Hey everybody welcome back to tesla's weight closet at wig studio one. Today i have a look for you on a brand new estetica style for fall 2020. Very much anticipated. This is ryder in the color rh 1488 rt8. The full look breakdown of this new style and color coming up. This style was sent to me by wink studio. One for this review today be sure to go down below expand the description box. Where you'll find a link to this style, you can check out the details and pricing. There will also be a promo code for you to use for 30 off at wig studio, one. We invite you to shop at wig studio one. If you have any questions, you can contact them at support wickstudio1.com. So ryder is a short straight heavily layered angled bob style. Doesn'T it seem like we've seen this style before? I don't know they just all seem to run together to for me, but those short straight angled bob style cuts. I think they'll probably always be in style now. This particular one does have a couple of unique features, i'll be sure to point out today, but let's take a look at this color. First, this rh1488 rt8. I have presented this color many times and it was also included. My in my aesthetica blondes video, where i showed you all the blondes by estetica many of them. I think there was six to ten of them if i'm not mistaken, i'll, go ahead and link the video up here now. What i've noticed is that colors can evolve over time. They can change depending on the style in the uh, where it's produced manufactured. You know what batch it's in what year. It'S made that kind of thing, and i really feel like this rh 1488 has gotten. Maybe a bit more gold in tone, i used to remember it as as being more of a neutral tone, but it does have like a honey based color and then it is highlighted with that. Amber blonde highlight - and i think that's probably what it is. Some variations of this color have more of that amber blonde or amber gold, highlight then than others um. So i think this is neutral overall, just because it has a very neutral base color, but i think that that amber gold in this particular application does move it into warm territory. So i i believe it's neutral, leaning, warm and then that medium brown root is still very dark. It is a very pretty color. I am waiting for estetica to come out with um a more ashy blonde tone, not platinum, but just an ashy layered ash on ash blonde tone. Aren'T you so, i think, on a bob style like this, the the layering, the the measurements, really make a difference in how it is going to look on you. So i am approximately six and a half inches from the hairline to the chin. I think that's i'm realizing those pretty short. So most of the time, the the pieces at the front are really going to hang down a little further on me than average um. So just keep that in mind. It would be helpful if you had your own face measurement, so you could determine where these layers are going to strike you around the face. Um, so right in the front rider features about a seven and a half inch piece right here at the front, and i think that's true. I think that does stretch about an inch below my chin there. Now it appears that there may be some additional layering here at the front um, but really. What i think is that it's coming from the sides and we're going to discuss that here in just a moment the crown is about eight inches crowned down, and then it really does taper down then into a two and a half inch nape. So you will get a nice stacking beveled effect right there at the back and that angles down then into those front pieces. There'S about a six inch layer here on the sides. Now this one does feature a full temple to temple lace, front and that's a seamless lace unit that extends back to the crown, on the left hand, side. What was ironic about this is that um, when i, when i first got it out of the box and and applied it. The first thing that stuck out at me was that part that part is actually completely pristine. It'S sharp it um. It has no edges. It'S just perfect all the way back, centered on that lace. It'S a very long part that goes back to the crown, but they didn't bother with a weave pattern or anything else. I think that the straight part on this crisp style is probably the best option. So while i'm up here, let's take a look all right, so here's your lace front, it does run temple to temple and it is interspersed there. The dark root is interspersed with some of the highlight color. It does soften that root. Quite a bit. It'S very fine. Knotting right there at the front, so i think this is actually really well done. This is the best we can hope for with such a dark root and then again you can see the illusion of scalp all the way back to the crown along that lace. Part. So what i think is really unique about this style is the layering um, of course, you're going to see a lot of razoring on these the ends of these layers, and i think this first layer here on the sides, the six inch layer that comes off of The crown down is really heavily razored and you can almost pick out it's a very delineated type of layer right there, and i think that is what we're seeing in the the model photos, because that model photo looks like it's um. It looks like it's very. It has a lot of volume, looks like it's a lot of volume and a lot of texture and a lot of body. Doesn'T it to keep those layers going, but in reality this is a very slim profile style, so you're really going to have to work at bringing out this layering. You have to get in there with your fingers and just bring air into the layers, get them all. Nice and separated so that you can really bring out the beauty of this razor layering. One thing i've noticed just by wearing it a little bit here prior to the review is a number one. The lay the layers just get they go back together. It doesn't stay separated, it doesn't stay full on the sides. This has very little permatease all over. This is a very low permatease style, basically just a thin layer around that lace, a little bit in the back, really barely any at the nape and on the sides. Nowhere on this style do i feel the springy little hairs that we traditionally think of as permatease. So i feel like this is meant to be more of a low profile style and the manufacturer photo just makes it look like you're going to get all this volume. A medium to low density on this and each one of these fibers is super fine and dry. I'M already getting a lot of static. The weather is turning a little bit less humidity and i'm starting to see those static. Those pieces react to the static around the face. I think you can see here and those are difficult to tame down and i have actually have a video on that and that'd be a great one for you to watch with the upcoming drier weather coming, but back to this layering i mean, if you just get In there it's probably going to have a little bit of a forward movement. It'S going to frame the face nicely and you're going to be able to see all that razoring. It has a little bit of a coil around the face. So it's just it's just beautiful around the face so right out of the box, i talked a little bit about that part. I simply shook it out. Put it on didn't have to find the part. The part found me um, but i did use the heat from my hand just a little at the front. It reacted very well actually to that. Just give me a little bit of lift there at the front so that the part stayed right there and it divided around my face, and i did my best to kind of keep it out of the eyes. This style is prone to getting really stringy. First of all, you have that really fine, ultra fine fiber and those fibers, especially in a situation where there might be some static. They tend to clump together a little bit. So i think you're, probably with this style gon na, have to run a brush through this um several times a day, if you're wearing it all day now um a wide tooth comb, i don't think, is gon na quite do the trick. I think a wide tooth comb would actually enhance the stringiness of it, but if you have just a little wig brush like this, you would just take it out of your purse and just run it through. It would take you just a couple of seconds in the ladies room. It actually fluffs out again pretty nicely but, like i said, i really think that this style is going to get a little stringy on you several times throughout the day. All right. So, let's run down the highlights: a polished bob, a sleek, layered polish bob short. It has a bit of an angle to it lace, front, left, lace, part all the way back, pristine parting space, a nice lace front with fine knotting, a nice soft look as good as you can get very little permatease. Remember on this style, you're not going to get a lot of volume and lift it's meant to be a little slimmer profile. Um. The density is just an average density, but due to those very fine fibers, i think you're going to see a lot of fly. Aways and some stringiness inside look at the cap for estetica's rider. This is a classic estetica. Cap no surprises here. There'S your lace front. It does run back through the ear tab, it's nicely contoured and then that lace extends through the left hand, side all the way. Back to the crown there's a closed ear tab, an open, extended nape with the incremental hook style, adjusters lots of wefting. There is a lot of stretch on this style and it can accommodate more easily an average large than it would be for a petite average. So, as i mentioned, this style is right out of the box. I haven't done anything to it. I haven't used any product in this hair. This is the way it is right out of the box, just a simple shake uh the glasses fit beautifully between the ear and the ear tab on this style. There'S very little permatease there and, as we know, the estetica caps are a little more minimal with those open ear tabs, so you're not going to have a problem getting a nice comfortable fit with your glasses. Now, because that part is a very pristine, stubborn part there. I'M not sure you're going to want to do much anything different if you tried to part it on the other side, i think you risk exposing the cap and um there's a little bit of parting space here to work with about an inch. So if you try to move the hair over on the lee edge of that part of that lace, i just still think you're going to have an uphill battle, because it's really trained and pressed into that pristine part. So you could maybe do a little bit of volume on the top just pinch it as much as you can. I just don't think you're going to have much luck getting that to stay just because there's no permatease there, no substantial permatease to support that thanks for joining me today for a look at the brand new estetica's rider in the color rh 1488 rta be sure to Check this out at wing studio, one see you next time on taz's wing closet at wig studio, one you

Brenda Gregory Yuen: Would LOVE if Estetica came out with an ashier blonde with a lighter root! This is a lovely style -- I wish there was an app that allowed us to place these different wig styles on our face so we could see how it looks! One day, right? :) thanks, Taz. Take care.

Krista L: Thanks for this! When I saw the stock photo I was like "yes!" because it looked as though you could get some volume to it, but, alas, I was wrong. This is why your videos are so appreciated! I live in a city where there are no wig shops so I rely on wonderful people like you and other YouTuber'ers who tell me what a wig is really like which helps me when I place an order online. So, thank you, once again!

Lisa Wawrzynski: Hi Taz! Great review, thanks! I love the very natural movement and look of these hair fibers. It looks like a salon-fresh cut although it seems that the rooting is a bit too dark for my taste. Like others have commented, this is the look and texture of my hair ;-). I've been growing out my silver hair for over a year-and-a-half (no more dye and highlights, keeping it healthy) and haven't gotten it cut since February due to COVID. Seeing your presentation has made me grateful for my fine locks and given me the motivation to make a salon appointment for my bob cut (I call it the "Peppermint Patti"). Hugs, Lisa

Marlene's Wig & Chat Studio: Love Ryder! Mine hasn’t arrived but now I’m really excited. I love the razor cuts and the sleekness. It really is different from the stock! Yep, I’ll be sharing on our FB page! I know our members are anxious to see Ryder! XOXO

Sharon L: Excellent review, Taz! It’s definitely different from the manufacturers image but a great wig for someone who’s looking for a sleek, polished bob.

Denise Mason: I agree that Estetica needs a lighter ashy blonde with a lighter root! I love so many of their styles, but I always return due to the color!

Mint: Hi Taz, this is the straight, no-body hair I’ve had all my life. I have no desire to buy the same! LOL! Different looks for different folks! Love, Sharon xo❤️

Margaret Tassey: So, if you want to recreate what your fine, thin, straight hair would look like with a great modern cut, this is your piece. Thanks for the review.

Jocema Bittencourt: Taz, I have been watching your reviews for a while, and this is THE BEST, the best wig on you! It matches your personality, your spirit, everything! Love it!

Sue Berry: Thanks Taz your review is honest and has helped me to decide xx love your reviews x

TIme Enough: This is exactly how my real hair used to look when I got it cut. I love the layering. Might have to try this one at some point. Love the back and the part. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Carol Powell: Yes, Estetica needs a neutral blond color, their 14/88 is too dark for me, and thank you for always addressing the permatese issue in your wig reviews. I did receive my RW last week; Upstage in a beautiful all over platinum Shaded Biscuit! Yay! Thank you Wig Studio1!

Rita From Boston: Hi Taz. New to wigs. Love all your reviews I bought my first 2wigs (based on your reviews) in Malibu blonde. The color is perfect for me. I am considering buying Ryder. In your opinion which color is similar or close to Malibu Blonde. Thank you for all that you do to educate us in our wig journey.

Robin Cardin: Love this cut! This length looks really nice on you. I like it because it's not too puffy.

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: When I saw the stock video I was not impressed and thought part looked too fixed, I guess I like a more messy part line but you made it look so much better. Pretty style on you and I think those layered bob styles are so nice! Great review Taz.

Wear Wigs with Me: Oh, this style is so chic! I think this would look fabulous with a high neck black dress! Great review, Taz!

Truth be Known: Estetica needs reds. They have one of the most beautiful red shades of any manufacturer IMO RTH6/28 but they only have it available in a few longer styles. It is mind boggling that they do not offer it in any shorter styles. I would have bought Ryder already if it was offered in that shade. Love the style. Great review as always Taz! Beautiful

o3MTA3o: Oooooh. I just ordered this one in this color and I'm pumped about the look of it. Thanks for the review.

Anthony's Wig Spot: I noticed it was stringy and had a lot of fly aways too when I first got it I used some Jon Renau pick me up dry shampoo And just used some Jon Renau piece out cream it kept them at bay really nicely I only had a few after doing that but I think it looks so natural with a few fly aways an it really brought out those beautiful layers as well

swineinny1: Very natural looking & super flattering, Taz! Was thinking the roots are such a sharp contrast, but I suspect it wouldn’t look as good with a lighter or no root.

Judy Bennett: I love the unusual side shattered razor cut, but from the front it does look like alot of other similar styles you have shown. I used to wear my hair like this back in the 1960's, but to add volume would use 3 inch rollers, rat the hell out of it, and use lacquer hair spray like Hair Net!! I know I aged myself, LOL!! For once the stock foto looks better than the actual wig but on you it still looks awesome! Hope you are enjoying the fall weather out there in Ohio...Here in San Jose it's 95 degrees and dodging fires!! Stay safe!!

Wanda Daniels: Love this new bob!! Have to have it.❤

mary allen: Hey, Taz. Great review... I think the manufacturer's photos are terribly misleading. Especially since the piece has no permatease!! If you can't get fullness, no one can!! That being said it does look really cute on you, as everything does. Esthetics definitely needs to add a light ash blonde to their lineup... Stay well. Blessings. Much love, Mary XOXO

Billie Fox: I really like Ryder. I think it will go on my list.

Flower Child: Very informative. Beautiful! Thanks so much

Barbra Mighall: Wow! I will never go by manufacturer's photos. Completely different style than what they show. I will always do my research on your channel.

Michele Trush: Thanks for the great review. I’ll stick with my JR Victoria

luckystars2000: Will you be reviewing any Estetica wigs in the new smoky rose color? I’d love to get your take on it! Also wondering about the belle tress rose gold color when its available.

LoveMyDog: Wow! Those readers! Love the style and color. Are they from readers.com? If so, what is the name/number of the style and of the color. Thank you for your wonderful review.

Dede Vaughn: That's what frustrates me about estetica, no cool blondes and I can't do golds. I'm wondering though, with this color...my eyes are a light brown leaning more to a golden amber. I wonder how the same color highlights may look?

Diane Lowe: YES ! Desperately need ashier tones of blonde, AND on a dark brown root that does NOT hav warm tones. My skin tone is very white, but I am a winter coloring bcuz of my dark blue veins, so I look great in ash hair colors, but sickly in warm tones. Sad but true, go figure, huh ? ‍♀️ I love all of your reviews, mainly bcuz u do such a great job at relaying the colors. Thank you so very much !

Alli Cat: Reminds me a lot of bellissima ♡ estetica needs more greys too

Holly Kurtz: You look gorgeous in Ryder!

Candy Chand: Seriously, do you just roll out of bed looking perfect? Your husband is one lucky man.

Take Control Beauty: Hi Taz I just got my iPhone back from repair what a nightmare that was , now I gotta catch up :) This looks very cute on u but I'm not a Bob gal! Wish I was! I need bigness :) That said u look cute in this and all styles ! Ur so helpful with ur wig reviews and ur stying tricks make all the difference on this wig in particular! ! Hugs to you Baba

Roots, Rocks & Feathers: She reminds me a bit of the RW Real Deal. I'm 8" from hairline to chin and it could be too short for me, not sure, but I was going to get a Real Deal so who knows? The nape is very stacked, though, maybe a tad longer at the nape than Real Deal? I'll have to think about it some. Cute! I saw it on Kim, too, very easy to wear with sweaters! I also want an Estetica ash color! ~Cyn

kk doc: Needs to be RT12 lol.

Wyzer Now: Beautiful

Michele KT: The color and rooting are nice. The style is good for someone who likes very straight, fine hair but this one's not for me.

megan ryan: ❤️

Wyzer Now: I went to WS1 to purchase this but they don’t have a blonde I truly like. I don’t want a root at all. My natural hair color is a very light blonde and the dark roots look ridiculous on me with my blonde eyebrows (I don’t like wearing brow pencil or brow makeup).

Suzanne Dawson: Maybe it’s the video lighting, but the root is so dark, it almost looks black against that blonde. Very abrupt! Yes, the blonde does look more gold than ash. The style is adorable but that root!?!?! I

Somewhere in the Midwest: Do you have to trim the lace and how does the lace not show when you wear it? TYIA

R.C. Stocks: Oo I like this! What is the wig on the top right middle? Rooted straight blonde one?
