It'S always exciting to see some brand new styles come out. Envy has released quite a few new styles for fall 2021.. We are going to discuss one of those today coming up, so envy has released 15 new styles for fall. 2021 among them are five fully synthetic options and five, what they call envy hair, which is a human hair, blend options and then five toppers so be sure to check those out at wig studio. One wig studio, one sent this particular wig style to me for review. Today and i purchased one with my own fun, so i can show you an unboxing and a different color. Jordan is a short choppy extra curly bob style with a little bit of a longer fringe. I have it here in the color light blonde, but first i want to explain that this is a part of their new envy hair collection. Five new styles released for fall 2021.. I want to get into this envy hair blend with you a little bit so you're. Very aware of what it is, how to style and maintain. So what is envy hair envy hair is a trademarked brand. By envy it describes a blend of human hair and a heat friendly synthetic. So in these blends you will find 30 human hair 70 heat friendly. Synthetic in my discussions with envy they describe this blend as being very durable. They have, ladies, that have worn these blends over two years with proper care and maintenance. They said it continues to look like new and they are daily wig wearers. So i don't have any personal experience with this fiber um. However, i can imagine that that human hair is really going to support and add some longevity to the heat friendly synthetics. It'S also going to be a great option for you. If you're looking to try a human hair piece, human hair pieces are expensive and yes, they are more durable than straight synthetic and they do last a little bit longer, but sometimes that investment is out of reach. For so many you do have enough human hair. In this blend, to really give it that human hair look and feel, and looking at this hair blend you're going to notice that there's absolutely no shine. The light reflects off of this, as if it were completely 100 human hair. I also feel like the touch and the feel the texture and the movement are very much like human hair, just putting that within the realm of affordability. So if you think about it, that's actually right on par or maybe even a little less than some fully synthetic blends with similar cap features. So i'm really sold on the fact that this fiber may offer a lot of the perks of human hair with a very affordable price point. You can style this just like human hair. Now envy does recommend that you use a heat setting of 350 degrees or less and the other recommendation that they have for this. If you go to heat style it or curl it, especially right out of the factory, there's a coating on this wig, a protective coating that protects it against static and movement during shipping. It also helps it retain its moisture and so forth. So you'll have to wash this wig if you want to get the best results out of your curling process, because a lot of times these products may resist uh styling, especially the curls. Some of the care and maintenance recommendations coming from envy is that you would only use products on this hair blend that are formulated specifically for synthetic wigs. So your shampoos, your conditioners, anything that you're going to put in this hair, make sure that it's safe for synthetic blends. They also recommend that you use some sort of product to protect this wig against static electricity and friction. They do recommend the envy renew and repair glossary spray, and this is a very light formula that will help protect the ends of the wig. Now. What i prefer to use and have used for a very long time is the simply silent light: silk spray. It'S pure silicone and a little does go a long way, but the light formula doesn't weigh it down. It doesn't make it look greasy unless we use too much. But what i do is i spray some in my hands kind of rub it together and then scrunch it into the ends and that's quite enough to get some really nice protection on the wigs, and i do find that by using these products that it will extend The life of the wig style, so those of you that know me knew i had to have my hands on this brand new style. Why? Because it's super curly! That'S what i love so much about this, and that is what attracted me to it. Also, the lengthy length seems to be just right, just above the collar on most people, you're going gon na get that nice, curl and volume here. Some of the specs on jordan is about nine to nine and a half inches there at the front pieces. Now that's going to stretch obviously about three inches past my chin, but in its curl pattern it kind of shrinks up to about seven inches is my guess. In the back overall, it's going to be about 11 inches from the crown down that meets up with a three inch nape to create this volume and a little slight stacking in the back. There'S some layering on the sides, but it has some really cute stacking that really lends so nicely to the style. I can't imagine ever wanting to change the texture of the style. I think it would be hard to get a perfectly straight polished look. It would be challenging for sure, probably could be done, but then i would worry that i couldn't get this curl back. I'M always looking for those extra curly styles which are so rare. I think um now not everybody's cup of tea, absolutely for sure, but for those that love curl, i think you're really going to like this curl pattern. It'S uh, it's a fully formed curl. That'S just been slightly deconstructed. It'S got a nice round bouncyness to it. A lot of resilience and buoyancy in those curls, my sister and i both had natural curly hair as children. Now my hair was so frizzy fine and thin, even as a child that i really couldn't get that bouncy body in it. But my sister, on the other hand, had a little a lot more hair than i did, and it was super curly like this and it looked absolutely beautiful and i've always came come back to curls with a little bit of nostalgia, um now this piece. Let'S talk about this cap for a moment: it's a full lace, front left, monofilament side, part, and then you will see open wefts on the sides and back now this lace front is a welded lace. Front that's completely hand tied as well as that monofilament lace part there taking a look at it now. I noticed that on this, the grid is a little bit wider on this, and because it is a welded type lace, it does impart a little bit of shininess. I don't feel like that is a problem. I really can't see it against my skin tone, but the lace material is a little thicker, very, very durable and slightly shiny. Look now that's very easily remedied if you don't like that, just to dab in some foundation powder or something there along that, but it does not extend back into the lace front. All the seams are nicely obscured and the knotting seems to be very fine at the lace front now, because this is a thicker, coarser type density. It'S going to be a little more difficult to see down through the monofilament features so before we get into the unboxing of a mystery color. Let me just explain this light blonde to you real quick. I have seen many applications of this color over time and i think because it's applied to this particular envy hair blend, there's no shine and you can really see through to the true color on this a lot of times when something is shiny. It almost has a gold looking appearance to it. I don't see any gold or brassiness to this unrooted light blonde. I see some a mixture of some ash blonde, maybe a hint of some beige and then some cooler, platinum, okay, it's a beautiful blend. It really is. I could say on the cooler side, but lots of dimension as well, because this is not a rooted color. So are you ready to see an unboxing? I have not seen this yet let me grab it okay. So what we're looking for here is the envy's jordan. In the color lighter red, all of you, red fans out there are going to die on this color um. I have seen this color before on a couple of styles and it's absolutely brilliant um combination of coppers and things now, combined with all this curl wow. Are we gon na get little orphan annie here? I suspect that we will right out of the box now. This particular jordan is right out of the box. I simply shook it out found a parting space. Now i did hang it upside down for the evening. I just hang it upside down on one of my posts here on my wig racks, and so that's all i did. I shook it out really well and then, after applying it, i just kind of swirled around and gently added a little bit of pressure um on those curls to wake them up, wake up, curls, and that's all i really had to do here. So i'm hoping that this jordan is very similar. Let'S check it out: okay, inside of every box that has an envy hair product in it, you're going to get a care guide for the envy hair. So all that i explained to you earlier in this video, you can refer back to that as needed, or you can just check out this informational card that accompanies every style with this fiber blend. Okay, look at that color! It'S brilliant! Isn'T it okay! Here we go net innards, classic envy tag. It acts like a little more of a key card, or something so there it is so beautiful, curl now one one thing i'd love to mention here is that i feel like curly styles, have more variance from style to style than any other type of texture or Style, just because curls are very chaotic, sometimes unpredictable, so i think you're going to be able to see some differences from piece to piece on this particular style because it is so curly. So look at that color, amazing um. You see that it is in that a little bit of a weave pattern there, which is how this one also came, and i just used my fingers a little bit to sort it out, but let's give it some shakes. You know me and shake the tar out of these things. Look at that curl! Isn'T it gorgeous? Oh, my gosh is that gorgeous so a lot of times on the market? You either see a very tight barrel curl or you see more of a heavily deconstructed and tapered shattered. Look like on the bell, tress waves and curls. It'S rare to see this kind of curl. That'S very profuse lots of curl it's more intact! Um! It'S tighter, but not too tight. Now i feel like this particular one in the light blonde is a tighter curl pattern than what i'm noticing already on the lighter blonde. So let's continue to shake it out there. Okay, the fiber feels wonderful, it's very soft. It feels much like human hair and again, i'm not noticing any shine. The light bounces off of this, just like real human hair, does now in the sunshine you know. Even real human hair is gon na. Maybe look a little bit shiny, okay, let's go ahead and look at this cap real quick. That way, we can take a look - and you understand what's going on here, so we have that lace front that is temple to temple. I guess there's a minor extension, but it really doesn't move back into the ear tab. I think that extension is a nice quality feature just because it does hide that seam really really well sometimes, when they abruptly stop the lace at that corner, you can see a seam, but this one is done really well and again that welded lace material. That'S a bit thick a bit scratchy um, but very, very durable. I would suspect, and then back to the crown with that left part. Okay, velvet, ear, tabs lots and lots of wefting. I noticed look at the tight wefts there, they're just nested upon each other. All the way up bound together by these laces here and then you have an extended felted nape with the velcro style. Adjusters one thing on this cap in terms of fit. I can tell you i had to send it in just slightly to accommodate my petite average circumference and we'll check it out on this one as well um, but i would put this on par with a fit like jon renau in, and so i feel like. It'S just really true average, okay! Okay! So if you don't mind, i'd love to take the tag off just because it gets in the way, and i actually had a tag once when i was trying to flip it off and around while i was doing a review and actually come up and cut my Eye the cornea cornea of my eye that shut my camera down real quick um. So i don't want that to happen again, and so i'm going to remove this tag. Okay, so let's go ahead and pop off this jordan in light blonde, i'm going to cinch this in just a bit just so that i can explain to you here very well made. This is a high quality cap, um higher quality from envy than i've ever seen before. Okay. Well, i can tell you that that fit is just almost nearly perfectly average while i'm up here, let's take a look at this color, so um, this lighter red is going to be a combination of coppers, some deep, more deeper copper with some cherry hints to it. A little irish red in there some medium and then some light bright coppers, which you see in the highlight pattern here, especially right there at the lace front. Okay, so it is beautiful and for red lovers out there. This is just this just this is just one of those reds. You know that you just have to try. Okay, so you see it that's all i did was shake it out. Right put it on made my adjustments gorgeous or not um. If you like curl, i think you're going to love this one now. This curl pattern, um as i suspected, is a bit more loose than the one in the light blonde and i'm gon na try to do a side by side. Just so you can see um. Some of those variances, but is it gorgeous or what okay? So let me grab a wide tooth comb and let's take a look at how that works on this fiber um. I suspect that it's going to move through it like butter. I don't feel any resistance, even in these curls a lot of times, curly textures are so coarse and frizzy that you have trouble getting through it. What i like about this is that i'm brushing this out and that might loosen the curl a little bit, but for the most part it's kind of staying intact, so pretty okay! Now i don't care to to completely make this into something that i'm gon na wear out, but i wanted i wanted to just show you what this looks like out of the box, don't be afraid to use your heat appliances. One thing: you'll notice is: there's absolutely no contour or lift at the front okay. So if you want that, you will have to to kind of build that in so you're going to see more of a smooth flatter crown actually and then maybe a quarter of the way down it sprouts into the curl pattern. And i think that if you to get the best results, you might just work that front with your hand going with the grain of the curl and then just gently move them back away from the face. I think that's going to give you your best look. So this style weighs about 3.77 ounces um. I sense that it's probably pretty accurate, but there is a lot of hair here in terms of density. Each one of the fibers has more of a thicker denier as well. So it's a nice hearty, durable feeling, fiber for sure permatease, there's just a very modest amount of permatease, so you're going to see a little bit alongside that. Monofilament part nothing thick heavy or pillowy, and i doubt very much that it's enough permatease to get lift on the top and on the sides back and nape. I'M actually i'm gon na call this one of the curliest styles that i've seen with very little permatease, because you know uh the the volume and the body is sustained by this fiber. You don't really need a lot of permatease and you saw how densely wefted this cap was so there's no coverage issues. So really permatease is not a lot of permatease just isn't needed, and i admire a designer and a manufacturer that can understand that you don't need to be heavy-handed on permatease in order to have good coverage and a nice movement now, because this is a durable heat Friendly human hair synthetic blend, i think that sky is the limit. You can just create endless, looks with this kind of fiber. What you want to know in terms of styling is that i find that it's actually pretty tuckable around the ear kind of tuckable, and that really does help. There'S not a lot of thick pillowy permatease there to create some unnatural, looking mounds of fiber behind the ear. So i do like that for sure, and this fringe you can make it tighter. You could pull it back. There'S just going to be so much. You can do glasses, glasses, fit neatly between the ear and the ear tab. I know i have my funky little reader glasses, on which i goes with my funky curly hair right, that's just me, but a nice secure fit with glasses. So here i have the square bands, the hinged hair band. If you haven't seen these before, i always feature these in my styling segments, because they're an absolute must, however, they're imperative on a style like this, because you're just going to want one of these to hold the hair back to create different looks. You can come down from the top to create more of a decoration type, look with them, but the square bands are really functional. They do help keep the hair out of the eyes, so you can actually come in from the front hook behind the ear and then just release there pull out some of those tendrils at the front. Build up the curl to the desired height. You'Ve got a nice lace front there isn't that a must and it's not going anywhere, there's little rubberized teeth and it just really grabs on to that fiber and holds it in place. But yet it's super gentle and of course, if you didn't want to have those tendrils hanging around the face to create a little bit of a different look, you might be able, just to kind of twist twist it back and secure it with a little jaw clip Or pin actually this does a really nice job of staying out of the face, just kind of sweep it back and it does stay out of the face pretty well okay, so you can definitely pin that fringe back for another cute little look for doing some task. Work or something so that's it. It'S been an up close look at the new jordan by envy exclusive to their envy. Hair collection be sure to check it out at wix studio. One all of the links are below this. Video have a wonderful day. We'Ll see you soon, you

PinkandPink: This is absolutely gorgeous! I feel like this is the perfect right in the middle of a light curl and afro curl. Like a midway point between the two extremes. I've been looking for a curly wig that's just above my shoulders and I think this is it. Both colors are stunning on you

Gloria Lagroon: Taz I love her! She looks so cute on you. Both colors are gorgeous! Love, love the red! Thank you for the review. Have a great day! :)

Bonnie Dicostanzo: OMG!! That is definitely dream hair for me! Thank you so much Taz for this complex, and complete review. I am positive you answered just about any question possible for everyone! Have to have this in red! Xoxo

Margaret Tassey: What an excellent review. Lots of good information on this type of hair. I have been curious about envy hair, but thought they run large. Good to have that cleared up. You always look great in red. Thanks.

Suzanne Dawson: Oh my! I just LOVE this style. Bravo for Envy! Going on my list! I would love that red with a subtle root. What fun!

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: Envy's website shows "available colors" with great photography and I love that!!! My first "real" wig was an Envy and I'm happy to see them come out with some new styles. Great info on the "blend"! I love that red on you,

Sherri Auvigne: I’m definitely a “blond and curly hair” fan but the red is lovely. I enjoyed learning about Envy’s mix of human hair and synthetic fiber. That’s new to me and something I’ll consider. If time allows, what is the color on Wig “S” behind you. It really got my attention during the video. You make every wig look like a keeper!

JaneGoodlove: I’m in love with this wig! I couldn’t wait for you to review it, now I love her even more!

The Owens Witches: I love the idea of Synthetic and Human hair mix. You look beautiful as always Ms Taz.

Suz: OMG Taz, you know this is right up my street with curls, I love both colours but prefer the curl pattern on the blonde one but too expensive for me sadly, added to wish list. Love the pink glasses and the Sqhairband .....Big hugs beautiful xoxo

Twyla 2: Wow! Great information on this human hair blend. I've always wondered about them but could not find much info about them. You are definitely a curly girl! And red is stunning on you.

Lynda Ryan: Taz, this is the cutest wig ever! I haven’t seen one that cute until now! Both colors look beautiful on you! Thank you so much for doing this video! You are so amazing, inside and out!

MW X2: The copper red is absolutely gorgeous on you. Your blue eyes are amazing when you wore it. The length is perfect on you also.

Eva Russell: Both look great on you!! Would love to try the light blonde…thank you for the review and tips

Deborah Luongo: OO0H Taz love this wig!!!And I am so happy you gave a review in the lighter red! As I said in the past you look great as a redhead too. Can’t wait to see the others.

Sharon L: That’s a LOT of hair for the petite features we both have. I’d definitely have to thin her out a bit. The lighter red color is gorgeous for fall!

Jacki H: O.M.G. I love this style and both colors you show! This is going to be a must have for me. Those curls are FABULOUS!

Marlene's Wig & Chat Studio: Gorgeous Style and absolutely beautiful on you!!! I wish curls looked as beautiful on me as they do on you! Great review as always!!! xoxo Mar

Lynn Williams: This wig is so cute! I have long naturally curly hair and I imagine this is what mine would kinda look like if I cut it short. I would love to try short hair but for some reason I have an attachment to my long hair. Due to a health condition my hair has thinned a lot. Also I need to be able to put my hair up in a pony for my job so I can’t go too short anyway. Maybe I’ll try one!

Mint: Hi Taz, I love red hair! My true favorite. I wore red for decades. This red is the prettiest! Do you follow Zabrena? This is shades of Zabrena in every way. (Maybe not length!) However the blonde with its curl pattern just looked you! Two gorgeous pieces. You were so thorough! Great job! Love, Sharon xo

Angela Whitehead: Hi Taz, Beautiful curls! It is however VERY wiggy looking on the top. Especially at the part. Thanks for a very complete detailed demo as always!!!

DeDe Millikan: Omg Taz I just love this one on you!!! Both colors look great too!!! Great review!!!

Sandra G. McAlister: These wigs are really cute, i personally couldn't pull them off, but they're really cute. Very interested in the human hair/ synthetic blend, definitely different!! Thanks Taz, you always look really cute in any style and color wigs!! Have a great day!!

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Taz! I really love the red one and those curls! Love and blessings ❤

Michelle Diekman: Beautiful Wig! The Red is So Gorgeous on you, I Love the Curls and Length. Great info. Love & Hugs From me to you!!

Jackie Savoy: Warby Parker is one online site for glasses. Especially this wig would be great if we could virtually try it on for how it frames the face and color! Looks great on you, Taz!

Cheryl Christina: Hi Taz, you give such great, informative reviews! You look beautiful In every wig!

Kristine Bennett: Wow! I want both colors! I'm normally not into the blondes, but I really love that color! Thanks Tax!

Angela Burns: I love this style!

popgems: Hi Taz, I super excited about seeing a review of Envy's "Harmony", a really cute new release! Any plans to showcase her?

Rhonda Jones: I love this! I’m naturally curly, this is how I always wanted my hair to look. Is there anyway to get this on a large or larger?

jayandess: These wig reds are beautiful. Wish I could wear them but my complexion is too rosy. In Jordan you really reminded me of a dear Irish friend of mine from my working days (naturally wavy red hair, blue eyes). Thanks for the memory.

Michele Simpson: Oh Taz that lighter red is STUNNING on you. Gorgeous

Ibelieveinangels yesido: Really pretty, Taz! Great review(s)! Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

G: Hi, Taz! This wig looks wonderful on you. Can you tell me what style is featured on the "B" wig stand behind you? As a redhead, I've been searching for a color like that for years!

Jackie Marsh: Really Love These Pieces Sweet Friend!! The Rd is Beautiful, and You Look Absolutely Breath Taking in Her!! Thank You Soo Much for a Perfect Review as Always!! Stay You Always!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO

Christiane Bayes: My bio hair is fine and real low density. Now about 50% less due to age. I had natural curl from birth and struggled to make it look full. This is so much how I always wanted my curl and density to be. I am sad this is unrooted. Maybe there are colors that are rooted. I like cool blonds. So becoming to you. I love the part that it is low on permatease. Thank you for this review.

Kelly Verbeek: Hi taz, great review as always. So my bio hair is almost exactly like this naturally, my curls are just more spiraled. I’ve struggled for years, I just want that piece thats “ me”… do you think the crown would easily curl a little. I wish I could post a pic of my hair to show you. Haha

Lucy Gray: The copper is dazzling. Looks like a true ginger, not the purple-based hues we unfortunately get so often. Thanks for the great explanation of this line.

Sue Gale: The red looks really nice on you. Lovely curly wig.

Faith Vogel: The red! So beautiful on you!

lnzinorbit lnzinorbit: Wonderful presentation Taz!!

Janet Confer: I’m usually a blonde girl but the red is gorgeous….

Jackie Savoy: You know those commercials where you can virtually try on eye glasses? I wish online wig stores did that!

Patty Carosi: So beautiful Taz! They really are pretty style's. I too had curly hair all my life until it fell out.So I always love the curly styles. If you have time I would like the name of these one's behind you C J E. Always very informative it helps so much. Thank you. Wishing you and husband a fun relaxing weekend! Stay warm I am already cold every morning!! ❤

Mitzi Council: Wow! This is adorable!! I wish I could pull it off!!!!

Gaining wisdom: This is off topic, but thought Id share with you, my experience with mono girl by Ellen Willie. You talked about yours being a sort of unicorn, so I've been hesitant to purchase. Well I wig sister was selling her brand new one due to, "too much curl" I saw the pics and was so excited I thought I was going to burst! So I got her brand new, for a steal! She's on her way and she looks JUST LIKE YOURS!! SO SO EXCITED!!!

angelxorae88: Taz how beautiful is this wig and both look beautiful on you. I also love that sweater because PINK is my color. would you mind telling me where to buy one TY , RAE

Sharon: Taz, You killed it, again! You & I have the same taste in curls . I have a huge question that I’m unsure if you’ve ever touched upon…? I unfortunately, have a melon-head ! …manufacturer’s make so few large caps in the cute wigs… are there any brands that run large beside Bella Tress? I’ve been told by a friend (who performs drag), that there is a way to make all the Average caps larger by cutting in certain places. Is that something you’ve any knowledge about? Again, thank you, thank you, thank you ❣️❣️ Your videos ROCK !

Audra Bartholomew: Hi Taz! What style is C and E behind you? Thanks

megan ryan: Cute as can be❤️

Heather Holmes: I have naturally curly shoulder length, longer in front, shorter in back. I’m looking to transition to a similar curly wig and cannot find one! I would prefer a topper but they don’t exist in curly. Any advice appreciated! Trying to transition without alerting others.

Gloria Lagroon: Sorry Taz I forgot you have Jordan in two colors..and I asked about her twice. The curls are a little different on both styles. That's what threw me off. Appreciate you so much my friend! ❤

Jessica Rhodes: Beautiful ❤️. Can you tell me the name for A in the back? Tysm!

Anne-Lesley Bedini: Hi Taz you look fabulous, will you use the curl if you wash it? Because of the human hair?

Amy Rutherford-Close: Didn't know there was a human hair blend

MichelePearl: Beautiful.

Janet Savona: Its gorgeous like you!!

Camary M: May I have the info for K please? Thank you.

angelxorae88: Taz, Do you know of any wig that is Red with blonde highlights thru it? TY RAE

World mix channel(Neeraj)⚫️: Nice video

blue car joy Haven: Taz wow getting both payday if still have next week.

Ziggy3339: Wondering if Permatease is hot ? This is a cute wig. Found rooted looks best on me…but I’m sure there must be exceptions. Great video. Thank you for so much time & effort. It’s great to view a well lighted , thoughtfully presented & informed evaluation. I can see you put in the effort & time for this . Also, your new studio is producing even better videos (if that’s possible). I think you’ve found yourself an upscale home office for this hopefully good business.

Randi Keck: In your review the wig looks much longer and fuller than all of the stock photos. I LOVE it the way it looks like you - not so much in the stock photos. Do you have a very short face and small head? Wigs always look shorter on me than they do on you!

Eva Russell: What is on the mannequin A?

christine dockler: Can you please tell me the name of the wig head e.Thank you

Thomas Grafe: Hello TAZS :-). Red wig is betterrrrrrr. :-)

Jacki H: Hi Taz. If you have time, what is the name of mannequin "U"?
