How To: Tone Down Bright Red Hair Water Color Method Feat. Wet Kiss Hair 99J Lace Closure Wig

New wig alert new make alerts new wig alert. Oh all right, you guys! So let's go ahead and get into this um. So i went and grabbed some of my conditioner uh. This is a joyco moisture balance conditioner and i did use like hot water. I wouldn't say like boiling hot water, but like real hot water from my sink and put it into this bowl. So we can go ahead and get this color on here. Honey um this wig y'all, was so bright, like it was like a pinkish red like. I don't think that that color would have looked too flattering on anyone. I was like nah man. We even do that, but i put like about a half a bottle of the adore color. I got the shade mocha, it's like a sort of like a reddish brown. It'S it's cute, but i ended up using like the whole bottle like to get the color that i was trying to do for this hair. So i'm just going to do a test strand, so i can see like what i'm working with and honey. I was not pleased. Definitely not. I was like look. I'M gon na put this thing right back in there um. What i will say, though, y'all like the wig, is really really good. Like i'm not even gon na lie, it was a pretty decent size, especially for my head because, like i have a very very small head, but yeah, so as you can see, i was not pleased with that. Color, like i was like nah man like this, is not gon na work, so i just ended up dumping the whole bottle of color into the bowl and just mixing it up. Um. Now i am like just water tinting, the entire wig. Not really doing you know any dyeing or anything i didn't have the time or patience to want to do that, but yeah i'm looking, i'm like. Okay, just dump it in there. So we just going to work going to town and don't mind me chewing my tongue. Y'All, i got you my tongue, that is my habit. Okay, don't judge me, don't judge me. I'Ve been doing that since i was a baby, but y'all do y'all see how that color like is just taking so easy, like. I completely see the difference between that bright. Ass red that they had a girl with to now, like it just looks so much better and i loved like how the color came out and how it also had like a few little strands that had like a little bit of the color previously because, like it, Just kind of gave like this little highlight, but y'all can see it. I look that looks so good looks so much better. Oh my gosh, so i did see that the lace um was not um tinted all the way, so i definitely did re-dip it in the water a few times. I am combing it out. As you can see, and when i was doing this, it was like not shedding at all like. I think i only got one strand when i was actually doing this hair like combing it through and everything i was just like. Oh, my gosh and the hair is so soft. It doesn't have a smell or anything like. I really do recommend this wig company. You guys, like i was a little skeptical because it was a colored wig and i've never like worn a pre-colored wig before so i was really really nervous about it. I was like, oh my god. I hope this works out well, so i did get some more water and i poured it into the bottle and i'm shaking up the rest of that color, because we're trying to get every last inch of color out of this bottle to use on this wig after I did that, as i was telling y'all before i went ahead and i had to re-dip the lace part, because the roots were still very very bright. So i just like dipped the lace and i let it sit in the water for like a good little few minutes before i came back to go ahead and finish washing everything out and if y'all have not already go like go comment. I see me looking at this thing: honey, i'm looking to make sure all of the color is like completely taken on the lace, because i just really did not like that bright ass future future y'all, like color, that was going on, i said fuchsia that bright color Was just not y'all like i was like oh my gosh. Now this hair is from wet kiss. If i have not already said that um i will put the link in the description box about you know all the details with the hair. What inch and everything i got it came pretty pretty fast as they always do, especially you know during this christmas time, because you know everybody named mama ordering something look at that. Color y'all, like it just looks so good. It'S like a plumish, burgundy color. It'S like a plum burgundy, it looks so good you guys it looks so pretty. I was so happy the way it came out because your girl was scared. I did not know what was going to happen when i dip this hair color in okay. So now i'm just going to take a little bit more conditioner and just put it on the hair and i'm going to use cold water to rinse out the conditioner and any leftover dye that's on here, because i don't want to lose like the color anything. But yeah as y'all can see like it was barely any shedding any any like that. Look at that wig y'all, like that wig is beautiful, like oh, my gosh, so cute. This is my first time ever trying a colored wig and when i tell y'all i was so scared, but y'all gon na see the results. I'M trying to tell you. I was a baby. I was a baby. Okay, y'all go see, y'all go see, just wait on it. Just wait on it, jill white, but yes y'all it. It was a pretty good wig. You know um. I will say that colored hair is not um meant for me to wear for a very long time. I would definitely say that um, because it's the upkeep, it's like crazy versus just having a regular colored wig. The upkeep is definitely a lot okay, okay, now time for the reveal. Oh, you see. The hair laid baby lay that color came out so good y'all like late. Well, you see a hair, you see a shine. The silkiness like this wig was beautiful. This is when i was out for new year's y'all. Couldn'T tell me nothing. Oh my gosh y'all.
