Chocolate Brown & Honey Blonde Highlights ! | Blunt Cut Bob #Juliahair

Hey everybody, it's ivy and today we're going to be doing a new hair video. So i wanted to give you guys some color. I wanted to do something a little bit different and i thought this hair would be perfect. So if you're a dark skinned, chocolate girl, like me, you're, probably always on the hunt for like the perfect blonde or brown color. I just think this complements dark skin. So well so if you're, a beginner and you're not skilled at coloring or things like that, this hair and video is definitely for you. So i was sent this wig from julia hair and i thought it was perfect. You guys because it already comes colored. Okay. So you don't have to do anything to this wig like when you first get this when you take it out the box. This is how it looks it's um already colored and it does come with a um. It'S not a transparent lace. The lace does come like a light brown color, but i did go in and tint my lace and i'm going to show you guys how i did that later on the video. This is how the wig looks. The hair texture looks really nice. All i had to do with this wig was go in and pluck it a little bit more around the hairline, but it already came pre-plucked really really nice and it's simple. It'S beginner friendly. I decided to do to this wig cause. I knew i was gon na. Wear it like silky straight, i just went in with my blow dryer brush and i got this from the middle of the mall. You guys, i don't even know the name of it it wiped off. So i will link below an alternative to use that works just as good. So i like to do this when i'm wearing silky straight hair, just because it cuts down on my flat iron time, i'm just going to blow out the hair until it's pretty much straight. As you guys see me doing right here, it takes me about five to ten minutes. To do this step, then i'm going to go in with my flat iron - and this is my um red by kiss silicone styler. You guys. I'Ve had this for about seven years. Maybe seven, eight years this flat iron works so good. I love it on extensions. It just presses the hair out, perfect okay, so i just went and flat ironed. My hair, i didn't do um any type of technique. I just wanted to hurry up and get this hair, nice and silky. So once i was done doing that, i did go in and just fix up the parting area. So now i'm going to take my spray tank and i got this new tent from lace grip. Now i do make my own tent, but i actually ran out so i was like you know what i'm just going to go ahead and buy some and try it out. This tint works really. Well, you guys. I almost like made my lace a little bit too dark. I only sprayed it one time and then i went over it um with my blow dryer just to dry down, and then i like to use my blow dryer just to press my wig down. So everything can um sit nice and flat on my head. Okay, you guys so i'm getting ready to go ahead and put on the wig okay guys. So now i'm just putting on the wig getting everything into place and i do have to um go in and cut my lace, but first i just want to put it on and see how everything is looking. So i'm going to go in with my scissors and just cut my lace. Okay, you guys so right in the front. I need to plug a few of those hairs out. I am going to use just a little bit of got to be around the hairline because um, sometimes when you're doing like color wigs, it just looks better when it's um. You know like molded to your hair, i'm just applying a little bit around the hairline and then i'm going to go in and do my baby hairs. So, as you guys can see, um tinting, the lace is really important. Like the wig matches seamlessly it's like the same color as my skin. Definitely don't skip out on tinting your lace. It'S really important, okay guys! So i'm done, i'm tacking the wig down and right now, i'm just gon na take a little bit of hair out the parting and i'm using my flipped out spray on finisher. I'M just going to put some at the top because there's a lot of flyaways and i'm just going to go back in once that dries and brush it back out just to like break up any crunchy cast okay. So i don't want a whole lot of baby hair y'all, just like a little certain, not too much and i'm just gon na um kind of brush it out first and then i'm gon na go back in and cut. I don't want to cut first. I really don't know how much i want so yeah. This is another one of my little tricks i like to do. I usually do this when i'm doing like clients or something because i never know right off the bat like how much baby hair to do so. This allows me to see exactly what it's going to look like when i go in and cut okay. So now i'm going to go in with my little edge brush and eco styler gel, because that's what i like to use to do my baby hairs and i'm just going to brush everything into place. Okay guys! So once i'm done my baby hair, i'm gon na take the blow dryer and just um dry them down just to seal everything in place, because i don't want to move around it's cute. I really y'all, i'm so tempted to cut this hair like should i cut it? I think i'm gon na cut it i'ma cut it. This wig is 24 inches. So it's pretty long. It'S pretty long on me. It comes like down to my belly button. So yeah you guys i'm definitely gon na cut this. I feel like um long, it's a lot. Okay y'all! So i plugged up my clippers and let's cut okay, you guys, so i did cut this side a little shorter than this side, but that's okay, um! I'M gon na put a little bump in it and i'm gon na come right back and show you guys how i did that for now. I'M about to clean up all this hair because it's everywhere and then i'll finish after it's clean, because i can't work with. Like hair and stuff around, so i'm just going to go in and put a few bumps in the hair. Okay y'all see the vibe i'm going for basically just go through and bump the hair. Just like that, it's really really simple y'all now, usually i would do this in um like little sections like parting, the hair out, but this get it gets the same effect like this. It'S just a quicker way to do it. Okay, guys so i just um finished curling it and i think it is so cute like. Yes, i really love the cut and i love the color like for some reason. I, like colored, hair, like a shorter lens. I guess it gives me more of like a natural vibe. If that makes sense, the color is so cute, like it actually works with a dark skinned girl, and i am dork chocolate. Okay and it looks really good on my complexion - and i love this wig, because even if you don't want to have like brown hair, you can put like a red rinse on it or purple rinse or blue rinse. And then you have a really cool. Look like that, i think that's what i'm going to try next, i might um put a little rinse on it and see how it comes out, but i absolutely love this wig. It is so nice and bouncy um. The hair feels like a really good quality. It'S not tangling, i did get some shedding, but no tangling whatsoever. So let me come in and just show you guys the highlights. I think the company did really well on the color. I don't think i ever had a wig comes to me already colored, but the color looks really good. It'S not like choppy or you know anything like that. It'S like the perfect color and it is a nice tone. It'S not too, like it's, not brassy or you know, orangey. It'S like a really good tone.
