted to tone it down. Okay, so this is the result. It is dark brown. If you see it compared to my hair, my hair is an espresso color and this is a dark, medium dark brown, because the the commercial coloring I had was three mixes of Browns. So it's somewhere in between that I'm going to cut the lace and put it on and come back. So this is the result actually did try to Flatiron it. I'M not a good flat iron er, because I've never flat ironed hair unless it was short because I use your curl hair, because my natural hair is very straight. So this is actually the first time I bought a flatiron, obviously um. I don't know how to do it cuz, it's not very flat or straight. So this is her and the color. It probably would look better with the side. Part! Hey thanks for watching, we'll see you real soon stay beautiful, Hey you!

TyAnne Martin: You did a great job on that wig! As far as the hair coming through the lace, I deal with that every time I dye the wigs. I do not know how to prevent it. i think it is just gonna happen. I allow for a certain amount of loss when I dye. I do trim it most of the time. For your first dye, you did well.

Kyle Painton: I know it was a lot of work but the color turned out very nice!

Alia Marie: why do u wear wigs? your hair is beautiful! great job though. <3
