Hey guys, it's Jessica here, how is it going? I am so excited to share some really fun news with you guys. I kind of hinted to this. I think last week but waves, my patties pearls reach out to me and if you guys have been in the hair, like alternative hair community for any amount of time and you've ever YouTubed anything whether it's a wig or review a color, you will know Patty's pearls. So they reached out to me and said hey. Would you want to do so wig reviews for us? I'M really excited to be here just doing a couple of wig reviews for you, and you know like I was thinking about it and it seems like lately, like everybody, who's doing wig reviews. I feel like they're kind of like a dime a dozen and I was like well, I don't want to just be another one of the people. You know just throw on something on my head, taking some cute pictures. I was like how do I do this, where it's gon na be a little different, so what I decided to do was is called my filter free reviews, so that means I'm gon na. Do wig reviews for you with absolutely no filter on anything whether it's my videos or my pictures, because one of the things that I realize lately is that anybody can put a wig on their head style. It just right get the perfect angle and take a picture and it looks great, but you really can't tell what a wig is gon na look like until you get it on you see a worn and, and people are really brutally honest. So that's what I'm gon na do. I promise promise that I will give you guys an honest review for the wigs, so I will not put any filters on my pictures. You will get a true to life color right now, I'm sitting in front of a window. So this is all natural sunlight. I have no artificial lights, no ring lights or anything. So this is just all me and I cannot tell you it's gon na be very tempting. I'M gon na want to put some filters on there do a little face tune. I'M not I'm gon na stay strong and I'm gon na go filter free for you guys, so just make sure that you know that going into it. So what I'm gon na do is just jump right into it. So I really want to say thank you again to wigs by Patti's pearls for letting me do this it. It has already been so much fun and I only have like two wigs in front of me so far, so I'm gon na review about five. For you guys so keep a lookout for that um and the first week I have is Minka by John Renault. So Minka is from the new 2018 spring collection. It'S a synthetic wig with a monofilament top a lace front and then open Westing in the back. So this is Minka. I just wanted to show you her really quick. I'M gon na show you her in the color 12 FS 8. So if you guys know me that is my color, that's the color I'm wearing right now this is Blake. This is a genre! No human hair wig, it's just kind of like weird fun, beachy kind of messy thing going on today, but anyway I wanted to wear her for sure, because I wanted to give you a really good color comparison. So, for starters, this is 12 FS, 8 and synthetic, and then this is 12 FSA in human hair and already let me move this over a little bit already. You can see that there's quite a big difference. You know, while they still look very similar, you can see that this one is a lot shinier than the human hair version. Of course, you're gon na get that synthetic wigs, you're, always gon na, have to deal with a little bit of shine. But given the cost of synthetic wigs and the ease of care and maintenance like, I can overlook a little bit of shine because synthetic wigs are really great options for a lot of people um. So anyway, I'm gon na pop a mica on and we're gon na. Just talk through it, she is not too long, not too short and she's got tons of fun and flirty layers. So um, let's take a look. Okay here she is, I literally just threw her on. I wanted you guys to take a take, a quick, peek and see what it's like. So this is Minka right out of the box and I will tell you I'm a little leery about Minka, because I'm not used to wearing styles like this, I'm not used to having a lot of texture and layers and movement. You know I just kind of do like the long bobs or you know, kind of like the long, Blake and kind of do some. You know beachy curls, but this is, unlike anything, I've worn before so when I first turned it on. I have to be honest: you guys it wasn't sold on. It always use wide tooth combs. If you don't already remember that for synthetic. So when I kind of first got her and tried her on and I brush through it just like you know, you should just to kind of get a feel for how the layers looked and how the cut was and the style you know. I I kind of looked at it like this and I'm like you know. I think that could be really cute on some some people. I just don't think it looks really cute on me. This is what it looks like when you just kind of brush her straight um. She definitely is really cute and for those of you who, like a lot of layers who like face, face framing layers who, like a little bit of movement at the bottom, you guys are really really gon na love this wig. But for me it's just not typically what I wear so I was like. Oh I don't know if I love it, but I do know that the wig was really light. It feels great on it's not very heavy whatsoever with the layers. The way they're cut they're very easy to just put behind your ears. It gives you a great cute little style, plus it comes in handy when you're just like get out of my face, and you can just put it behind your ears really easily. So I really like that. I also love the lace front on this wig I've, worn lace, front wigs and the color 12 FS 8. Before and depending on on kind of how you have your hair styled, you can see a lot of dark knotting, which is kind of like always a telltale giveaway you're wearing a wig. But with this the way the hairs are in the front, it's very very light. This is probably my favorite lace front on a synthetic that I've ever seen from John Renault. I really really really love this lace front and I feel like the way it's constructed. You can definitely wear it away from your face without worrying about it, so yeah. So I like that, it's light. I, like you, know these fun layers that you can put behind your ears. I really love the lace front. Let'S see, I took a couple of notes and it it feels really good. But again you know when I put it on. I wasn't certain that I really loved the style, so I'm gon na kept looking at it, and I was like you know what, if I just what, if I just kind of fluff this up, you know not messy, not ratty, but what, if I just gave it Some volume - and I was like whoo - I like it, so that's what I did and I really feel you guys like this is how Minka is supposed to be worn. So yeah, like I said I don't have any product on my whatsoever, but I feel like just a little bit of umph is all she needs and then I was awesome like I think I like Mika. I think I like this look and I think I love this style on me so yeah. That is, I feel, like. I unlock the secret to wearing her. So what I would do if I was gon na wear this wig is, I would definitely design it. So we talked about that synthetic wigs. I was gon na be a little shinier, so just grab some dry shampoo and spray it on again you guys this is 12 FS, 8 and natural sunlight, so you can see that it's shiny, but it's not it's not terrible. It'S not overwhelmingly shot me, so I would be shine it and then I would get some of John Reno's creme or creme. It'S kind of like their styling bomb, comes in just a little container. I'D put some of my fingers rub it in and then I would just kind of style it up like this, and I think this is like such a cute look. I would wear this with. You know going out to get cocktails with the girls. I'D wear this on a date night. I just love the look of this now. I hope you guys can see that I can check that out. What do you think? Do you like it when it's kind of straight or do you like it when it's puffed up a little bit um? You know, I told you guy said it was a mono top, so you can part it the other side on the other side as well. One of the things that I tried doing earlier was actually just taking some more of these bang layers and bringing it farther over to my right side to kind of make like more of a deep part and that looked really cute. You know you'd have to kind of train this a little bit. You know that they always give you kind of just warm your hands up and then put it on the part, and you know hold it for 15 to 30 seconds. It kind of helps train the hair to where to go, but that's what I would do. I would just kind of try it like that and then girls look at that. That is super super cute. I love that, so I would go with the deep part as well, so the only cons that I can see about this wig is that I don't like the style right out of the box when it's flat. I think you got to give her. Some volume got to give a little bit of mmm and I think she's perfect like that, and then the only other thing which doesn't really have to do with the style is just sizing. So for me I have a petite head, like kind of petite to average, and this is just an average cap and I would say it's a bit big on me. I can definitely wear it. I can definitely get away with this, but I will say it's not going to be the most comfortable for several hours that your tabs here are kind of big and then the cap kind of just sits on your ear. So there's not really much space here and after a while that can get a little uncomfortable. There'S. Definitely enough cap back here to where I can pull it down to the nape of my neck. But I do have just a little bit of extra bunching back here and where the wefts are just because my head is smaller. So again, if you have a petite head, try it see what you think, but it's really, I think, gon na be better for someone who has an average head and maybe a little larger. So you guys there it is. There is the Minka wig by genre now, and I love this wig. Can you guys tell like I've not been able to take my hands off of it? Okay, I'm gon na not touch it, it's so fun and it's, unlike anything I've worn before so I will cut it off here. I could just talk forever about it, but that would be really boring. Okay, so stay tuned in the next few days. There'S more wig reviews coming so stay tuned for that and we will talk soon, bye, guys,

T Web: You do look stunning! I think the wig is perfect on you and I thought the first one looked good but this one? Just wow!

Christina Knapp: Thank you for doing filter free without a ring light. The ring light makes all of the colors look more blonde than they are and I have purchased colors that are nothing like they appear online! Oh, and by the way you do not need any filtering anywhere… You are gorgeous! Thanks for doing this filter free videos!

Elizabeth B. In Texas: It looks stunning on you!

WIGAMANIA: Thanks for this review. I just bought this wig because of this review. Thanks again.

StudioQ: Minka is Gorgeous on you! 12FS8 is my favorite color too. Minka may be my next purchase.

Christine Vantomme: I bought the wig because I thought too it looked gorgeous but after a few days many stitches from the wig got loose and the hair wasn't attached anymore. Did anyone else have the same problem?

carol martin: That is gorgeous on you, very very flattering ! Keep it ......... its one of the best i've seen !   Adorable ( puffed especially) on you!

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: Thank you! Great review on Minka!

Christina Knapp: I like it when you fluff it up and that’s the way I would wear it as well!

Laura Stritzinger: I just bought a Jon Renau wig in shaded praline and your video is the closet to showing the true color that I’ve seen so far :)

Michelle M.: Great job except you forgot to do thr turn around and pause for at least 10 seconds on both sides as well.as showing the back of the wig and a close-up of the hair part itself. I was a little confused about the coloring as the bottom of the wig was so much darker and I really really wanted to see what the style looked like from the back to see how much of the darker hairs showed through. Can you include this on another wig review and sort of give an update on this wig after you get it styled and wear it out for a week or two and maybe show what it looks like in the sunlight? Thanks!! You have a nice personality and I think you are going to do just GREAT at this!!!

Lucypetuniaggm: Nice review, but did I miss the “spin” for a look at the back, or did you skip that?

latteliz: Nice job!
