Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wing closet at wig studio, one i'm introducing a style by renee of paris. Today, it's been around a little while this is lane by rene paris and i'm going to show it to you as a part of my affordable series. Lane has gained some new color options lately i think it's a really nice value, so we're gon na break it down coming up. I purchased this style with my own funds from wig studio, one be sure to expand the description box below the video you'll find a link where you can go out and check out the details and pricing there's also a promo code for 30 off this style and All other renee of paris styles, if you have any question for us, you can email support. Wigstudio1.Com lane. Is that medium to long length, straight layered style? It'S shown here in the color creamy toffee r, and i have debated for many years whether to purchase this style and check it out. I thought the price was absolutely right. I think before any coupons or discounts are applied on this style um, it's 118 before any coupons, now remember at wig studio one. There is a coupon code for 30 off, so that's gon na bring it well below a hundred dollars, but the main reason why i kind of passed on it. Each time was because i have seen other reviews on this, and it just appeared to be very wiggy to me, because a lot of those colors expose the permatease on the top there's a thick permatease layer on the top to keep the style and the shape going. But at the same time you want to be able to reasonably disguise that, if you like so now about a year ago, they introduced some rooted shades. I have, i think they have three or four rooted options. They have a huge color palette on this style, but now some rooted colors. So what we're looking at here is the creamy toffee r and based on the description, it says that that creamy toffee r is more of a medium to dark, honey blonde and then there's some platinum in there like a 50 50 blend of honey and platinum. I think that is right. I have seen some applications of this color that just remind me of some gold tones, some layered gold tones some medium to dark and then your light very pale gold. Now, in this case, i do think that it does run a little bit warm, even though that platinum is kind of taking down that warmth in the honey it's more neutral but might be leaning warm and all of that is on a medium brown root. So, let's back up on this style now, isn't it a beautiful shape? Oh, it's just adorable, it's very easy to wear. It'S just a machine made cap and what i think makes this so doggone flattering is that first layer here, which is about nine inches and that kind of just feathers back into the style wherever you decide to part it so that nine inch layer is probably going To stretch at or below your chin, it just makes a beautiful face framing effect, it's a very feminine style. The fibers feel divine they're, very soft, very feathery fine light and dry to the touch. Yet it has a beautiful sheen to it. Just a nice, healthy, sheen, rene of paris noriko makes some really nice fibers, and this one is especially beautiful on this style. As you can see, it has a wispy kind of feathery movement to it separate you bring air into those layers and it just kind of separates. Now i have not worn this for any length of time. I would imagine that if this reacts and performs similar to let's say the noriko jackson style, which is kind of a shorter version of this more on the shag level, it kind of gets stringy throughout the day. So you're going to probably have to comb through that. Quite a bit now talking permatease, there is a mound of permatease on this style. You want it um. If you have experienced styles, like maybe angelica the the standard - kappa angelica from noriko, it's kind of along those lines, you're going to find a lot of permatease on the top, so you're going to see where it kind of starts here from the tip of the cap. Here and all the way back through the crown ending and just a little bit of a bump it, there gives it a nice sweet, feminine kaketish profile, but it's very otherwise very limited, so you're going to have limited permatease here at the ear tab. There'S some at the back and very very little at the nape, so in all the other areas, i think it's very reasonable. I think it's strategic to have it. Give you a nice high profile. This has instant glamour anytime, you get a style, that's kind of high. On top that you can get some volume and expect it to last. All day is just gosh. You know with your bio hair. You'D have to tease all day, long and probably several times throughout the day, to keep this kind of a look. So it is very glamorous. Looking right out of the box, permatease will settle some, that's just how permatease is, but i think this is well done and i'm just a fan of volume on top, so you have to be a fan of that volume uh in order to really really embrace and Love the style, i would say this style probably weighs between four and five ounces - very typical. The standard cap longer style like this, it's not too thick of a density, so it doesn't feel too hot and heavy um on my head. So one thing you want to know is: if that nine inch layer is just not working for you, you could put in a bang, you could put in a straight across bang. It would look amazing, you could take the fringe up to more of you know four or five inch, so it strikes you somewhere around the cheekbone, because these layers are still going to come in and and frame the face, no matter how short you make your uh, Your fringe, it has a nice little profile coming off of the wig cap there, so you're going to get a built-in little coil towards the face. I think a bang would be super flattering on this style and you know at this price point you could probably afford to really hone your skills and trimming your bangs, but in case you're not confident. Please take it to your stylist. Here'S an inside look at the cap for rene of paris's lane. There'S that closed rose, lace top hiding all the permatease, then you do have a velvet piece there at the front for comfort and then a nice brush of fiber like a hidden weft there at the front hairline there's a lot of fiber spliced into that closed ear. Tab a standard velvet, nape and bra strap type, adjusters, there's a lot of wefting on this style and i feel like it's average right out of the box and i could easily accommodate a petite average circumference. Despite the fact that there's a nice dark root to obscure that permatease, you may still want to work on the top just to make it look a little more natural, so how some of the ways that i do that is, i just take a wide tooth comb. I like this one because the teeth are really narrow and i can really get down into the bottom of that permatease layer. So i'm going to place the comb at the base of the cap and move it in across that part and then what i'm going to do is just gently lift. Now that's going to spring that part a little bit it's going to bring up the volume. Just a tad, but that will settle back. What i'm aiming to do here is to spring up the fiber out of the permatease layer, so that there's less of a chance you can see down in okay, so you're going to want to spring that part, and then the other thing you might consider doing is Just crisscrossing it making it look a little bit dirty and messy, not too straight and perfect, because this is a standard cap. You can sort of part it wherever you like, but there's just a mound of options that you would have to obscure that permatease beautiful. That fiber is there's the permatease layer there. So, however, you want to part it. Permatease does not bother me. Most people are taller than me, they're probably going to be able to see down in, but you know, i'm not the type to care. I enjoy my wigs. The the fiber is beautiful, the style is flattering so if there's a little permatease, that's peeking out at the part, oh well, there are so many, ladies, that are wearing extensions and different kind of hair pieces too, that you know people just are expecting it these days, You know they don't really bat an eyelash at the fact where you've got a little part that looks a little nasty heck. How do they know that you just didn't: go in there and tease the heck out of your roots, so that's just a way that you might be able to obscure the permatease a little bit. So i'm going to go right into my styling segment for laying i think it's going to be adorable with all this volume and length just to work on it a little bit and show you how the fibers move and react. I hope you have a wonderful day, we'll see you next time on taz's wig closet at wig studio, one, you

Melissa Turner: I LOVE your " I don't care what people think" attitude! Your positive vibe is contagious! Thank you for making the "wig" thing ok :)

Krista L: Love the volume you can get with Laine! Of course, she looks gorgeous on you! Happy New Year!

Sally Garten: Tax I do appreciate your reviews as you are so knowledgeable about all wigs!!! You have such a kind loving heart and personality!! I really reliyin whatever you say and you are so humble about your in depth reviews!! I thank you for all of your hard work and always come back to your comments on wigs and products as I trust your knowledge you so willingly share!! Many Blessings to you and your family.

Valli S: Oh yeah, this is cute!! Noriko/Rene of Paris are my favorite brands for all the right reasons. Love the fiber, the cute styles, colors, durability and price point. Thank you, Taz. You are so cute in this one.

Mint: Hi Taz, you look so great in this! I enjoyed the tips on permatease. I like a bit or even quite a bit of permatease cause I like the lift. ❤️ xo Sharon

Jennifer Steele: OMG!!!! I just purchased this piece a week ago and am waiting to recieve it. I was kinda on the fence about it because there weren’t a lot of reviews on it., but I went ahead and bought it with crossed fingers and a hopeful heart because it wasn’t all that expensive. I am so glad that you posted this video because all of the things that I was concerned about (permatease and a fake wiggy look) you addressed and I now know what to expect and what to do to make it work for me. Thank you for this review!!!! I can’t wait to get it and work with it using the tips you gave. By the way-it looks awesome on you!!!! Thanks again for the review and tips!!!!

Connie Steve: Beautiful!! I love creamy toffee R!! Love the style!! Never seen that wig before ! Thanks for keeping us up to date and thanks for all you do❣❣

SampleMM: Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! I’ve been watching your videos for a few months and was waiting to find something similar to my hairstyle before I had it all cut off and this is it!! I can only hope that I look half as nice as you do in this. You look great in every wig! Thanks again!!

Marlene's Wig & Chat Studio: Love it, Taz! What an adorable style! Definitely a great price point for a beautiful and fun piece! XOXO Mar

Lisa Wawrzynski: Hi Taz! Fantastic tip and technique "springing the part." This will help all of us who didn't know how to work with a "fuzzy" part and make it natural looking :-D. xoxo Lisa

Patty Carosi: Taz I really think this one is so cute! I love how you can style them so many ways. You look beautiful Taz as always. I look forward to more reviews in 2021. Have a blessed week my sweet friend. ❤

Domestic Goddess: Hey Taz, another great review . I’ve been watching your videos for years now, and have learned a lot. Thank you❣️ I’ve always had very thin hair, and, in my late 50th, I’ve lost half of what I had. I’ve watched sooooo many of your videos, but when you mention “permatease’, it’s a cut of point for me. My concern is that any wig with permatease would be “too big’ for me, too poofy, and not realistic looking. Could you please, make a video for us ladies, who are looking for just the wigs that are low density and have no permatease. Thanks in advance

Carol ReMarks: I just bought this one snagged it on clearance! Mochaccino. Hard to find a review on that color. I LOVE your videos. Thank you for doing these. I know it’s a ton of work. You are such a professional. Very well put together. I used to be a permatease hater when I was new to wigs. I wasn’t used to all of that hair. But now I LOVE it!!

Half Rutter: Thanks for showing how to deal with permatease! I have a Noriko wig that I love except for the obvious permatease, so I stopped wearing it. Now I know what to do! You’re the best, Taz!

Full Face & Fabulous: Wow!!! This is a gorgeous wow piece and the fibers are beautiful!!! I love this price point, I immediately went to WigStudio1 and ordered this!! I, too never picked up this style because it seemed wiggy and like you mentioned the permatease would show but I am so happy to see this in rooted colors. Amazing value, I cannot wait to see this one!!! Hugs and Blessings!!

Gloria Lagroon: Hi Taz love how Laine looks on you. I like big hair so really like this one. Very affordable too! Thank you for the tips as well.

Brenda Gregory Yuen: Very cute Taz! I have ordered another ROP in this color and I am glad to see it has a lot of platinum in it. This looks very affordable.

Charleston SC Native: Loved the tips on utilizing the wig's features to their best advantage. Thanks for this review!

Misty Rosemarie: I ordered this wig in the creamy toffee R and Dakota (ice blonde) today! These are my first 2 wigs. I’ve never worn a wig before, but with age my own hair is so thin! I’m excited to get them and try them out!

Anthony's Wig Spot: I’m enjoying this affordable series you’ve been doing so informative and important. One thing I wanted to mention is more experienced wig wearers can also steam the permatease down slightly to help hide some of the little hairs that stick up l have never had to do it but I’ve seen people that have and they stand by it 100% so thought I’d mention it. xoxox ❤️

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: This is so pretty... I wish I could pull long hair off but wow for someone into longer hair this is such a nice piece and so affordable. Hugs!

Susan Peterson: This is my favorite wig. I own over 20 of this particular one. I'm glad I bought a couple in Auburn Sugar R because that color was discontinued :( In fact, I wore that color to China a little over a year ago!

Coast Daze: Update on my Laine...I got it, cut bangs and you were correct, it's super cute with bangs! Love this one. And I've gotten really good at "springing that permatease and obscuring it. Thx Taz. I'm not bothered by it either, in proper proportions.

Coast Daze: I love this Laine! Jackson is cute but for me, it's a bit too shaggy with too much thinness at the bottom. Laine is just perfect! And with a few fringe bangs, it'll be a knockout, imo. Problem with you reviewing wigs, Taz, is that much of the time I'm looking at your beautiful face! LOL Seriously you are a perfect wig model.

Karyn Bronson: Hi TAZ, wow, can I just say this style is sexy with all the volume and easy styling options? Uh huh! Here's another one goin into my cart. Thanks again, sweetie! ❤

Sharlene Tull: Taz you look gorgeous in this! You are just a gorgeous lady! And so sweet!! This made me want it again! I wanted it years ago but I decided not to because of the permatease! And that’s why I never wore my Angelica even though I loved it but didn’t know how to disguise the roots, I even tried eyeshadow and I failed at my attempt! I may try this in the rooted color there! So thanks so much!!!!!!! Happy New Year!! Hope this 2021 is a much better year!!!

evelyn cupp: Beautiful color on you & style!!! THANK U 4 bringing us affordable styles!!!! Kudos!!!

MoodyGirl Beauty: Ohhh!! This is lovely!!! Love the layers!!

ButterflyKisses: Omg this is beautiful. It looks like Noriko Jackson but longer I love it!

anita kern: Going to order now. Beautiful style. And looks beautiful on you

Sandra G. McAlister: Love volume on top, i need the lift that i get with permatease. Pretty wig, looks fabulous on you, Taz!! Have a great and safe day!!

Zephyr OnFire: Hi Taz...oh my gosh, this wig reminds me of cozy ski chalets and hot chocolate with the man! Love ALL the blondes on you and the rooted effect, so realistic! You are just stunning as always. Happy New Year, my friend! -Mary

MichelleM: Always watchAlways beautiful as ever..love this wig!..going to buy..price is right..looks stunning on you as all others...❤

Robin Kershen: I know this video is 11 months old, but I just want to say that you look absolutely beautiful in this wig (you look beautiful in everything)! I have all my hair, it's a bit find and I have no patience getting the height and lift because I have a bad shoulder... I was thinking of buying a wig, especially because I'm going to Florida for Christmas and it would be too much work going from the pool then to rush and style my hair... Do you think this wig would be too hot to wear in the evening in Florida? Thank you for all your hard work - you are a gem....

Connect With Your Deck: So pleased to hear I can put a fringe in her - I was wondering about that - ive been practicing and getting mroe and more confident

Paula Sidley: I luv to see how you style your wigs these reviews help us so much thankyou x

Joyce Mayo: OMG, I just looked below my msg and noticed how many people admire your wigs. You should and I hope be making a commission off of these responses, you are selling tons! Thank you for all your help. Joyce ‍♀️

Sandy Ludlow: Hi Taz Happy New Year! Right out of the bat I thought this style is reminiscent of Noriko's Jackson. A huge likeness. I like this one alot. Tx for the information. Stay safe xx Sandy

Kaye Carter Mature Woman Daily Dose: Always beautiful! Sending Hugs, Prayers and Kindness❣️

Robin's Wig Party: Calling my name! Thank you for doing a review. I think you should do another video on your closet/bathroom. Your clothes are just too cute

Debbie Freeman: Love this one I am tossing up between this one and jackson! Thanks Taz xx

ChooseHappy Mc: Oh sooooo pretty! I love permatease. Super sexy. Honestly no one looks that close at your hair to see any permatease. I love the golden, warmer blonde. Yikes, I might have another wig, I NEED to get. ;)

Lainey: Great review ...i have Laine in this colour a brilliant wig it lasted a very long time. Worth every penny

Michele KT: I might consider it in the Creamy Toffee R. I don't mind permatease either. I've found when out in public, no one really ever looks that closely.

Karyn Bronson: I also wanted to add I purchased a hoodie recently. While walking around my town people commented on the cute phrase. I said, Oh yea, I needed some fresh hair! So much fun! ❤

Jennifer S: So cute on you! I just about fell over when you put that pink hat on at the end!! Looks adorable!!!

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love the coloring. Gives a bit of a 70's shag vibe

Mysta Chambers: Super cute style at affordable price...love it. Kinda of reminds me of Jennifer Aniston hair style. ❤

Lisa LePage Lewis: Taz gives the best advice. If we all relax more and not worry about it - no one notices or if they do its a non issue. Lets make 2021 a non issue year!

Jackie Marsh: Such a Beautiful One!! Loving The Style and Color!! You Look Gorgeous as Always Sweet Friend!! Thank You For a Perfect Review as Always!! Love and Hugs!! XOXOXO

Candy Chand: You can definitely pull off that longer look. Beautiful.

Peggy Johnson: That piece looks so cut on you. Plus I love those boots you have on.

Who piddled on your post toasties: I'm curious of the comparison of this with Mane Attraction Heartthrob. They both seem quite similar. They both remind me of Jenn Aniston's look at different times. Thanks for another great review ❤

Patti D: Taz I just ordered this wig in this color your wearing.. You show the wigs best and this is my 3rd one this month.. Alva,High Octane and now this one.. I watch others in the same wig and I say nope.. Then I watch you and say YES!!!

Cynthia Marvin: Taz just received mine today! What did you do to keep it from falling in the face?

Paula Sidley: I am ordering the Laine creamy toffee r hope it looks as good on me as it does on you xx

Sharon C: Thank you Taz!!! I love it!

The_Aurora_Borialis 4: I would like to know what wig is on the "J" mannequin? Would be nice if we could get a closer look at this one. BTW just love your reviews!

S Weintraub: Very Cheryl Ladd in Charlie's Angels, right? This shows you don't always need a lace front for a wig to look natural!

Tera Boo: This is my favorite wig of all wigs.

Front Porch Wig Chat: You know, it reminds me of the TressAllure Avery in a longer version. ~Cynthia

Suzanne Dawson: WHAT are those darling little booties you’re wearing???? So cute! Oh yeah and I love the wig too. I gave her a 4 out of five! Worried she might be like Jackson without the lace front but with too much perma-tease. I love the wispy fibers! Nobody’s going to be looking down at your part

Dalgal 4sure: beautiful! do you have a current discount code?

Mitzi Council: I was just watching this again and I LOVE your boots!!! Do you remember the name?

Joyce Mayo: Ha, thank you so much. I have that one because of you, and for some reason it looks better on your mannequin head than mine looks, I find that so funny.

Lainey: Hi, could I ask if I wanted to go a slight shade darker than creamy toffee what would u suggest looking at?

Mandy L: I just got this but SO MUCH PERMATEASE. How do I conceal it more at the part on top? Or don't I? ☹ I know you said it would settle some. I did put in face layers. Lovely.

Christina Urbanek: Every single synthetic mid-length wig I see (which is the only material and length I can use) is made with a left part. Even monofilament wigs which supposedly allow multidirectional parting are made with a left part which is baked in, making change almost impossible because switching the part to where it doesn't naturally want to go leaves a horrible looking lump, or it falls back over to where it wants to go, etc. It's extremely disheartening because left parts absolutely do not work with my face. Why can't manufacturers offer more variety?? Or at least make them more neutral with a more center part? I am losing my hair but feeling hopeless that there are no wigs for me.

ButterflyKisses: The shipping costs $10 if the wig is under $100

Laurie Miller: Hi Taz, I'm showing my age here but you remind me a little of the actress Connie Stevens in this style. Thank you for this review☺️

Shelly F: Hi Taz. I have a larger than average circumference. Would Laine fit ok? Thanks! Shelly

Peggy Johnson: Hi Taz, looking for a wig really close to Lane but without quite so much per a tease. But still a little lift on top as I need that volume. Is there a sister wig with the same beautiful fibers?

LizinMalta: First of all....Wishing a Happy, Healthy and Wealthy New Year to you and yours! X I may have missed this from a previous video but may I ask the reason for the letters on the wig heads? I find myself sitting here making up words with the letters haha! I'm pretty sure that's not what you intended but I am interested to know. xx

Michelle Davidson: Where can I find the pick you use in this video? I have contemplated this wig for a long time, but not a lot of reviews or information on it, but when I saw this video, I knew I had to order it...reminds me of Heather Locklear hair, which I have always wanted but could never get the lift at the top with my own bio hair (when I had long hair). Thanks for all you do Taz!!!

Orzog: Raquel Welch long length and even mid length wigs matt so easily underneath and especially the nape. Do you think this one would? Which ones do you find have the least matting and tangles underneath? Even human hair wigs do this I've found. I tried leaving my own hair down at the back to see if that would prevent it but it didn't.

Lindsey Marsh: I have Laine in Chestnut and in Ice Mocha-R. I had my hairdresser cut side-swept bangs on my Chestnut Laine. How I want to try to not cut bangs on my Ice Mocha-R and soon to be Creamy Toffee-R! I will always really be a blonde. I have to say that I find myself always moving hair out of my face without getting bangs. I have missed you, TAZ. I hope you and yours are doing well! With much love, Lindsey Bug

Dee Roga Tory: Can't pass this one up. Sold!

Linda Smith: Do you think this cap will fit a 22.5" head?

Pippinhill Haviland: You look like a movie star!

Miss Dorothy Maid: Hi Taz are you aware that a website called Beechpear.com are using your videos on Facebook to sell wigs ? Not sure if it’s a scam or not or if they have your permission

Joyce Mayo: Taz, I’m sorry to bother you but what is the wig that is on your shel, bottom right and has the letter F on it? It’s a cute little bob that I love. If you would tell me what’s it’s called I would really appreciate it. Joyce. :-)

ButterflyKisses: I wish they had a cool rooted blonde

Janet Bailey: I am not sure if my other inquiry posted. What is the name and color of Mannequin A? Thank you, you are a beautiful woman.

ButterflyKisses: Do they have Champaign R?

Pamela Prescott: Taz , Laine looks really cute I like her. I was wondering if you don't mind what number F is that you have? She looks like Sadie by tressallure. I have it but was not happy the wefts showed really bad, but I love her otherwise. I've worked on it some sewing the wefts looks a little better. I was just diagnosed with small cell lung cancer so they are going to try to eradicate it and so I will be losing my hair ,glad I had bought a few wigs. but I want to use a shorter one for now. Take care hugs xoxoPammy

Mitzi Council: What is the wig on F behind you please?

Deborah Knapp: Heat friendly????

ButterflyKisses: I wanted something in the middle between Anjelica and Jackson
