Carol Powell: Eileen, thank you for the color comparisons for EW wigs. I’ve been wearing EW wigs about 5 yrs now and have seen a subtle change with the champagne r color, it used to be a lighter shade of blond than at present. Wig colors can be very confusing to me as a buyer because one wig brand and style can vary in actual color tone from one to the the other in that brand. It’s hard for the buyer and seller on both ends.

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: Wonderful comparison Eileen! So helpful! I prefer the rooted.. love the dimension! XOXO

Miss Pethamhouse: Thanks so much for these colour comparisons!! They are very helpful

Margaret Tassey: Thanks for the comparison. Very helpful.

10TOES: I prefer the non rooting, maybe cause I’m older person.

Deborah Ahonen: I’m disappointed that Ellen Wille blonde colors are so gold! So many women complain about this, but the wig manufacturers don’t seem to be listening (except Belle Tress). We need more cool-toned blonde colors, or at least more neutral colors, and roots that aren’t so dark! And more unrooted blondes for us seniors! We also desperately need more consistency in the colors. It’s expensive and frustrating to have to return wigs due to colors varying all over the place! Shaded Biscuit by Raquel Welch, for example, has completely changed and is much darker now! I have 2 pieces in unrooted Biscuit which look very different as well: the older one has more platinum, especially in the front (which I love) and is well-blended; the newer one has less platinum, even toward the front, and the color is chunky and stripe-y. Unwearable for me. I used to be a manager, and if you give CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS to artisans, including photos, and precise “recipe” for desired results, you’re more likely to get consistency. It can be done! C’mon wig manufacturers - listen to your customers!
