coming in the window is creating some haziness around the shirt and corners of the

frame. Colors seem to look BRIGHTER in natural light, so I provided several lighting scenarios.

Hey everybody welcome to tatha suede closet at wig studio, one I'm really excited. Today. I just received my brand-new Raquel Welch crowd, pleaser and one of the colors and the new cool tons collection by Raquel Welch called shaded iced cappuccino, which is RL 1022 ss. Among the most requests for showings of the colors in that Colton's collection, it was this one. We wanted to see how closely it resembles the existing are L 12 22 SS, which is the regular shaded cappuccino. So today, when I'm going to take you through a full comparison of these two colors with lots of different views and lighting scheme, so I'm wearing my crowd-pleaser by Raquel Welch. I think it's particularly beautiful in this style. Don'T you with all of its soft rolling wave lots of volume, and I love how they bring this color up to the lace front in the chunky, a banded manner that they typically do now. This Raquel Welch crowd pleaser is a heat friendly style. So let's go ahead and jump into this color, alright, so the shaded iced cappuccino RL 1022 ss. It'S a light ash brown base, color all over light ash brown and then it's very heavily highlighted then with a light ash blonde and then that one also is on a medium brown root. Again, they've banded the highlights at the front, but then they blended them all over. The all-over appearance is not a deep, vibrant color. It'S a soft, muted cool tone, so we have a powder. It almost has a powdery appearance to it. It'S definitely not shiny at all. Let me go ahead and bring out the shaded cappuccino. So now I'm back wearing rakovict shimmer in the color RL 1222 SSS shaded cappuccino, let's break down shade of cappuccino. This is one of my absolute favorites in that line, so it starts with a light ash brown. Shame and then it has some very pale ash blonde, highlighting it's very chunky around the face and ran up to the lace front. There there's quite a bit of dimension on this color. It does have a medium brown root, but everything is so vibrant, like the colors. Just they're separated they're dynamic they just pop like living color, but Brown is richer. So, even though I noticed that it's a light ash brown, there seems to be a little bit of caramel mousse in there as well, and then the pale ash blonde really sets everything off it. Just like highlights are supposed to do it's supposed to brighten it up and look make it look really dynamic. So here I have back that 1022 ssun crowd-pleaser, so you'll notice. The difference is the 1022 SS. Has that light ash brown base color. It'S very soft powdery kind of a muted Brown now on the 1222 SS, it's more dynamic and rich and vibrant of a color, a base color and then the light ash brown around the face and distributed throughout, and the highlights on that 1022 art is light and Bright as the pale ash blonde, almost platinum of the highlights on the shaded cappuccino so again, very vibrant, alive, very dynamic on the 12:22, more muted cool and soft on the 1022 and the roots about the scene. I guess I was expecting that the 10 base color on the 1022, was going to be a little darker than the 12 on the 1222. But that really isn't the case. I feel like this 12 on the 1222 is a little bit darker a little bit richer in tone than the 10 on the 1022. So now it's time for the side-by-side comparisons and a couple of different lighting scenarios, so you can get a really nice look thanks. Again for joining me today see you next time on toughest weight closet at week, studio one in the following side-by-side comparisons. It becomes even more obvious that the shade of cappuccino - RL 1222 SS, on my simmer, the base color - seems to be a little bit darker. A little richer and more dynamic and also ashy in tone than the base color of the 10/22 SS on the right and ironically, the 10/22 SS, is from the cool tones collection. However, I feel like it might be a tad warmer than the original RL 1222 SS shaded cappuccino.

sdraper2011: So detailed, I love it! Great descriptions and comparisons, especially the outside shots. Thank you so much for this info for us cool blondes! :) Also, your shawl/wrap is very pretty.

Jen: Thanks for the comparison! RL 12/22ss has been my favorite for awhile, now. I like the RL 10/22SS, but I agree that the shaded cappuccino looks to be more of a cool color, and it has more contrast with the highlights, which I like. Great video!

Dr Sandy in AZ: As always, so very helpful!!! I was just wondering about the new cool shade and debating between the RL12 and RL10 so perfect timing! I think the RL12/22SS is the one for me. Thank you so much, Taz! This was a perfect comparison! Love it!!!

Raechelle Bennett: Very nice insight to both colors Taz. I choose Simmer with the lighter highlights even though it has a deeper base. It's gorgeous on you. Loving the white shawl to compliment it. You indeed are a smart dresser and really contribute the best showing of each wig by your clothing choices. Thank you girlfriend. And may I ask which wig is that appearing in the top left of your screen? Love the flowy waves on that as well. Happy January--it's flying by fast! ❄⏳⚘

The Reborn King: Thank you so much for these wig videos. My mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and starts Chemo Monday and they told her she will lose her hair, so I have been watching your videos a lot to find a good wig to get her. You are so knowledgeable about the wigs and have helped a lot, since I’m trying to help my mom feel as close to “normal” as she can during this time. She has never had very thick hair so in a way I think this may be a time she can experiment with various looks, and I think the editor’s pick would be a great first wig for her. I like the shaded cappuccino too. You look so good in every wig and you style them so nice that you give a good idea of who the wig may be intended for! Thanks again and it’s so nice to see you have donated wigs to cancer organizations as well :) Thanks for making a stressful time a bit easier seeing how realistic and nice some of these wigs can be.

Miss Pethamhouse: Thanks so much Taz. Another great comparison! I am so surprised that the 10/22 appears to be warmer. Not sure why RW would go through all the trouble to release these new shades when the end result is a bit disappointing in my opinion. I will stick to the original shaded cappuccino since I love it’s dynamic nature and the lighter banding. Weird since they both have a 22 highlight so you would expect the same brightness ??? Thanks

Patty Carosi: Great explanation of the two shades! They are both beautiful and you really gave us a better understanding of the difference. I love the RL12/22SS. You look beautiful in them both. Love the outfit. Have a great week! ❤

Nani Womack: For me personally I really love the shimmer, color so much more vibrant. Thanks for the comparison. ❤️❤️

Melanie Simpson: Thanks for the comparison Taz!! I agree with you...the original shaded cappuccino looks cooler than the new"cool" shade.

mdc ml: I appreciate your videos so much. I use them as a reference when choosing a color because going by the little color squares on the websites is impossible. You have saved me from making mistakes!

Connie Steve: Pretty!!!! Love them! Wish they had sister wigs that were synthetic!! I wonder if the color is the same on heat friendly & synthetic? Thanks for the awesome review!!

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: Super nice comparison! (I agree the 10/22ss seems warmer) Thank you

Ann Shelton: I so depend on your insight and expertise ... You have such a wonderful genuine ❤️ attitude, thank you for all that you do and the effort that you go to for all of us "out here"it means so much that you show what these hair pieces look like indoors and outdoors... You make them all look so fantastic... You're so wonderful Taz thank you for everything, all your hard work is such a gift

Marion Muolo: Great comparison. Very thorough and informative!

Sandra G. McAlister: Love the comparison videos, great job Taz. Thank you. Have a great day! ❤️

Pippinhill Haviland: You’re nailing these comparison reviews!

Emily Rosenzweig: Thanks for this! I agree the "iced" color does look warmer!

Kimberlin Sprague: Thanks for the comparison I don't like the iced as well as the Shaded and when I first saw the new iced color I thought I want that❤️

MichelleM: They are both so beautiful!..especially in natural light .

Rita: As always an excellent comparison these both wig from the the Raquel Welch collection .

Nervous Energy: Tou are awesome! I love your professional channel. I love your focus on wigs - for white gals!!! Wigs are so underutilized & you sure know how to rock them!!!! Keep it going!!

iamasurvivor2: Very nice wig and color. I am going to order this. Thanks Taz. :-) xo

Jackie Marsh: Loved This Video!! Such a Difference!! The Comparison Reviews Are Really Wonderful!! Who Would've Thought There Would Be Such a Variable Difference!! You Look Stunning In Both Colors and Styles!! Thank You Sooo Much for a Perfect Review as Always Sweet Friend!! Love! XOXOXO!!

7swordMary: Thank you for this comparison. The outdoor natural light segments are most helpful.

Vita Soyka: Hi, Taz! Thank You a lot for your video! All wigs it georgeous on You! I think Simmer is same patern like Maximum Impact (silouette same) just shortest version

Prayer Warrior: Opposite of expected. Bumm most "cool tones" seem warmer HILITES while removing pretty warmth from the BASE. I think they GOOFED Much anticipated comparison. Thanks again Taz.

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love them both- your outdoors sunshine is wonderful. Dark, raining and dreary here in Oregon.

Donna and Joe Cragin: Very helpful as always! xoxo

Cassie Brown: Taz, this is slightly off topic, which wig brand do you find most comfortable to wear? I don't want a wig that is too hot, itchy or feels heavy to wear. I was thinking about a Noriko wig in Reese, but trust your honest opinion before buying. By the way, I love the SIMMER on you. Thanks

Valli S: Well!, what about that? I'd of never guessed they could be so different. Thank you for the comparison.

PJ Mundy: Great video, this really helps!

Florence Carroll: Hi Taz I wish you can show shaded cappuccino on straight up with a twist by Raquel Welch. Thank you

Cynthia: Hi Taz, I just ordered Simmer in shaded cappuccino and its a very different color than the one you are wearing in this video. Its much darker and highlights are different. I am returning. Does this happen often? This was my first wig, so not sure what to expect.

Janean: #10 should be darker. Big variances between wigs within the same manufacturers...including color. Good review, Taz. Wonder if style may be the reason they apply the colors differently? Who knows. lol!

Pamelia M: Thanks! Great comparison.

angela searls: Rl12/22 is the prettiest nice outdoor shots

Brenda Price: I bought this wig RL10/22SS and the color is NOTHING like this! Very disappointed! Mine is very dark with almost no highlighting and certainly not ash nor rooted.

Angie: You are so stinkin' cute! I just think you're gorgeous & so sweet! This is Angie, I've written u before but updated my YouTube account bc someone hacked it, ugh. Anyway tysm for this video bc I was wanting to try a new Raquel Welch style & color & im now going to order Simmer in the 12/22SS. It looks amazing...they all look great on u npbc ur so beautiful. When u told the story of how you came to wear wigs & how your journey began and you said you had grown boys i about fell off the chair! U look so amazing & vibrant. You have such a positive energy about u, it's contagious. Thank you for all you do, I truly appreciate it. God bless you

Kelly Renee’ Adams-Sowdon: You look gorgeous! To the right of you (side with the sign about happy place) may I ask what the top three longer wigs are? Especially the middle one ?

Anna Rebecca: This is so confusing for me. I have Crowd Pleaser in Shaded Cappuccino 12/22SS, and it doesn't look anything like "Simmer". It has a lot of yellow, of which I am not fond. I don't see any yellow in Simmer at all, so I'm wondering if the shade has changed since you filmed this, or if it's just my monitor. I like YOUR version of 12/22SS much better but I'm reluctant to try that shade again because of the yellow tones.

Jaci Fertik: Like the original better 12 22 shaded cappuccino

kk doc: I feel like the numbers are wrong since the base colors look so similar but the “22” which should look the same aren’t close at all. Hmmmmmm. Can you remind me the name of your favorite self tanner? Wanna try a good one. Thanks Taz.

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: I totally agree, I think the Shaded Iced Cappuccino is slightly warmer in tone and I would have expected the opposite. I love how RW does the hairline blending lighter and darker shades. My Editors Pick is in Shaded Cappuccino and my Flirt Alert is Shaded Wheat... I can not decide which I like better on me. Excellent comparison Taz.

Candi Mcgehee: Tax, do any wigs come with a lighter root instead of brown like a dark ash blond?
