Gabor Wig Review | True Demure | Gl23-101Ss | Sunkissed Beige | Pixie!

Today I want to announce and introduce a little short video series that I'm going to do for June July, and it's all about pixie cuts and some shortcuts in there too. That might not be technically Pixies but they're very short. We'Re going to start with the one that I'm wearing today and the review will be forthcoming, and this one is the cutest little pixie cuts called true de mirror by dwarf, and the color is shadow shade. 23. 101, which is the Sunkist beige and we'll go into all of that in the review, but I'm so excited to do this. I we did a video a couple weeks ago, I partnered with Kathleen Ryan on the pixie bonanza, and I fell in love with Pixies all over again and I'm so excited to bring them to you for the upcoming warm weather months. So often you look at a picture of a pixie cut or any wig online and it's so hard to imagine it on your own head and I want to prove that Pixies have a ton of styling versatility. So it might look one way in the stock photo. But you sure can make it your own. It'S so cute and usually Pixies have some layers that you can work with. It'S also the neck, so it's very very cool and comfortable. So I am just looking forward to this guide so for the next probably six weeks, I'll be airing at least one pixie video each week to share with you so again this is too demure by Gabor, and this looks nothing like the stuff. So if you, if you notice it's just absolutely adorable with tons of style versatility for you coming up thanks guys have a great summer hi everybody. This is tad. Welcome back mm my closet today. I want to do a wig review for you today, and the name of this wig is called true demure by the war. It'S one of their brand new releases for spring of 2017 and the color is GL 23, 101 ss, otherwise known as shadow shades, sunkissed beige. This pixie is adorable for a lot of reasons, we're going to go into some comparisons here, but the first thing I want to share with you is the color of the SS 23 101 shadow shade sunkissed beige on the true demure features that very light. Almost platinum like blonde, and then it has a medium brown root, so this is very different from let's say my sweet talk that I did a review on. This is the very thin color, the GL 23 101 SS shadow shades. I sunkissed beige and it features that very light. Very light, almost platinum like blonde, so that's the same. But what if there is different, is the routing so you'll notice that on true demure, it's more of a medium brown root and it's a very ashy brown color. It'S not brassy or gold like some of them get, but on the sweet talk it's just a very light golden blonde, just a shadow of a root they're, so very different, same color coding, very different. I almost wish that this same darker root was available on other colors and style are other styles with the same color coding. But I really love this because you can see the root all the way through the wig, not just at the parting space or at the wig line. The routing is very well done here and, like again, I said it's not too brassy, it's just it's very a she in tone, and it gives a very natural appearance kind of like a full frosted effect here on this on this color. So the wig really super cute. I think it weighs like two and a quarter ounces. So it's super light weight. It is completely open cap wig, it does have permit ease throughout most of the permit use being at the crown just a whole. This shape and contour there plus you'll see where it can give you some really nice lift and style. The business are about five inches here and about a one and a half inch Nate. So it's very short in the back true to pixie pixie, true pixie measurements. Here it's just absolutely plug and chug, throw it on and go. I don't think this looks bad, no matter what just give it a quick shake flip it on in you're out the door. It'S literally that easy, but if you wanted to style it you you very well, could a little contour cream could get you some pretty dramatic effects on this wig. So what's really unique about this pixie, it has a lot of PC feathery layers to it. There'S a variety of links going on here and because of the longer bang, I think you could get a lot of different effects. You can see this beautiful feathering effect here and I'm not doing much to manipulate it. I'M not using any styling product, I'm just basically using my hands to finger style and it doesn't take a whole lot. I like the fact that the the sides are longer over the ear tab in front of the ear. You could get some nice forward movement on that or you could actually tuck it without exposing any of your bio here underneath that ear tab. So the coverage is great and it's very lightweight I'll go ahead and do a spin for you. Okay, so the fact that it's a pixie cut you're not going to get a lot of movement and swing. But what you can do is just get a lot of. Manipulative ility, if that's the word, you can really manipulate these fibers into a variety of styles, and so you could really get a nice smooth, sophisticated look much like the stock photo. This wig is so much more versatile than what is shown on the stock photo for this style. You can get a nice smooth, sophisticated luck and don't you love the way Venus carries back through the stacking. Your short, I love the waviness there. Just look like natural wave, you can also get some nice lift and you can even get some pieces to stand out for you which, which I love the peace eNOS. It just gives it that and you look. That is cool and you can just do a variety of things, so you don't have to wear it. The same way same way twice, so it's soft and feminine, yet very bold in its style ability. So what we'll do next is I'll. Take you through the cap construction and then we'll do some comparisons and then I'll give you a quick look at the inside of a cap for the bores. True demure is the true open cap design with full open web set at the back and then open Westing at the top. It has a nice nice comfort strip here at the forehead along with a hidden West here at the hairline, and this helps obscure that hairline very nicely a little bit a closed cap there. That'S where the permit T's move to the perma teeth lips. Everything else that you would expect bendable, ear tabs and a bit of an open cap extended Nate, velcro, adjusters, very stretchy. This particular cap size is a petite average and it fits me wonderful. I am about a 21 and a half inch circumference, which is perfect. Petite average, it also comes in an average large size. I have with me right now Aubrey de style Aubrey by Tony of Beverly in the color routed blonde. This is a very similar wig and style to the true demure, and so we're going to do a color comparison and also a style comparison. I'Ll flip this one on as well, but let's do a color comparison first, so this is the route in blonde, which is a light beige blonde with very, very pale gold highlighting and then a me M Brown root very similar here with the Sunkist beige. But it does the sunken space does seem a lot brighter and a lot less gold in tone. So the root is blonde and the tawny Beverly Toni at Beverly is going to read a little bit more golden and warmer, although it's not a warm color per se. It'S going to be warmer than this color here, sunkissed beige, so the specs are almost identical and they're very similar wigs. So I can see where, if you really like Audrey by Tony except early, but you like a good more color better, you can probably interchange these very easily okay, so I'll go ahead and slip audrey on so that you can see how it looks on compared to The true demure, I'm back, I'm wearing Tony as Beverly abre in the color ribbon, vanilla, we're comparing to the true the Gabor. True, the mirror in GL 23 101 s s, shadow shades, some kissed page, so you can see where they're very similar in specs. They both feature these wispy choppy layers that are very easily styled. I think there might be some more waviness to the the back and the nape on the true demure and there might be a little bit more links on abri right there at the crown, and I do have a full review on Aubrey out there. If you want to take a look but give it to really cute Pixies, that I could, I can see where they could be used interchangeably and you can still get a lot of lists on both wigs. I do think that the abri has a little bit more baggy cap at the crown, at least on me again, the turret demure, but they're, both very lightweight and a very nice fit okay. So we'll be right back with a little bit of styling or Troodon New York. It has, I am outside with the Gabor, true demure, and just to show you the color a little bit in natural light. This is again the shadow shades sunkissed phase. It was just 23, 101 SS, very pretty color, and I absolutely love the routing on this, even though it's a soft shades color, the routing on this particular 23 101 is much darker than on the other words that I've seen. So it's absolutely beautiful. This wig has supreme style ability. It'S a little bit windy today, excellent coverage on this wig no exposed West. You can feel very confident in some mild wind, tough. It has ultimate style ability, as I showed you in my video, so I just want to do it to do a quick outdoor spat for a too demure by Gabor. It'S just a little gem of a pixie
