Water Color Method Using Box Dye! Does It Work?

Today'S video is gon na be about how I got this color. I use the watercolor method because I wanted to know if you can do that method using box die cuz. I know a lot. People want to know that this particular color you can, but I feel like this color woulda came out much darker if I would have just put it on the hair without the work the color stick in my listen to me. It'S not exactly what I wanted, but it's fine I'll get over it, whatever still gon na whether we looks cute. If you want to see how I got this color, please stay so know. I have four box dies and I have to cut a dark ash blonde and medium ash block. So I'm gon na mix the medium as well on the dark ash ball together, I'm just kinda box out there. So in the box I had the developer and I guess you can say that activator inside the little black bottle brown bottle. So I'm just gon na mix those two things together, like the directions say then I just want to go grab the things I would need to mix them both together. So now I'm just mixing it up. Then I'm just gon na shake it. So I can make sure that it's all mixed in together now I'm just opening up the next box. I don't know which colors tears but, like I said I just mixed the dark ash blonde, a medium, a gone together. So now I'm bout to repeat the same exact steps idea for the first bottle, which is mixing it and then shaking them both up the can now, I'm just about to mix the two bottles inside the purple mixing bowl, so I'm just gon na mix them both In so that I can actually mix the color together mixers who comes together, like I said, and I want to make sure I mix it really good. So I'm gon na do it for like 30 seconds, probably more than 30 seconds but yeah. So I'm still mixing just want to make sure that the pillars are perfectly mixed together. So now, as you guys can see, I have my water, so I'm just gon na start, one last time before I put inside the water now that I got it mixed all good, I'm just gon na pour it in there's like snot. So now, I'm just gon na make sure I get every drop of dye out of their Bowl. Could then stir that around now I'm going to take my wig that I handmade myself. This is the closure we using my 613 hair, so I'm just gon na dip. It inside and see would it change, because this is my first time trying watercolor with a box dye and I'm just checking to see if anything is get another hair. So I'm just gon na keep dipping it and taking it out just to see what it looks like so far. So I'm just trying to see if the color is getting on the weak and it is getting on a wig. But I just wanted to let it sit longer. So that's what I'm gon na do I'm gon na put it back in and let it sit as you can see, it is getting a little darker, but it's not how I wanted to be so. I'M just gon na let it sit in there more. I'M gon na use a plastic bag to cover it because I feel like it would soak up more color. I guess I don't know I just felt like I should do that, so I'm about to take the bag off and see how well did the dye kit on the weak. You can see that the wig did get a little darker, but not as dark. So I'm just gon na keep playing around with it, I'm gon na. Let it sit again now. I'M just massaging they're here inside the water a little bit just to get more dye on it. Then I want to let it sit again. So I let there sit now, I'm just gon na take it out, come on love them and take it out. It kind of still look the same from when the first time I'll check it out. But that's because I was being a patient and only let it sit for like 30 seconds, so I'm just taking it out and what I'm about to do next is. I think that I put too much water in so the color didn't really go on as dark as I wanted it to so now. I'M just gon na take some of the water out of the ball and then repeat the same steps I did in the beginning. Mixing up the tool box dies and then add them to the water. You guys will see that I use the less water and see that it made the hair darker. So I took some of the water out and the wig is there and that's what color? It is you guys could just see in the back yeah, so a look at the dirty blonde, which is the look I was going for it so now. I'M just about to repeat the same stuff that I did in the beginning is mixing the colors, as you guys can see. I'M just dipping the front of the wig, because I want most of the color to be on the front and when you're doing the water color method, the color is gon na get one. Whatever part you put in first, the most. So this, when you're gon na, have to go back in and add more dye, which is why the import all of the darn side to bold this time. So again, I'm just massaging the hair into the water so that I know I have all the diamond there. That'S all I'm doing after I massage so hit the wheel into the water, I'm gon na add the rest of the dye to the boat so that I can get it to be a little more darker because it's still kind of like so you guys gon na See me at the rest of the dye here before I add the rest of that. I'M gon na remove the wig out of the boat, I'm removing it because I don't want to waste the diet on the weak and certain parts of the weeks are darker than the other. I want it to be on the wig, it's even as possible, so I'm just gon na check the wig and put it inside the other bowl. I have on the side and then add in the rest of the dye and stir it and then I'm gon na put the week back in there and this time we want to be patient and let it sit for 20 minutes. So I'm gon na put the plastic bag back over the bow so that it can sit for 20 minutes. So now I'm just gon na clean up my mess and then I will be back in 20 minutes to show you guys have.
