Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wig closet at wig studio one. Today i have a new style from that raquel welch 2020 fall collection called flirting with fashion in the color 1923 ss. All the details you won't want to miss coming out. This style was provided to me by wig studio one for this review. Today we invite you to shop at wig studio, one expand the description box below where you'll find a link to this product, with all the prices and details, as well as a promo code. Flirting with fashion is a short shaggy cropped, bob style cut, it has a nice practical, fringe, bang and a gently stacked back. This is the shortest style of the three new styles coming out in that fall: 2020 collection. Let'S take a look at this color, so this is my favorite blonde by raquel welch in their heat friendly line, this rl1923ss. It has some sandy blonde tones in there there's a little bit of honey. I see some ash platinum blonde. The only disappointment that i have with this one is that it doesn't have enough of that beautiful ash platinum highlight it, has a dirtier appearance than uh some of the the applications of the shaded biscuit, for instance. This is the real deal. This was released in the spring. This is also in shaded biscuit. It looks like a completely different color. Doesn'T it this one uh the shaded biscuit on the flirting with fashion is warmer it's darker in tone. It looks like it has a really long root and it's kind of a ruddy uh dirty blonde, looking appearance instead of a bright blonde with the platinum highlight. So i am rather disappointed for me personally because i, like a lot of that platinum, highlight so looking at the specs, then we're looking at about a four and a half inch front piece there, a nice practical fringe to wear and then in the back. It looks like it's around four and a half to five inches there at the crown there's some gentle stacking there and that does taper down into a two inch nape. So i feel like there's ample coverage in the back. Those layers are stick straight: they're pressed very straight back there that gives that brings to life all of that razor texture in the stacking effect back there, but it still gives you some gentle volume here at the crown so that it gives you a nice profile. There'S kind of an inward swept movement similar to the real deal, and i think that that is pretty common among shags of any style. It features a temple to temple, hand-tied, lace, front and single monofilament top. Let'S take a look at the lace front. Now this lace front, i think, is very well done. It runs temple to temple, but it does not extend back into the ear tab. I really enjoy an extended lace front um. It hides the seam so much better as well. I don't see any seams, though, on this, and i think they did an amazing job of splicing in some of those finer baby type hairs to cover up any seams. It gives a nice natural look from the hairline and you can see there's just a very small banding of that highlight color that platinum now the root does look extended. It looks like it's longer, there's more of the root showing and it's a very dark root. Um. You can still see the illusion of scalp, no matter how you part it due to that single full monofilament top. It feels like a very nice lightweight style to wear. I love all the shaggy texture. It'S going to go so beautifully with fall jackets turtlenecks, it's just so easy, so this style is right out of the box. A couple of things that i noticed about it right out of the box um the first one, is that there was it just took a bath and silicone. It looked greasy um and that's because of the silicone that's applied from the manufacturer. It can make the uh the strands of hair, the fiber look greasy and dirty, and so i did notice that. But i know what it is. I know it's just that silicone, which will eventually kind of friction itself away and uh. If you don't like that, you could always give it a shampoo before you wear it, but i did notice that it makes the fiber a little more stiff because of all the silicone on it. Just think they got a little heavy-handed with it on this piece right out of the box, depending on where you part it that that front piece there just kind of wanted to swoop over my eye and as you know, i like a little bit of lift. So i tried to use the heat from my hand and due to kind of that greasy texture because of the silicone. I really was not able to achieve what i wanted there, but it looks really cute. That'S a nice practical fringe. It'S also been texturized, so you can get some nice spiky appeal to it, even if you wanted to use a little bit of styling paste or cream. I don't do that because i feel like it attracts dirt, and i have to wash my wig more often and i like to use just use my fingers to create a style and even though there's a full monofilament top. I believe you can get some gentle volume on top just by pinching it in kind of swirling, at the root and pinch in a little bit of volume on the top and the sides, according to your taste and preference, it could also be worn very smooth, as I showed you there with the bang coming kind of straight down. You could get a very smooth appeal to it. I like mine with a little bit of vavavoom. You could even use this little squirt of water to bring out that texture and i really like the funky look of it when i fluff up those layers. I would say this is a light. Textured style by raquel, welch, raquel welch usually has a nice medium texture to it. Appealing to to everyone a lot of times. I can get a style like my recent editors pick. It just have way too much hair. For me, i really don't like thinning my wigs, unless i absolutely have to i try to make them work through styling. Before i start thinning on on the wig. This particular one needs absolutely no thinning. It'S naturally a light density right out of the box. Now there is some permatease you'll find permatease around that monofilament a little bit at the crown very very little at the back and virtually none at the nape. It'S meant to have that stacking into a low profile, nape a virtually none at the ear tab and maybe just a bit there at the temple. So it's very very well done. I don't sense any thick pillowy permatease anywhere on this style, but just a thin layer around that monofilament top just to give it the boost that it needs to give lots of versatility in how you wear it. I mean i honestly, if i fluff this just a bit at the root with my fingers, a pick and a fluff. I feel like this volume that i'm getting will probably stay long-term. This is a part of the true to life fiber collection by raquel welch. So it is heat friendly, a lot of times the raquel welch heat friendly fibers will react very nicely just to the heat rub my hand, but don't be afraid to use the appliance just a little bit at a time to achieve the look that you want. Oh, here's an inside look at the cap for raquel welch's flirting with fashion. There is a temple to temple lace front, but it does not extend back into the ear tab. So you'll see a seam right there at the temple, it's completely hand tied nice, fine knots. You do have a seam adjoining to the single hand, tied monofilament top very nicely threaded there. You can easily see the appearance of scalp. This is also a part of their memory. Cap 3 collection, which includes the silicone on the wefts, giving it a nice secure and custom like fit a nice, a nice substantial ear, tab with very sturdy stays a standard velvet nape and velcro style adjusters. I did not have to take this one in to accommodate a petite average circumference. I probably could so i feel like this is very much average. So, like i said this is right out of the box. I simply gave it a shake kind of picked and fluffed around it looks like there's product in the hair. There is no product in this hair. This is simply the leftover silicone from the factory the glasses fit beautifully between the ear and the ear tab on this low density, lower permatease style. Oh thanks so much for joining me today for a look at the new flirting with fashion in the color shaded biscuit rl 1923 ss, a fall 2020 raquel welch be sure to check it out at wig studio. One see you next time on tiles wig closet at wig studio, one you

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: Hey all! I couldn't resist.. I just ordered this style in regular BISCUIT RL19/23..unrooted! I can't wait to see this in an unrooted platinum!! I will show and compare as soon as it arrives! XOXO TAZ

Judy Armstrong: I know you've heard this before, but it bears repeating, you could put anything on your head and look fabulous!! So darn cute and so happy to see your photos on WigStudio1, you wear the wigs better than ANY of the models :) I'll bet your hubby is so proud to accompany you anywhere. I have worn wigs for several years now and only one works well for me, I would love to branch out to all these darling wigs you review but they never look as good as they do on you! I'll take that as a positive as it refrains me from being an "addict" LOL

Valerie Noyes: I really like the style of this one! I'm happy to see you didn't have to drastically cinch it in so I'm taking that to mean it's not as huge as Real Deal. Not as happy with the very dark, longer root. Thanks Taz, fabulous review as always.

Mint: Hi Taz, that is so cute with so many ways to wear it. It will be enjoyed by lots of people I’m sure. If it was average-large it would already be in my cart! You look wonderful in it. It looks totally natural! ❤️xo, Sharon

Donna Cowden: Great review! I'm so happy you touched on the lack of highlights around the face area. This is a selling point for me on this style (all of our tastes are different). Beautiful wig.

Sue Davis: As a bang wearer, I'd love if you'd include the option of styling a bang in any of your reviews! Ta!

Deanna Pennington Simpson #HanoverHaunting: Taz , thank you for all your wonderful videos . I absolutely love how you show the many different styles and looks you can get from a wig . I just ordered this wig yesterday ! I am so excited Much love to you TAZ XO

adriana standard: Hi! Taz I agree, this co!or is missing the platinum touch that I love. Love the flexibility of styles. I would buy it in a minute if it had the platinum touch. Thanks for being honest and pointing out strengths and weaknesses.

Julie Bliss: Thanks, Taz. You always do a wonderful job with your reviews. I wonder if you would be interested in showing us two sister wigs with one curly/wavy and one straight. I think it would be fun to own two wigs like that. Thanks again for all you do!

Sherilane OZ.: Hi, As usual you are spot on about this one. I love your reviews. They are so up front and honest. You really wear all the wigs so well. You are doing a great service to all of us that need more hair. I hope you and your family are doing well. Thank you Taz.

Donna: So cute on you Taz. I agree. I prefer the lighter color of Shaded Biscuit but this warmer color is nice too considering we’re headed into fall.

Judy Bennett: What a COOL wig!! From the front it comes off very sophisticated and conservative and from behind and sides you get that boho funkiness. The roots are a bit dark, but for me it adds to drama.

Cheryl The Pearl: Just ordered the Flirting with Fashion in Iced Cafe Latte. Hope I’ll like the color, I have many of her wigs, some in blonde shades and some in reddish brown. So I can’t wait to get it and hope the colors in it are great! Thanks for promo code. ❤️

Sharon Clement: I love the dirty blonde look for me, got to have this one for fall

Kim Allen: Love this style and the color looks great for fall. I noticed the colors are not the shaded versions we are use to when checking out the individual colors. The “longer root” is fitting for 2020 with all the challenges of Covid! Lol

Karen's Kloset: I really love the style that is adorable I am a voltage wearer and this one looks like an updated style between voltage and ignite I really love the style very very cute

Wanda Daniels: Love the short wig!! Just bought 2 wigs because of u.Cant wait to get them.mila and finn.loved them on u. Keep up the good work!! YEA❤

Patty Carosi: Hi Taz! This one is so cute also! You just look so beautiful in them all Taz. I do love the jacket also. Thank you Taz I really love all the review's! ❤

Geri Weyer: Love this wig.... ordered it 2 weeks ago (Iced Latte Macchiato) right after your review. LOVE it. Dashed to the grocery store, received a compliment within 25 mins!

sdraper2011: So cute! I love the face-framing. RW always does that well with both cut and color. Question: what is the wig over your right shoulder, top shelf, on the left side of the screen, long and wavy? I can hardly watch your videos without being tantalized by all the beautiful wigs behind you!

Sharon L: I love the funky look too!! Beautiful style!!

laurie graves: Hi Taz - I am addicted to your videos and WIGS! After watching your videos for zillions of hours I ordered my first wigs a month ago -Ivy Noriko and Natalie Jon Renau. I am petite and my bio hair is very fine and thin. I LOVE 12FS8 by JR and the density of Natalie. I need help on which brands have the most realistic low density and what colors in other brands are similar to JR 12FS8? Thanks for your help! LOVE you and your videos.

Holly Kurtz: Oh Taz, you look gorgeous as always! I really love this one on you! I do agree that this version of SS Biscuit is not as pretty. Thanks for a great review!

Janean: In February of this year I ordered Curve Appeal by Welch in *shaded biscuit,* (like all my Welch pieces) and it also had a long dark root with much less platinum blonde. It looks like I need to shampoo my hair when I wear it. It's always a gamble. lol!

Carrie L.: Taz, I love my Real Deal RW, Shaded Biscuit, that I purchased recently after seeing your review. I love the bright highlights and less density of the wig compared to my Ready for Take Off, Shaded Biscuit. I am considering Flirting with Fashion, I am seeking your opinion on the density of it compared to Real Deal and Ready for Take Off. Which does it most resemble in density and length, edginess, etc. Thank you.

Debra O: I just ordered this one in a gray. Can’t wait to get it!

Marlene's Wig & Chat Studio: Such a cute style, Taz! It's a shame about the color; there really is a difference when you compared it. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about regular Biscuit! Thanks for the review of this new RW. This is not one I purchased; I only purchased the other two. Love and Hugs, my friend! XOXO Mar

Sheila Keilty: Too cute!! Love! And you look adorable! I am surprised at the color oddities!! Hope they're not changing the PSB! Thanks so much! XOXO

Jennifer S: This is very cute on you! It reminds me of Trendsetter by Toni Brattin. Thanks for the review you are always so honest.

Teresa McNorton: Lovely shaggy style. Short choppy styles really are my thing and you wear them so well, Taz! Very interesting that the shaded biscuit is a slightly different shade from the real deal style you compared it to. I think I would also be a little surprised/ disappointed to get a new wig style from the same manufacturer in a shade I thought I knew, only to find a noticeable shade difference. I’m sure the silicone dressing you mention can’t make that much difference and all new wigs straight from the box must have that applied to them, right? So have they tweaked the shade because it’s an autumn release?

Jane Ramsay: Tazs your reviews are amazing you are such a beautiful lady, and you look great in every wig you wear.

Chesapeake: This wig is a mono-top version, with many more color choices, of Textured Fringe Bob by Hairdo. I have the Hairdo version so I recognize it. I've ordered the RW Flirting with Fashion in a different color. If you are wary of the price point on this style, take a look at Textured Fringe Bob as a possible alternative.

Wyzer Now: I’m in agreement with everything you said about this piece, the color, cut, style, etc... it doesn’t appear that the highlight is as obvious around the hairline either. I very much appreciate your honesty, it’s refreshing. Thanks.

Billie Fox: I really liked this style from your video and I went to check it out on the website. The pictures they give would not have made me want. I think this could be a fun style though.

Norma Fruin: I think the biscuit will look better too! You still look pretty Taz! (As always) The cut is very flattering, thanks for the great review

Gail Powell: Hi Taz! Love your videos. I have just received two different wigs I ordered from RW in Shaded Biscuit and was very disappointed in the color! No way were they the color shown in your videos. They have very little highlighting and very skimpy bands of blonde at the hair line. I was even wondering if it was the same color you have modeled. Have they changed the color for the fall and winter?? I’m hesitant to try another one.

Victoria Strunk: It’s cute! Like the color and how Piecy it is.

Roots, Rocks & Feathers: I agree with you on all the negatives on this one, color being less bright, lace front not being extended, root being more pronounced, etc. It's a super cute style, to be sure. No extended nape? They're trying to cut costs, I guess. I really, really wish RW would come out with non-HD styles! Seems HairUWear has abandoned their customer base who love their styles, quality and lace fronts, yet are not fans of HD fibers. Makes me sad because I am a RW fan for sure! Have a wonderful first week of September, my friend! ~Cynthia

Janet Lee: Tax: do the reviewers sometimes style, trim the wigs to their satisfaction before they present. Sometimes the wigs styles don’t look the ones the reviewers are showing.

Anthony's Wig Spot: I like what Raquel Welch is doing with there styles lately. You look fantastic in this one too!

Gerri W: Thanks Taz for the review I agree color does look different but the wig itself is cute. I wonder how it will look after you wash it to get the silicone out I don’t like my wigs to look greasy so I always wash mine if there is silicone when I receive a new wig. Have a great day

Wear Wigs with Me: So cute! Great review!

BernsauerJagd: Thanks for the review! went to order this in my fav color RW 511 Sugar Charcoal but it is not available! In fact, none of the new fall wigs are offered in this color - any idea if it will be offered in 511? Or why it is not offered in 511? Sooo disappointed

BrightnBreezy Felix: Great review

Rita K: Adorable - as always on YOU!!!!

Christine Martinez: I have a 19.5" head circumference so I usually have to alter my wigs by cutting about 4-5 rows of wefting out of an average size wig. With the silicon wefting on the Flirting with Fashion wig, will it be difficult for me to make the needed adjustments? Thank you for your response.

Barbara M: Taz that style looks so perfect for you. Both fluffed and closer to the the head. Agree the color is different. Not liking the dark longer root though. I'm too old to like roots showing, lol You wear it well gurl :-)

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: So pretty Taz. This one would look great on my sis.

Miss Pethamhouse: Great style....too bad about the colour....hope it’s just a one-off with this shaded biscuit. Love your gorgeous jacket! Is that from Kohl’s?

PJ Mundy: That is my big gripe. Colors from the same brand fluctuate. I have noticed this for a long time and it is frustrating.

AJ Row: Love, love, love! Thanks Taz❤️

romantic horror: Maybe the silicone used on it was discolored. Might come out with a good shampooing. Style looks cute though.

Sandra G. McAlister: Personally i think they got the color wrong, because that doesn't look like a Shaded Biscuit shade, but it's a really cute wig! Thanks Taz, have a great day!!

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: I hope you review the other new pieces too. I like this one you a lot but the root does look like a longer root and darker. Thanks for reviewing it.

Pamela Prescott: Hi Taz I finally got around to watching the video it's late at night couldn't sleep. I love the style but the roots are just too much and too dark .Can't wait to see the biscuit when you get it, I bet that's going to be gorgeous. Well getting ready to try to go to sleep hope you had a good night and have a wonderful day. Hugs GF

PJ Mundy: I love it!

cgsassy1: I purchased Flirting with Fashion from Wig Studio 1 about a two weeks ago. The top has some hairs that stick up and are impossible to lay down. I tried using a curling iron, but that didn't help either. What can you do with them? I'm trying to get some lift on the top since it seems to all lay flat and forward. Any suggestions on how you can correct this? The sides and back are very cute and perfect if I could just get a little lift on the top and tame the sticky up hairs!

Brenda Gregory Yuen: Cute Taz! What are they doing to our Shaded Biscuit color? I hope this is an exception and not a theme of future RW wig colors...Thank you so much! Happy September.

gina: It looked completely different outside Taz, more ashy. Anyway I'd just like to also add that you are totally my soul sister! I love the looks that you do! I won't get into reason here but trust me when I say you have me for life as your subscriber! You're my girl!!

Suzanne Dawson: Whoa! Wait! What's up with changing the color? Now I’m not sure which one to get

Phyllis Niese: Love this wig but does anyone know how to get the many flyaways to lay down. Have this problem with all heat friendly wigs.

jc6594: Happy 80th Birthday Raquel Welch <3

victoria lantini: Hi Taz, I noticed it does not have extended nape, Does it tend to rise up? You look fabulous in it.xo

Sherry Cooksley: Love this...disappointing it doesn’t come in large.

Ελένη Καζανη: Dear Taz, would recommend Real Deal or Flirting with fashion for every day use by a firefighter?

Jill Lynn Beauty Therapy: It looks EXACTLY like Toni Brattin's Trendsetter.

lil poohbear: May I ask what is the color of the brown lip liner/color you are wearing? I remember you had mentioned it before but cannot remember which vid its in...thanks Taz

swineinny1: Wow, that rooting is a sharp contrast. It’s nice, but do you ever do anything that doesn’t have sharp rooting going on?

Lisa Bulmer: I like this one!

Kristen -K Shaffer: Hi Taz! Very pretty wig! You are right that the colors don't match. Hmmmmmm....

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love her! Your 'green' mannequin head looks like StarTrek......

Good Vibrations: You could make a mop look pretty. But seriously it looks great

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: LABOR DAY SALE at WigStudio1.com! Get 30% OFF RAQUEL WELCH with promo code CELEBRATE30 from 9/5/20-9/7/20! XOXO TAZ

London Jean Semberg: I don’t understand why brands does this with the different lace front applications from one wig to another... why not stick with one type (the extended one) and go with that on every piece so that you always get what you expect from that particular brand...? Especially since this has a full mono (and a very full price point ), the absence of an extended lace makes no sense. I don’t get it... Lovely review as always though! ❤️

Janet Lee: Tax; what is perma tease? Do all wigs have that? Is that why the all look so “full” and bulky
