Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wig closet at wig studio, one. I have another beautiful long, curly style to show you by belle tress. This is called counter culture in the color rocco margarita blonde, there's so much to know about this lovely style coming up. I purchased this style with my own funds. You can find it at wik studio one go below the video expand. The description box you'll find a link where you can check out more features of this style and pricing and don't forget, there's always thirty percent off belletress items at wig studio, one. It'S an automatic coupon code applied at checkout, also check out the private facebook group wig studio, one wig and topper support group. I think they're between 12 and 15 000 members now um all a just beautifully moderated private group, where, ladies, are helping each other find and style their wigs and toppers counter culture is a long lush, curly style. It joins the cafe collection by belletress, and recently they have come out with quite a few of these longer curly styles. I am really loving it. There is something for everyone in that belletress line now, and especially if you love those long curly styles, there's actually three of them that were released. That look very similar in photos yet can be very different when you have them in person. So thinking about camellia and then review, i reviewed shaker, auto and then now counter culture. So we're going to explore these one by one and then hopefully i'll be able to get to a a comparison compilation, video for you as well. So let's talk about counter culture. It as it appears here in the roca, margarita blonde, so with broken margarita blonde you're, going to see um a combination of some silver blondes, some ash blondes, there's some what they call coconut blonde in there there's a lot of layering of blondes and it does have A little bit of a cast of silver, but it doesn't read gray, it doesn't pull gray, especially in outdoor light. You can just see all the beautiful blondes coming together now for my favorite part about this color, and that is the rooting. It'S absolutely perfect. This rooting is a two-tone combination of some medium and some light ash browns. Now the light ash brown really does appear to be blonde uh on the applications that i have seen. It'S a very light ash root. Nearly i would call it a dark blonde, but you will see a little bit of two-tone process going on there. I think that looks super natural. I wish they would take this route and put it on all of their light. Blondes, honestly, it is fantastic. Just take a look here, um, what i love about. It is obviously that it's ash and tone uh that it's not stark. It'S not abrupt! It'S not in your face. It just gives a nice uh soft effect throughout this color. Okay, so we've determined that roca, margarita blonde is quickly becoming very popular for me personally, i think that if you love a light ash blonde or light ash platinum or even a light silver blonde, color you're going to love roca, mark margarita blonde by belletress. So, moving on to counter culture, now this style is out of the box. I gave it a shake, but i did not comb it. The only thing i did was i swirled around on the top a bit, because we all know when these wigs come right. Out of the box, they're very stiff and compartmentalized, and that's on purpose, you know that's what a new wig is all about: it's right out of the factory, it's packaged just so so that doesn't move around a lot during shipping. So when you get it, you're gon na have to wake it up um. So i just basically swirled around on the top. There was a bit of a contour at the front, but it wasn't too drastic. I just used my finger maneuver here to gently pull it away from the face and it came to life beautifully. I still have not done anything to these curls because i want to do that in front of your eyes. Some people will really love the uh. The definition and the separation of these curls and others might like a more uh, looser look so right in the front you're. Looking at 12 to 16 inch layers now they're a bit curly here, but i can definitely see where that first layer is around 12 inches. Then there may be a 16 here on the sides and then overall this is a 23 inch wig. I consider that to be ultra long, it's the longest. It is. It is the longest wig style that i have worked with. So this is a little heavier of a style, it's six and a half ounces. I would expect that on a long, lush style like this, though - and it feels very light on the head, because each one of these fibers is very fine, soft and silky. This is the belletress's ultra luxurious heat, friendly fiber. All of the cafe collection are made from this fiber and counterculture does feature a lace, front, left, monofilament side part unit, and this particular side part is done similar to the shakerato, where it's pulled way to the left-hand side. Okay, so, rather than being just slightly left of center, they've moved it more to the left, so you can get these sweeping looks in the front. It gives a little bit of interest in asymmetry and a lot of options, so it to me it really doesn't matter whether it's more closer to the center or off to the left a little bit more. But if you are the type that you really love that wide part look, this is really going to deliver for you. You can still get about an inch to an inch and a half out of that parting space. So there is still some flexibility. Then we have open wefted sides and back let's get up close on this lace front. This is one of my favorite features in this color and here's why the uh, the lace feature is very fine, a nice fine grid there, and then they do bring that highlight. Color right up to that lace, front and a little bit of a banding effect, but it is pretty gentle. It'S not a thick banding effect here, but it just gives a really soft natural look. Doesn'T it i love how they have spliced in this fiber here around the lace front, all of the seams are obscured, just looks really really natural. Then you've got your left, mono filament part that does run all the way back to the crown. Now. One thing you want to remember is that also is just because it has a left monofilament part. You can still take the hair in the front and sweep it off to the other side, so essentially changing your part to more of a right hand, part while still leaving the the main part going back to the crown at the left and i'll try to demonstrate Some of that for you in the styling okay. So let's talk about the unique curl pattern on this style. So, unlike a lot of the belletress styles that are kind of a shattered spiral and they're really texturized on the ends, this one is more bluntly cut. The curls are more uh, more compartmentalized, more defined they're a little bit deconstructed, which just gives it a nice tousled. Look the curls move beautifully, they're rather bouncy. I think it moves very naturally. I think this is just dream. Absolute dream, hair really is, and i think i would start out with just a gentle pulling motion if you wanted to loosen them a bit, and i would start probably at the bottom glides through this comb, just glides through beautifully no catches or snags. This fiber is exquisite, and i know that it is a heat friendly style. It'S going to take a little bit more maintenance. I would suggest that to keep it looking it's best that you do work on detangling it um every time you wear it just a little bit of like simply styling, silk, silicone spray or some other kind of moisturizing spray just to detangle gently, especially the areas that Drag the clothing now this is a beautiful style for updos and ponies, and i think that updos and ponies are going to be a beautiful way to extend the life of this style, just because it'll keep the hair off of the areas of friction. So, just continuing with our little bit of a separation experiment. Here i like to just pick and fluff too, i don't like to break down through, and i don't even like to fully rake on these. I just like to pick and fluff i like to lift up every single layer bring the air in fully separate them. It'S going to fluff out these curls a bit just gentle gentle, if you feel a tug or a pull, stop start over that way. You'Re sure! Not to pull them too tight, we all know what happens to fiber when you pull it too tight or there's too much tension or resistance, it will lose its body and it will become less elastic. It will freeze out look how beautifully that fluffs out wow gorgeous. So this one here is more intact and then on this side, fluffed out slightly. What i'm really impressed with here is that it fluffs out without looking brushed out, so you still can retain some definition. Now, if you took a brush to this, i imagine you could get a brushed out look. I think it would still have a lot of body left in it, though you're not going to brush out this style, and this is something that i think you're going to get back very easily. So let's say you like a little bit of a brushed out. Look. I think you would just have to squirt it with water kind of scrunch it in and allow it to dry, and you would get back some of that definition. I really like um. I really like the fact that a heat, friendly style is a little bit more conducive to customization, and i really think we all have that question. You know why are a lot of these companies going with the heat friendly fiber? First of all, it feels amazing. It has that ultra luxurious feel to it. Secondly, it gives us the ability to do to do some customization on it um a little or a lot whatever your taste is, but i find that these fibers are super responsive to mild forms of heat. Like the heat from my hand, you can just rub: create a little bit of friction and heat create some contour. You could also just use the heat of your hand to loosen the curl pattern, loosen and lengthen the curl pattern. So there's a lot you can do and you don't always have to use a heat appliance with a heat friendly style. So again, this is a nice lush density. It doesn't feel over thick though, and there is very little permatease just about no palpable permatease. There might be a little bit in the back, but basically none on the top you're used to that normal belletress, permatease kind of a feel and look - and this one is very similar to the others. But again, just to kind of reassure you on the heat friendly fiber. If you plan to wear this and updos um to limit the friction, if you can rotate your wigs, if you can detangle after each use, make sure that the fibers stay moisturized. If you can limit washing these are all things you can do to manage the longevity of your style. You really have to take care of them. Okay, i'll, do a spin and a walk for you. I do have an outdoor look as well, and the outdoor look was before. Obviously before i separated some of those curls. Here'S an inside look at the cap for beltress's counter culture, a temple to temple, lace front. It does not extend back into the ear tab, although the seams are nicely obscured and then there's the left monofilament side part. Then you have a felted ear tab with lots of fiber spliced in a comfortable felted, extended nape with bra strap type adjusters lots of wefting on this style, you'll notice. I had to pull in these adjusters quite far to accommodate a petite average circumference, my reader glasses, fit beautifully between the ear and the ear tab on this style very comfortably and securely. Most belletress styles are very friendly for your glasses. In fact, i haven't met one. Yet that wasn't so, you all know how much i love my reader glasses and switching them up now. These are called the pegasus it's clear, with a little bit of holographic detail as well as some rhinestones going on there. They always have the cutest designs at readers.com and then don't forget. There is a promo code taz35. It will get you 35 off of any pair of reader glasses or your entire order. Actually they have the largest selection of online reader glasses and i just love shopping. I can find so many things i have so many pairs of these um. They have different powers, you know magnification strengths and so forth. The lenses are fully magnified. I just love my readers.com glasses, i'm literally addicted to changing those styles. One of my favorite accessories is the square bands, a hinged hair band, with little rubberized teeth, beautiful gentle functional there's a lot of different ways. You can wear square bands. I love them because they're very gentle on the wigs. They prop up the hair and they hold securely so many different styling options that you would have this kind of reminds me of the true counterculture days right, long kind of hippie hair with a little headband on or hair band. But my favorite way to wear them on long or short hair is to come in from the front to expose a beautifully done lace front. So i just come in from the front, pull all the hair back and then i pull out pieces here and there to give me the most flattering, look and the most natural look. These are an absolute must for your wig wardrobe. That looks really nice and natural. Doesn'T it now that i'm looking at this? I think this would make amazing wedding hair. This is the kind of wedding hair that i think we all would dream of right. Okay, so while we still have in the square bands, i'm gon na go ahead and put up a pony now with the diameter of this, it's about medium to thick in terms of a pony so you're going to want a larger clip. My favorite clips are the pressure clips when you use pressure and they just snap into place. I believe it props up the hair. It gives a really cute profile to the ponytail, rather than just shove it down against the body. You

Suzanne Dawson: I'm so impressed with Belle tress lately. This is absolutely gorgeous! I love that easy blending off he roots. How is it they are starting to create what we want??? La de da....Now, if only ROP would make their melted plum color in more styles and with the white highlights closer around the face. It would be SO PERFECT!

Lauren S. Levine: Hi Taz! Can't wait until you do your comparison videos for these longer Belle Tress blonde wigs! I am really desirous of SHAKERATO, ALLEGRO, COUNTER CULTURE, ETC. I also love CAMELIA AND BOHEMIA..The thing is I can't wear anything too heavy...Which do you think is most wearable, most versatile? Thanks, Kind Regards,

Wyzer Now: Beautiful. I almost bought this one, but I have so many similar Belle Tress styles. I’ve been buying this color ever since it debuted.

Lori Crooks: Perfection❤ as always! Love your reviews!

Sharlene Tull: I am so excited that you did this video! I have been going to buy Shakerato in this shade or the butterbeer blonde after you reviewed that one but I wanted a root more like this and now I know this is for sure the color in Shakerato!! I don’t have any Belle Tress yet.

Shelly F: Hi Taz. Thanks for this video. I liked this wig much better after you combed it out. It was very stringy looking right out of the box, and I really do not like the stringy look. I wish manufacturers would stop making wigs so thin at the bottom. Loved your styling segment. Also, what wig style and color is letter P? Thanks again! Virtual hugs, Shelly

Vicky Myers: Beautiful color

JJ Renae: Gorgeous! And that red top your wearing is super cute too. Can you share where you got it? It really looks beautiful against that rock margarita!

Miss Ashlin: I just got this same wig/same color. I have succeeded in fluffing the bottom, but trouble keeping the top fluffed up. I also went to look for pressure hair clip and didn't know if a regular longer one (metal clip part about 3-3.25 inches long. I'm fairly short so it's pretty long, but the color is beautiful! I'm going to order some sqhairbands, too..

Patty Carosi: Hi Taz I ordered this in cream soda blonde it was to blonde for my olive tan skin so I am waiting to get this in Brown sugar sweet cream I hope soon. It is so beautiful on you. Have a great day Taz.

Shenna Hull: Gorgeous! A must have! Thank you and Have a Beautiful Blessed Day!

Sallie Ryder: This looks FABULOUS on you! The color is stunning! I would love to order this in a red but have been disappointed lately. Every red piece I order has been on back order. Taz could you Please let me know the name of the red piece behind you letter P. Thank you Lovely. ❤️❤️

Kellene Sampson: I love seeing you have so much fun. It makes me smile. Hard to decide between Counter Culture and Shakerato.

Angela Burns: I just ordered this for my daughters wedding in champagne with apple pie. Can’t wait to see what it looks like.

JJ HAWK: I am so new to this. I have been thinking of getting a wig for travel for the longest time. That’s what brought me here. I have been watching wig videos till my brain hurts. There are so many!! During the pandemic, I stopped dyeing my hair and it is now naturally the color of this wig and falls to my bra strap!! I am stopped by women constantly now and asked where I’m getting my color. So I feel very fortunate. (Also, I am faithfully using shampoo for silver, platinum, blonde hair! Highly recommend!) This wig is what my hair looks like when I take the 2 hours it takes to fix it or, and especially, when I have my hair stylist do it. That is why I want a wig that looks just like my hair! This is amazing! I am so excited and can’t wait to get it and see if this is the one! And, it looks perfect on you as is!! Nothing needed to be done!! My gosh!!

Lana Leah: You look absolutely STUNNING!

dizzyk54: ‍ Love your videos!!! Thanks! Vicki

Teri Mobley: Hey Taz, do you ever post the styles & colors of the wigs in the background? I'm liking K and S. Thank you :-)

Sharon Brown: Gorgeous.

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Taz! Talk about luscious,.luxurious hair !! I absolutely love her, especially on you! Love and blessings ❤

Lindsey Marsh: TAZ!!! I hope one day I will know your middle name, but for now, I am going to use my middle name: TAZ Celeste!!! You cannot keep strutting out with the exquisite model walkway that you have mastered, and show me these gorgeous hair styles! You know, I have to have everything that you have—well, the best of the best ones! This one in the video is absolutely stunning, and I now know how to differentiate between your own beauty making some look good and then the ones who are meant to be mine!!!! I have had trash more than I ever thought I would—with a pain in my gut! With so much sincere love that is unique only to you, my beautiful, TAZ! Your Lindsey Bug ♥️

swineinny1: These wig stylists have gotta be looking to the past for inspiration! You look exactly like my aunt when she was working a hippie chick look in 1975! Looks cute tho.

Cheryl Kitchen: looking forward to the comparison video, thanks

Mary Summers: Gorgeous..I of the beautiful I've ever see. I heard you say on another video about a wig you reviewed sold out and you know it didn't sell out because of you. That may be but I personally go straight to you to see it. And to see it on you help me decide. Sometimes I look at a wig and think what would you look like in it. Well you are beautiful but, I think it is you show how it looks like with just by finger styling. So, I started going to your links to wigs studio 1 and to my delight you are pictured in several. Because, when I first look wigs up you see the wig and the model and I think no that won't do, but I scrolled down and there you are. The wig looks come beautiful. And there are some beautiful ladies modeling them also. But, I think it's because I like waves and volume and you take just I few seconds with it and wow. I have learned a lot from you about wigs and the devastating feeling it causes for a woman to loose her hair . It is so good to hear you address the problem and even switch up your wigs for a new look , that is hard for me because I feel like every one knows it's a wig. Until, I found and started your videos. I have to give the credit for it all. I wanted toppers have 4 they will not stay on no matter what I do. But wigs gave me migraines and I couldn't make them stay on. But, with watching you and some young beautiful dark haired at studio 1. I'm starting were the wigs without headaches, I'm a petite circumference as I think you and she are also. But. I'm my own worst credic. I know when something doesn't look right on me. And my daughter-in-law would be quick to tell if something doesn't look good but I thought it did and she didn't tell me. Let me just say Family Feud...lol Thank you Taz, for all your advice and information.

AJ Row: Wow Taz, what a dynamic color!

Jennifer Wills: Taz, I am going to purchase a medium sized curly wig. Which one do you like the best right now if you had to pick 1?

April and Bella: Taz, why wish list is long babe i love all your help! i cannot get enough of your styling ohhh lalala

Coast Daze: Someone should send this style to Dolly Parton. She would rock this one and it's more natural looking than the styles she wears, imo. It's lovely on you, the color is a little too gray for my tastes. You + this style + butterbeer blonde would be great on you!

Cheryl Kitchen: I can't decide. I think I'm ready to order, then I second guess between Counter Culture and Shakaratu and then I second guess my color choice. I've been wearing Champagne with Apple Pie. I think I'd like the Bombshell Blond thinking it might be a little brighter, but then I see this color......Tell me what to do, LOL I like your favorite BBB, but I want a lighter root. Lighter root with brightness in the length of BBB?

Diane dee: Hey Taz, one more question...if Hollywood or Harper could grow as long as Counter Culture or Shakearato, which one would it be ? Thank you ! Xoxo

Nancy Gilbertson: Wow! Looks fantastic! What would happen if I cut some bangs with this? I have a really high forehead and have always worn bangs.

Faith Vogel: This is a tough color to wear. I think this wig would be far more beautiful in a more natural, warmer, shade. You are always beautiful, Taz, but much moreso with the blondes that have more life/color to them. And realism. But I see I am not in the majority, after reading other remarks. I have bought a few cooler toned wigs and they seem so exciting until I see myself in pictures wearing them. I guess I'm not a fan of the overly cool tones, as they resemble gray hair and I'm not wanting that look quite yet, lol!

Noreen Freeman: If you cut off six in. Would you loose the curl ?

Teresa V: Do you have any wigs you'd consider selling? I'm in need of a front lace light colored one. Something light and thin haired.or preferably front laced topper.

Terrie Severson: If you ever have the time ( yah, right) would you give me your recommendation on a few semi long( 13-18 in.) loosely curled, lace front with mono top ( not necessary but would prefer) wigs that I can always wear up in a bun or a soft French twist( much too old to ever wear it down). I’ve stayed away from some companies because of my petite /average size. I really like the RW High Octane, but too much hair and too long for me, but similar to what I’m searching for. Loved the review , as it is such a big help.❣️❗️

Barbie Sheffield: Hey Taz, if you have a minute, what's on J and F? Thank you shugga! xoxoxo

margo81172: What is J down there? I do love this curly piece on you!

Pam Frank: Very becoming on you...beautiful

GetReady4LiftOff: Wig can make ya look young, older, pretty, fabulous but ya gotta take it off

Suzanne Dawson: This color looks grey to me. Or even a little lavender. Is it the video lights?

Mike and Mom: Wow that is TEXAS hair!

JJ HAWK: Ok, so again I am new to this. I don’t need to buy a cap for this wig? It has a built in cap...right? :) help? I am sooo new to this. I watch the videos of the wigs not so much the how to’s, yet...

Lo Presti: Color looks greyish. Not my cuppa tea. nice style tho.

Jackie Ireland: Is this the same density as pure honey, does belle tress have any curly like this with less density
