[Tutorial] How To Wear A Lace Front Wig! // Donalove Hair Wig Review

Hey guys, it's Fox - and I'm here today with another tutorial, slash review this time it's for another week, so I'm going to get cited a little bit more with their review. Before I throw this wig on and Donna loved hair, I apologize if I'm saying that wrong. It'S do n al-obeidi check out the links in the descriptions they contacted me and sent me this week for free in order to do a review for them. So I thought this was a great opportunity to teach you guys how to wear lace front wigs. So what they do is professional quality lace, front, wigs, both synthetic and human hair and extensions, and there are a lot higher quality than what I'm used to. So they are a little bit more expensive, but I'm really excited to get to try one of their wigs. Their wings are also incredibly like long a lot of their wigs on their website go down to like waist length, which is crazy. So if you're looking for a really long lace front wig, this might be a really good place to look for it. So to start it comes in this cute box. Unfortunately, mine was damaged in the mail, but that does seem to be the fault of my ship. Like the shipping company, not the company themselves, but it's really cute. It'S got this bow and on the back, it says, enjoy with a little lace heart when you open it. It comes packaged like this. So start you get this awesome, it's all crinkly. I know. I'M sorry you get this awesome brush. I am assuming it's a wig brush yeah. It'S definitely a really nice wig brush, it's cool! It'S like wavy! What'S nice about this, is that a lot of companies give you a really cheap, wig brushes and I have like. I swear I have like seven of the exact same terrible wig brush that I never use. I'M excited to give this a try and see how it works for my wings. They do send you a wig cap, which I always love, because I can always use more of these. The length of my wig is 24 inches, and that was one of the shorter ones, but I'm really excited you can kind of see from the packaging that it's a multitude of colors. These weeks are heat resistant, which means that you can style them with a curling iron or a straightening iron or any sort of heat method, which is always great, ok, so just from pulling this out the bag, I can tell you that this wig is so soft. Oh and Wow there's a light comb. You kind of put push this into your wig cap or your hair, and it helps keep the weight in place. Oh that's awesome. They have it in the front too, a lot of times with the cosplay wigs. You have to sew toes in yourself, so it's really cool to see that they're put in so you can't really tell, but this wig is a pastel pink with some pastel, purples and blues in it. Now what makes it a lace-front way? Well, a lace front. Wig has this lace in it and it has this type of hairline so where a lot of cosplay wigs have a very abrupt hairline or they just don't look the most natural. These weights are specifically made so that it looks like real hair. It comes with lace that goes from one ear to the other and the person wearing it trims it. Normally. I trim it to about half an inch, maybe even a little less and then what you need to do. Is you go to that lace down? I use spirit gum and I will show you how I do that. I'M sorry, I can't stop petting it. It'S really soft. I have worked with long waits before and they always get so tangled and always really shed and I've been running my hands through this, and I don't see a single wig fiber having fallen out, which is insane because I've done some long-haired cosplay and I feel like I'M always shedding and see how nice it's like combs through were like, Oh as a cosplayer. This is just fantastic. I'M going to show you how to put this on, which means the camera is going to move and we will go from there. So I'm gon na tell you right now. I did not have your deal set up for this, so I apologize that the kind of weird angle, but I'm gon na, do my best to keep looking at you guys. So I guess the first thing to do whenever you put on weight is to put on your wig cap. I use these wig caps, they are mesh and they have a whole level ends, because my hair is short. If you have longer hair, there are other hair nets, but they don't work for me. So I usually click my wait cast down just said they don't shift. I usually use more than this clip, but because I'm just doing a review testing, I don't I'm not gon na fill my head with clips. So don't forget that you have to cut this lace. It'S not the easiest thing. It can be very nerve-wracking for people if you've never worn a lace currently before I recommend trying it on before. You cut it just because people's lace preferences differ. As you can see, the lace has been trimmed fairly short and we're gon na get to gluing back up to my beautiful beautiful face and I'm gon na get out spirit gap. So this is what spirit gun looks like it is you're, not gon na focus. It is a special effects, makeup, adhesive and when you buy it, usually you get spirit, gum remover as well. This is what I use to put on the lace front. Wigs. There are other methods, I believe, or some that include black lace, front tape, but I use this pretty much exclusively: it's not very expensive. I usually buy it off of Amazon or Ebay, whichever one's cheaper. You can find it in almost every single Halloween store and it almost always looks like this. As long as it has a little brush, then you should be good so now to start you basically just put it on like a normal week. So then, you're gon na take your spirit, gum and you're gon na glue along the lace line, make sure the wig is positioned where you want it to go and you can start gluing it down so you're, just gon na like paint this on under the lace And then press the leaf, it usually takes a couple of seconds to dry, but not too too long so from there. You can kind of proceed to style it. However, you like, when my style wigs, I usually just use regular tress in my hair spray. So it's up to you what you want to use, it's so weird, seeing myself in long hair, while the glue is drying, be careful while you're styling, because if you push it too much, it will fall off and then you'll have to redo it. So I just put a little clip in it. Okay, so that's honestly it if you can see here, you can see some of my like weight cap and a little bit of my normal hair color under there, which is why a lace-front is considered more natural, because the front shows a little bit of dirt and Hair color, so it looks like birds coming in and if you can tell you can barely see the lace up there once it's been glued down, especially with longer wigs. So it's really convenient that looks much more natural, as you can tell this week is very long and it has so many colors in it, which i think is kind of Awesome. It is very thick, so not only is it super thick, but I've been having no trouble, brushing it out or styling it, which is really nice for once. One thing that I forgot to mention: well as putting up it when you remove lace, front wigs, you spirit, gum, remover, a lot of times when you wear prosthetics or small appliances with spirit gum. You can just pull it away from your skin and that's fine, but because this is lace, use the spirit, gum remover to avoid ripping the hairline, because that is very possible. So what you do is you take a little bit of spirit, gum, remover on your finger and definitely kind of slide it under the lace to pull away from the skin and dissolve the spirit, gum ready, and so I'm gon na mess and see how this looks In some different styles, so that was actually very, very easy and it actually looks really cute. So, let's see, let's try something else. There is okay. I don't know. If you can see this, there is no weak fibers in this hair ties. One of the last time you pulled a hair tie. I have a wig and didn't rip hair fibers. Oh no! It is just a mini problem. It'S possible! It'S just a neat book. I wouldn't recommend pulling this hair all the way back, just because sideburns and things the difference with mom I mean most people who wear long wigs realize that they don't have sideburns. You can glue down you. Another thing I should know is that if you use a skin colored wig cap under this wig, it will probably show up as more skin tone um. I use black wig caps. It gave me one - I probably should use it, but this will be more skin tone than this darker color, but I don't mind the darker color, so it's up to you and also look at how cute this looks in pigtails super cute. It'S so adorable! Oh, it's! So nice, it's so soft guys it's such an A+ quality wig anyway guys. I hope you liked this review slash tutorial.
