Hey guys welcome to my world where, no matter how old you get you never need to grow up. You never need to not be excited about somebody sending you a rainbow wig for free. Thank you so much mga for sending me this wig wait. Where'S the box. Here'S the box - this is the rainbow high wig. This was sent to me for free, i'm loving this artwork by the way, so this wig that i am wearing right now. This is available at target. I'Ve seen it on target shelves in people's pictures. I'Ve been out in a while and um. I'Ve also seen it on target.com. This wig is 14.99. Now i will tell you and mj sent it to me for free, i'm going to be very honest with you. I have a huge head and it's very, very uh, tight on my huge head, but once again i suspect that a 53 year old woman with a huge head was not the target audience for this wig. But if you have a child in your life, who loves rainbow high a 14.99 wait, let me tell you something: a wig to a little. Kid is just a whole new world of possibilities. This is like the best dress-up thing ever i mean there's dress-up clothes, a wig, a wig. I mean look at what a wig made me do to my face. I like six layers of foundation on because i was trying to like make my skin go with the with the wig and then look at my eye makeup. I am so proud of my eye makeup. I have never spent so much time on my makeup at all, but this wig is so inspiring so 14.99 for this wig. Thank you so much mga the wig. It does have um. So you, if for smaller heads, it's got the little stretchy thing in the clip. Um, i'm going to insert a couple pictures of the inside of the wig it is. It is a like a like a net um. You know it. It'S it. I'Ve worn more expensive, wigs that have been just as uncomfortable on my head um and on a normal sized head or a younger person's head. You know like a child's head. This is going to be golden. This thing is so pretty look at all of the colors. Look at that, it is so pretty it comes with a brush comes with its own brush, so you can, you know, do your oh, and it is just so much fun like if, oh, my god, little melissa is like in love with this wig in love with This wig um and then i get to look like amaya. That'S right, ladies and gentlemen, are you ready? We are finally going to unbox the last of the wave 2 dolls and the first doll to get a second doll, because i'm not counting the cheer dolls. Why am i not counting them? Because i'm not because i feel like this happened kind of historically speaking before the cheer dolls. So this is the first amaya that came out and she came out with came with all of the hair coloring stuff, and i wanted you to see how beautiful this hair is. The the coloring did wash out um. I had to do a couple couple of passes through with um with some shampoo, and then i put some nice conditioner in her hair and it's beautiful. It'S absolutely beautiful, and this is what her makeup looked like in this version. So very understated now amaya here, hmm. I am very excited because she's very bold, there's a lot of black and white, going on with amaya, which i really really like her character on the show is really interesting to me, because she's she's taking bella's spot um, and so you know jade, obviously not a Fan ruby, not a fan, um and but she's a fashion designer so skyler's like hair, so um, but she seemed very, very sweet. I haven't watched the last episode. I watched the one where they introduced amaya and she has this hair, i'm pretty sure when yeah when they introduce her. So i don't know how she goes from that to this, i'm wondering if stella monroe is involved somehow um. So i would also like to thank mga for sending me this doll for free uh. It'S super exciting um. I i just i i'm so excited by her. I love the whole rainbow theme because it is rainbow high, but also i am wearing my mama dragon's shirt. Um because, as as the the parent of uh, an lgbt uh, you know, trans gay son, um and and and definitely an ally to the lgbt plus community um. You know the rainbow is a really really special thing to me. And then you know, if you see, if you see someone with with this symbol on their car, on their shirt on their purse or whatever, if you see something at mama dragons, you know you're safe, that's a mom that you're safe with you know like we're. We'Re we're allies, we love you we we are. We we're here to defend you support, you help you and just give you a great big hug. If you need it, we are safe, so um i am going to get amaya out of the box and i can't stop playing with my hair and the funny thing is i'm not wearing my glasses, because my eye makeup is so fabulous, but i can't see at All like you know, and then i don't want to wear any of the really strong new glasses. So i'm going to wear my my barely magnifying glasses here that are clear. So you can see my beautiful eye makeup, which is probably my eyes, probably going to like blow up like balloons but anyway, and i will post on instagram what what i used to achieve this claudina 9 worthy. Not really look so i'm gon na get amaya out of the box and i'll be right back and they're out of the box. What well here's what happened you see? I had ordered amaya on uh, target.com and and and and she came and then after she came. I got a wonderful box from mga that included amaya, so now i could have returned the one that i ordered from target, but why would i do that so so interesting thing, i did not make any marks on the box to let myself know which one was Which so i don't know which doll is the one i purchased on target and which one is the one i got from mga, so i just wanted to just say um. First of all, they come with doll. Stands they come with the hangers, which i love. So much and they come with a comb. Now this doll her hair has product in it. It'S a little crunchy, but it's it's. You know it moves and you can kind of run your fingers through it, even even through the crunchy bits more so than some of the other um i was gon na, say: monster high uh, rainbow high dolls that i have like skyler like i can actually run My fingers through the crunchiness and end up with with some really nice hair this one. On the other hand, this is so bad. Even the back piece is crunchy. This is like crunchy cheetos level of crunchy, so i would say you know it's probably different different factories. I know we used to go through this with monster high, so i would say just keep an eye out like this one there's no way without some warm water that that this is gon na look, okay, so i'm kind of glad i ended up with two of Them because i don't know which one is is, is the is the one that i got from mgm, which one is the one i got for myself. So when you're, looking at the box kind of really take a close look at, what's going on in the box to see what the hair looks like now, there's nothing wrong with this hair other than you know out of box. It doesn't look really you know spectacular, but it's a very easy thing to do warm water. You don't even need to use um soap, shampoo! You can actually use. You know, dish soap. If you want, i like to use shampoo and then a little conditioner just because you know i'm a doll collector and i like my doll's hair to be super like like this is what you get. If you use nice, shampoo and conditioner, i mean this. Is you remember what this hair looked like in the original video and now it's like it's like a shampoo commercial, so um so yeah, so here's here's the amayas side by side. So what i? What i did here is i i kept one in her original outfit and then i put the other one in her second outfit, thus saving myself the time um and then i can display them in their their two outfits. But let's start with the original outfit now, in contrast to my usual thing, with the uh rainbow high outfits, i don't like the first outfit. Usually i'm like i don't like the second outfit, i'm not a big fan of this outfit um and it's interesting because, like fashion is i mean they're, all fashionable, but fashion design, i think is, is is amaya's thing. So, first of all, let's look at amaya's face because amaya's face is beautiful. Look at her eye makeup oops! I just hit the microphone look at her eye makeup. Oh and the rooted lashes. Get me every time, but what's interesting is i just want to compare her to original amaya, who has like almost no color on her face very very pasteli, and now we've got like she's got a whole new look, you know um and i love the red lip. I love the whole black like the use of heavy black in her clothes and her design. I love that her nails are, they are painted, but they're white um. I i'm fine with the shirt. The shirt is great. I just don't. I would like this better if this had just been a skirt, instead of it trying to be like a halter top and then a skirt love the rainbow sequins love the zippers love the zippers, and i love that the zippers have zipper pulls um. But i think i would just really like this better. Is it two pieces? Can i take the top piece off? Let'S see, i can take the top piece off. So this is two pieces: okay, the sparkly bit. So i'm going to take the top piece off and let's just see if it looks better and that's what i love about these dolls. Is that even the you know, one outfit is multiple pieces. So you you get all these different pieces and you can try different things: um and i'm gon na get rid of the belt, because i don't like the belt either. So i'm taking the belt. Okay, all right! I like this outfit now now i like the outfit, isn't it just much more? Just i don't know it's more streamlined. I think it's actually more vivid this way. Somehow um - and i mean i am not a fashion person - by any stretch of the imagination, so um the fact that i actually remembered to wash this shirt, so i could wear it for this video today is me my level of fashion um and then her shoes Are unusually subdued here in the first outfit but of course i'm always a fan of the sparkle socks um. She does have a little bit of um markings like on her leg, some black markings, and i'm wondering if this is the one that came from mga and if this is an early earlier uh earlier out of the factory doll, and that's why it's not like super. You know super perfection as far as the hair, um and and the marks on the legs, but i'm liking it. This way so much better so much better and i will do her hair and maybe when i do her hair, this one will get like an updo because she's got such pretty color going on underneath. So this, oh, i love this so much better comment down below right. You love this right agree with me. I put on a wig and and spent an hour doing uh, wig and makeup so agree with me. Okay, so i'm gon na put you to the side. Now, for the second outfit, so obviously i love the second outfit, and it's not just because the hair is better on this doll, i mean it really isn't i've loved the second outfit in every video i've seen yeah. Let'S just see if there's any difference, we'll do a close-up of the two dolls i'll take some pictures to see if i can see if there's any difference in the faces and the level of makeup. So this is what i mean. This is what the hair looks. Like when it's you know - and this hasn't even been washed yet this is just me running my fingers through it. This is whoo. This is so pretty. I love it now her having the long sleeves and the hoodie underneath her cheerleading top is giving me um. All the feels of the one year that i was a cheerleader in high school, i went to an extremely strict, all girls catholic high school and we actually cheerleaded in long sleeve, white turtlenecks and our skirts came down past our knees yep, it was very. It was very entertaining um. I love that she's got the little rh logo here. I love that this is black and then down here. I want you to know something guys. This isn't just color. This is like little pieces of move your hand sweetheart, like pleather, like fake leather, all the way around the skirt that is so cool, and i didn't know that until i you know started looking at it. Then we've got these epic black knee-high socks almost really thigh high. I need these, they say rainbow they're awesome and then these uh really cool shoes. Okay, really really cool. Look at the bottom! Look at the bottom, multiple colors and we've got the rainbow right. Black ankle strap they really really pop look at the backs. I mean they got all the colors in the shoes right they did. It got all the colors in the shoes. Here'S what i wish about the shoes i wish they were platform. Sneakers remember: when monster high used to do like the cheerleading line and stuff they would put them in ridiculous platform, sneakers or high-heeled sneakers. That would have been really cool if these were like super stiletto heeled, because they are super stiletto, heeled, super stiletto, heeled, cheerleading, sneakers or shoes like saddle shoes, but rainbow saddle shoes with a big spiky heel would have been really really really really cool. I would have loved that um. All of these dolls are super articulated um. I love that there's just like like sparkle and shine in the hair there's so much hair. This is just such a great like if, if you, if, if you have a kid who's, been asking you for a rainbow high doll, but you can't you know it's hard to pick a color right and you can't afford to buy them all of them. Amaya rain is the solution to all of your problems, because she's all of the colors see how that works, she's beautiful she is gorgeous, and if you get one with crunchy hair, just some warm water rinse it out it'll be great. Both outfits are great. Just you know lose some pieces of the first one. She really is picking on you. I am just like my self-esteem is in the toilet. Right now, i'm sorry sweetie. How do you think i look ridiculous in this wig? Okay, i wasn't gon na point it out, but you do, i know middle part, not my friend, a middle part has never been my friend it immediately elongates my face my face looks like a big football see. We all have those thoughts about ourselves, um, but again huge thanks to mga for sending me the amaya rain doll and the wig for free amaya is 26.99. The wig is 14.99. One'S lip is darker than that one. I feel, like even their skin, looks like different colors all right comment down below i'm going to take some serious pictures. As soon as i rip this wig off my head, um again, the wig will fit most normal heads. Just if you have a big head. Like me like, if you're the person who you know wigs, are always a problem, headbands give you a headache. Your glasses are always pinching on the side of your head and you can never find hats that fit it's gon na be snug, but if you're a normal human being without a watermelon for a head or you are a child, you should be fine and it's beautiful And i love the art on the box so much like i want to frame this art again. Dresden219: I know RH is obsessed with the sock/heel combo but it is a pain to put them on and then the shoes. Also, my Amaya's knee high socks had holes in them when I put them on the doll. MGA needs to rethink how they affix clothes to the boxes so as not to damage them. The plastic holders damage the more delicate fabrics.

Steve Gibson: I have found that it’s really up to your discretion on if you are going to run warm water and soap in your dolls hair. Amaya, Ruby, Sunny and Jade were the only ones I didn’t need to run water through and it looked super cute. I tested the water on Skyler and Poppy and it ended up being super cute after it dried, but I really do love the texture that comes with the hair and minor gel.

April Vaiarella: I just brush the product out of the hair. Most of the time it works well. Occasionally I'll have to restyle a curl or two back in, but usually just twisting it after will hold it's shape while getting rid of the crustiness.

Samm Aranchez: To me the Cheerleading Amaya’s face looks younger and a little bit slimmer than Sequins Amaya and her lips look pink. Amaya with the Sequins lips look red and she has more of a tan skin complexion than Cheerleading Amaya. PS I think you look really pretty with the wig & your makeup

Onyx: I have only ever used shampoo (baby shampoo specifically) on two of my Our Generation dolls and it improved on the softness of their hair. But their hair was a bit greasy so it needed the extra care. For most of my dolls, I stick to hot water to clean serious gel out of their hair. But Amaya is so pretty. It's especially amazing how MGA made her incorporate so many colors without making her clown like or gaudy.
