Hi guys welcome back so today's video, i want to show you some tips on how to get the flattest wig installed. If you are not able to braid your hair down a lot of times, this can be a struggle for someone if they don't know how to braid or they can't get into a salon. So for me, my hair is not really that thick. However, i know a lot of times. I don't like to cornrow my hair because it takes time or i just don't do it properly. So when i am wearing my wigs a lot of times, i just kind of put my hair into a ponytail which may not give me the flattest install. However, these tips in today's video - i will show you some tricks on how to make it look a bit flatter. So the wig that i'm working with in today's video comes from af sister wig, i will be sure to link it below in the description box. I'Ve already moved removed the lace from the wig. Today'S wig install is going to be completely glueless a lot of times. I don't like to use glue on my hairline, because i just don't like the breakage. It calls so we're going to use hair mousse today and what i'm doing and what i have done is apply a bit of this hair mousse. I will link it below all around that hairline now when it comes to your straight wigs. Of course you want, if you can, to get your hair braided, because straight styles will you know, create humps and bumps if your hair is not laying flat under your wig. So today i just kind of put my hair back into a ponytail. So, as you can see when i first put the wig on my hair, it is a bit raised at the top, but applying this hair, mousse um and just you know, setting my parting with it is going to help. Give me a flat look, even if i can't get my hair underneath very flat, so the number one step is to use some type of product, whether it's a hair, wax or a hair mousse and then take a hot comb and lay that parting and flatten. That hair down very well another thing i'm going to do since i'm not gluing down. My wig install today is to tie down the hairline with the slay band. This is going to lay that lace flat and just let it dry, you can sit on your hooded dryer. If you want to - or you can just do like, i'm doing use a handheld dryer now it could be very helpful if you are wearing a wig to consider how much hair you have and what you can and can't do with your natural hair, because if you Do have a lot of hair under your wig. You may want to go instead of with the straight style go made with the body wave or curly style. These styles tend to be bigger and it don't give you that helmet. Look when you're wearing a wig so but, like i said if you wanted to go with the straight styles, like today's wig, you can make sure to cornrow your hair underneath or you can tie down your hair with a head scarf to lay everything flat. Maybe for about 30 minutes - or you can just add simple curls to a straight style - give it volume at the top like right now i cut a layer right at the top and then i'm giving it a little bit of volume so that there won't be like A hump at the top of my head or anything like that, it'll all fall evenly now for the parting. I did take out just a little bit of hair around that parting and as far as the hairline itself, i did not tweeze it. The wig does come with this beautiful hairline that you all see, so i'm just basically like i said, adding a little bit of volume right here to that front piece. So far, everything to me is laying okay, like i don't feel like my hair, is giving me problems as far as being lumpy at the top. I did do a side parting because if you do have a lot of hair under your wig, sometimes a middle parting cannot work if your hair isn't as flat as it needs to be. So if you do a side parting, it can give you a little bit more volume there. You can also create, like a side, swept bang or anything just to make it work um, and i think this is a very helpful video because, like i said not a lot of people know how to cornrow their hair or they don't just don't want to go To the salon to pay someone to do it, so if you just want to make your wig look good, like i said, adding a bang using that side, part making sure to use that flat iron, not flat, i'm sorry making sure to use that hot comb to Press out that top and set your parting is going to be and make the biggest difference when it comes to making it work. So, as you can see, everything is looking amazing. I actually really liked how it turned out. The hair mousse definitely helps the baby hairs not to be so harsh. As you can see, they look very soft, very natural. My lace is melted. Everything is laid, so you guys can definitely drop me some comments and let me know what you think about today's style and give me some tips on. If you don't know how to cornrow your hair, how do you manage your hair under a wig again? This wig will be linked below in the description box. This is from af sister wig. This is their delicate, hairline wig and i absolutely love it. They do have this delicate, hairline, wig and curly straight body wave wavy, so those links will also be below. Graciously Blessed: Hello "Ms. Precious Marie" = "Ms. Natural Beauty." I hope that you and your family are having an amazingly great day. Thank you, again, for another blessed presentation. No . . . I do NOT know how to properly cornrow my hair backwardly, to obtain the flattest install for myself. These tips were most helpful. Your explanations were so insightful, as usual. May you, your husband, and your family continue to be blessed. Amen.

TheHixMixTV: Thanks for this vid. When my braids get puffy and I don't want to rebraid these are great tips. Your natural hair is gorgeous and healthy

MsHoneyFly11: The tip about doing a side part instead of a middle part is very true now that I heard you say it. I hate humps under my wig. I usually braid my 4b hair down flat but it takes long esp if I blow it out first. I just took out 4 big cornrows and I hated feeling the big braids under my wig. I wanted to change to 8 braids but didn’t have time. Tip: like you said curly styles will hide any humps. Also kinky straight blowout textured wigs are great bc they’re thick with a lot of volume but you still have a straight style. Also I like to part off the area where my edges are and put a thin braid on each side going down toward my ears so my hair is not always being pulled backwards. I think this is a good way to save my edges from too much tension. It’s also important to make the cornrows tight and neat especially toward the crown and back of the head to avoid humps.

Beauty by Jay Morris: Very cute style Marie, personally I braid my hair under my wigs

_bukkak3_ Hurrikan3_: Can we get a part two !!!!!!! because I feel like you could of given more tips about natural hair under the wig like different styles and maybe different caps to use …. More things to avoid

Alebra Smith-Cooper: Thanks Marie that hair is flawless.Great tips

Mammie Summers: Love the tip Marie, I stopped braiding my hair. I just put my hair in a ponytail.

Monebyrd: Your hair is beautiful ! I keep my hair flat under my units by using yarn like our African sisters here on Yt . I oil my scalp and the wig looks flat.

Elisa Casasnovas: thank you for the before and after, great visuals

Megan Daniels: This is on time. Thanks

Kyli Catherine: This is cute Marie, and makes you look so youthful

Panda Manda: How do you deal with “buckling” from a frontal

BPR: Beautiful ♥️

Jennifer Brooks: I personally don't think humps under a wig look bad. To me, it makes your hair look thick. I really make sure my hair is flat at the top and sides, but in the back, I don't mind humps there. It's less obvious.

Johnie Boi3: ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Gail Hopkins: LOVELY, grace , peace, love, charity to u (MPM) & ALL.gh
